PZ Country club has terrible cutomer service. They scammed me with a promotion tour. The owner is famous in Costa Rica to be a scammer. Do not visit this location. There are plenty of other hotels that are much better.

I had no choice but to stay here for a recital in PZ. There were no other hotels available. I read the reviews of broken bric-a-brac, and smelly pillows; leaving me highly concerned. So much so, we brought our own pillows and towels just in case. Upon entering the room I was surprised at how spacious and modern it was. I thought the staff was above average. The pillows by no means smelled and the entire room was actually almost 5 star. The coffee bar was not stocked, there were no coffee cups. the water went off for a bit on one morning, and there is a bit of noise. The hotel is actually situated on quite active soccer fields. When I say active, I mean 5am-12pm. We were cool with it given the circumstances, but if you want quiet I am not sure you will find it. Last thing. The grounds are astounding. The pictures posted to not do the compound justice. There are three pools, a good playground, gameroom, and advanced gym. Do not be concerned if you are going to stay here.

Arrived at the hotel where front desk staff was clearly not properly trained. Music was blasting loud and the room was facing the soccer field. The noise level was loud. The room was large but with tacky furniture. There was construction and there is no elevator access to the rooms. The rooms have exterior corridors. I saw that everyone could enter the property and I am not sure how safe the neighborhood is. The towels smelled moldy. Food service was more like local cantina food. Breakfast was ok.

As I lay here at 9 Pm all you can hear is loud shouting from not one but two brightly lit SOCCER fields on the property??? The neighborhood is clearly dangerous as there are men armored at the gate. The hotel itself is not maintained, lights out, a dirt hole just outside the room with glass and trash everywhere. The food at the “wet bar,” restaurant was awful and the music so LOUD it was impossible to talk. But perhaps worst than the dangerous, ghetto neighborhood, where angry large dogs are behind each and very heavily gated property is the fact that live soccer games are played throughout the night.
