We reserved a table for 6.30, but it wasn't necessary and we were more or less the first diners to arrive. We were invited to choose a table and take menus, which we did. But no one came to ask if we would like a drink whilst we were waiting so we went to the bar and ordered

We went as a group of 5 friends and lots of what we ordered was unavailable, from garlic ciabatta , lamb and pineapple juice?!? the waiter was amazing and tried his hardest to help us, but felt so sorry for him as he dealt with a disgruntled table next to us too. we waited

Nice pub with good service but food was nothing special, quite disappointing in fact! We had a sharing platter to start & had to ask for more bread to dip in the Camembert as there wasn’t enough. My Caesar Salad was ok but my friends lamb burger was dry & rubbery & not very well

Had lunch for two before visiting the Bird of Prey open day. The food was excellent, an antipasti platter, sweet potato fries, sauted mushrooms and a couple of soft drinks. The staff happy to see you, polite chat at just the right level. We sat outside on the deck area as it was

I was the said senior bar person on that shift and the girl that was called a tart by myself, was a former employee who was dismissed for the same behaviour...flirting outrageously with male customers, which resulted in fake £50 notes being excepted by her...yes 2 of them....the younger bar maid had agreed that afternoon to stay on and help me with evening shift as I was ill...all was fine until the said other girl came in, then the bar maid started playing up saying she didn't want to stay, even though we were busy, I told her that she couldn't go because we were busy, she to which replied I don't feel well I am going to get the bus....I of course was angry & upset that she walked out when we still had a bar full of customers.....I had to phone the owner to come help me as at this point I was feeling very ill ( I then spent the next 8 days in bed very ill )....I have had a look to see who you are Tracey Doole & she that you are the bar maids mum !! your entire review is flawed as yes you came in to see your daughter for 10 mins that eve on your way home from cabot...what you fail to say is that your daughter who made out she was ill....in fact she wasn't as she took herself off clubbing straight from the pub.....to say I was unprofessional is a slander as not once did I raise to the flirting young girl shouting at me...but as she was asked to leave the pub before this & wouldn't....she stood at the bar with your daughter trying to get me to rise into a row of which I wouldn't......next time you wish too leave a review please make sure that you know the entire facts....yours sincerely the senior bar person.
What time can we get into our rooms please.
You will need to contact the hotel to see if a room is available early but normally after 3pm.
