This place needs to improve on their service. Given a good location to attract a lot of customers, the place is not up to standard. I give it a 10 for cleanliness. A good shower is a necessity in the north, and this place lacks it, the shower head is terrible you have to fight to get water out of the shower because it drips/ sprays in small amounts and there’s no shower door or shower curtains, which makes the floor slippery. The chefs needs proper training they definitely can’t cook, even the traditional chicken is normally Smothered in a lot of soup which is very salty. The rooms are too bright because they don’t use block out curtains and a lot of light comes in from the lights outside that are kept on throughout the night. The service is also not up to standard. The owner is also not welcoming at all he also lacks customer service. Breakfast is too basic and nothing exciting.

The rooms are clean and the staff are so well trained and helpful. The food is terrible, the chef needs some training to improve some basic skills, such as not serving chicken that is dry and maybe learning some baked goods for afternoon tea break. The other issue with the food is that there is obviously cost cutting that really affects the quality. The cuts of meat are cheap and considering the poor quality meat, the meal is completely over priced, the veggies taste like they just come from a tin, the breakfast is boring, muffins at afternoon tea are dry and the pizza is a joke.
But the pool is nice.

This Lodge is situated with a hundred metres of the entrance to Ondangwa Airport, alongside the main road running through Oshana Region.

Rooms are adequate, with Tea/Coffee, fridge, aircon, en-suite shower and TV. Beds are clean and comfortable.

The staff are the stars of this Lodge however. They are friendly, attentive, flexible and generally all-round accommodating - Customer service is superb.

We needed early breakfasts, they were there on time.

We needed extra meals for some of our staff to join us - no problem.

Overall a good hotel experience.

I ended up at this establishment because The Protea Hotel was fully booked. The rooms furthest from the reception had absolutely no Wi-Fi I don't know if the owner OR manager has never heard of a wifi range extender ?
The only positive is that the staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
When lifting the toweln from his bed my colleague found a nest of spiders.

Supper was a disaster three of us wanted to order Eisbein but we were informed that there was only one left in the kitchen. I decided to order the eisbein but it was a huge disappointment as it was overcooked I couldn't even cut it with a knife and had to brake the overcooked meat from the bone.

The mixed vegetables and chips that came the eisbein was well prepared.

Breakfast the next morning was also a huge disappointment. There was only one toaster for the guests there were some cereal and the rest of breakfast consisted of fried egg, piece of sausage and a piece of liver. they didn't have bacon in stock but what made me wonder is that there was a huge supermarket chain in town but still no one even thought about buying.

Guests couldn't even put margarine on the bread because the margarine was rock hard. luckily there was a bowl of peanut butter so I use the peanut butter in the place of the margarine.

Will I stay here again definitely not. Please people make sure you book your accommodation in advance and don't end up at the airport lodge.
