We are in 8B townhouse in Marazul and have a few more days to go. This townhouse and resort is lovely. The townhouse is well equipped for our needs - toaster, microwave, nice kitchen, very comfortable bed and very clean. We have not used the air conditioner - constant warm breezes and a portable fan if you need it. Love sitting on the patios and enjoying the peace and quiet, watching the birds and iguanas, enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean and just loving life. The owners were spot on with directions to get here as well as how to enter the resort and townhouse. Swimming in the ocean from either end of the brick wall is fun. Beautiful beaches close by. . Had the best fish dinner -fresh caught -in the world from a local restaurant - cactus cafe, by the Shete Boka national park. This is our first time visiting, but will not be our last. Highly recommend.

We stayed in 1B for two weeks in February. Marazul is located in Westpunt which is about a 40 minute drive from the larger grocery stores in Willemstad. But, it is worthwhile to stay here. We are avid snorkellers and the beaches in the west end are amazing!! We snorkelled a couple of times in front of Marazul as well! The coral is beautiful here. Although we ran into very small jellyfish each time. Annoying but not dangerous. The resort is quiet, if you want complete quiet, than find a different condo; this one is beside the pool. It didn’t bother us that much unless there are loud children. We didn’t see Rene the manager until our second week there. It was a little disappointing because we did have some questions for him. Plus we arrived on a Wednesday afternoon. Apparently there is a home-made dinner that Rene organizes for Wednesday evenings. That would have been so nice to have been invited on our first day, instead of worrying about where to buy groceries or eat after you land. The cleaning lady was very pleasant and helpful during our stay. We just happened to see her at the next unit. She offered to change our linens which was lovely. Again, no mention of how to use laundry facilities from Rene. Our condo was very clean when we arrived. There are limited kitchen utensils. We searched everywhere and couldn’t find any BBQ utensils- but there is a BBQ! We made due with what we had. It was nice to have a supply of soap, paper products, and good instructions on how to set up wifi. Unfortunately when we arrived, we couldn’t connect. There was a power outage the night prior, so the wifi was off. Again, having a building manager available would be nice. The router was in the next unit and needed to be reset before we could use wifi (which didn’t happen until guests came into the next unit a couple of days later). Wifi was promised, and that’s how I needed to reach my kids back home. So that was quite annoying. The condo owner was amazing! He was in Curacao during our stay, so luckily he was able to solve most of our little issues. He gave me rene’s cell phone, but never got a text back when I contacted him. If we didn’t have contact with the owner, this stay would have been a disappointment. Not sure why we couldn’t get in touch with Rene that first week, but we made it work. Highly recommended renting a condo at Marazul with Winfried Davies! Thank you for ensuring we had a lovely experience in Curacao!

We stayed in Bungalow 3 for a week. Would love to have stayed much longer. Everything we could have wanted/needed was available in the bungalow. The resort is very comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. It is close to beautiful beaches with great scuba diving. The sunsets were amazing! If you want nightlife and close by activities other than a beach, this is not the place for you!!

My wife and I stayed in Unit 8B. When we arrived at the unit at midnight, we had no problem getting into the resort or the unit as the directions provided by the owner were great. The next morning we met the owner of Unit 8A and they confirmed we should have a top and bottom sheet to the bed and a roll of paper towels and should just ask for them from the resort manager which we did and received. The unit was clean, the water hot and the air conditioners worked just fine although we only used the air conditioner in the bedroom for the evening. Although we rented a car, it was nice having multiple beaches and restaurants in walking distance. The unit did not have beach chairs or a cooler which would have been nice so we bought a cooler and donated it to the unit. All of the beaches we went to you could rent chairs but most other places we have rented near a beach have had these items. Given that the resort was gated, it added security and all of the neighbors we met were great to talk with and share experiences. Many have been coming back to this resort for multiple years. We really liked the laid back not crowded Westpunt area and will likely come back here again at some point in the future.

Renee (Manager) was a great host and made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Very reasonable rates and very nice accommodations. Insider secret: they have a great BBQ on Wednesday nights! This is extra but well worth it! Will definitely be back!
