Love The O'Two Hotel. It was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. We had the penthouse suite, spectacular views of the golf course, the mountains and the ocean. The design/decor work is outstanding. The light coming from the two sliding glass doors adds to how good you feel when you're in the suite. The rooftop is really great with great views of the ocean and the mountains. The whole decor of the property is spectacular, great choices of music to set mood/ambiance. They sent options for experience upgrades just prior to our arrival, I chose champagne and candy ('cause that's the kind of husband I am LOL) The transportation was perfect, late model Mercedes, had plenty of room (I mention this because in South Africa, Uber Black is a C-Class, no room in the back for tall guys, the knees in your ears program so the O'Two transportation was a welcome site). The entire rest of the staff was amazing and went above and beyond to take care of us, very attentive. Ruth is the absolute best, she knows how to take care of people. She pointed us in all the right directions for the restaurants (she'll laugh at that one, staff knows why). Lily's and Bobo's we're great choices and right next door so our dining experiences we're great. If you're ever there, say hello to my man Nic (works for Kove Collection), he'll make sure you're well taken care of! The neighborhood The O'Two is in is perfect for us, its really close to to the V&A but not in it, so you miss the congestion but your access to it is quick. (we live in midtown NY, didn't come all the way out here for congestion LOL). Camps Bay isn't far either. Overall, the O'Two delivered on experience. If you like clean, modern (by the way the have great power sources for devices all around) well appointed accommodations you'll want to check out the O'Two!

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
We thought the location was great; 15 minute walking distance to the V&A waterfront but far enough away to feel a little more secluded.
The hotel is right on the sea front and there is a beautiful boardwalk that you can stroll (or scooter) down right out front. There are a several restaurants nearby too which are nicely situated if you want to eat with a sea view.
The rooftop swimming pool and bar also has amazing panoramic views of Table Mountain and we would recommend getting a drink up there on a clear day.
The room and bed was a little smaller than I would have liked, and with only one lift servicing the hotel, it was sometimes a bit of a wait for it to arrive (we just ended up taking the stairs most of the time).
Our airport pickup was slightly late which is a minor criticism. We didn’t want to wait around after a long flight and had been expecting our driver to be waiting for us with a name card - which was not the case.
However, the above did not detract too much from our stay. All in all, it a great base to explore Cape Town and we had an enjoyable stay.

We booked an Executive Suite for 4 people in May for our November stay. This is one down from the Pent House, we saw the photographs on the site. We booked and paid for 50% up front, also requesting an airport taxis. Upon getting to the hotel I noticed the room had been down graded to a superior king room for 4 people and the cost had been increased for both the room and the taxis. Upon questioning this, two receptionists were forcefully pushing the fact that the room was better for us as they were more private than the executive which was more open plan. They also suggested that the taxi I booked was only for two people not 4. I got out their confirmation which proved that I had always booked the room and the taxis for 4. We were then told that the executive suite had someone else in it and we couldn't be moved now but they would only charge the agreed price. The staircase had a seriously bad smell of sewage and one side of the hotel has noisy building works that starts very early on. We went with a friend who also booked a room for 4 and again they were charged more than their agreed rate.
I was really looking forward to staying here for our last night and our friend also for her last 3 nights, but the smell of sewage, the building works, the increase in the agreed rate and the way that we were mislead with the tiny room we stayed in. I will be honest it felt like a Con. We stayed at Gorgeous George for slightly less on our first night in Cape Town and I will be honest it was a far superior and trustworthy hotel!

Dear CarolineW269, We are totally disappointed to read your review. Yes, you did reserve for four guests, four adults. Your 'children' are both over the age of 18 and we decided to move your room to a Superior Suite so that you could have two restrooms and two showers. The Executive Suite has an exposed bath in the room and only one restroom so this would have been very uncomfortable for four adults. The Executive Suite and the Superior Suite is the same size. You paid 50% upfront, and the balance on arrival. We are happy to send you a copy of your invoice. Furthermore we only charged you for a normal private transfer R1000 and not R1800 for four guests. Please refer to your invoice. I do agree that this room change should have been discussed with you before moving this around but it was done with good intention and not to cheat you. I am sorry that this has negatively impacted your opinion of our hotel. Safe travels. All the best, Jayson General Manager

My partner and I snatched up a Superior Suite. I wanted to surprise her coz I missed valentines and not only did the room take our breath away, the setup in the bedroom with the lover's package made up for the time we didn't get to spend on the 14th. Personally, I'd forgotten that I'd asked for this and I was surprised as well and it was well worth it.
From the folks at the front desk who were so kind to us, to the porter who helped with our bags, the housekeeping folks who cleaned up after us and everyone in management and behind the scenes, we would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU! Everything was beyond our expectations and we were well taken care of.
The views were absolutely spectac, massive balconies which just made us feel like we were home. The room is for 4 but when you're half the occupancy it feels like such a breath of fresh air coz the space is extra. Loved it.
The location is a 10/10, great spot close to pretty much all the action and restaurants that you can have access to, the promenade is right across the road, there's a luxury car dealership just downstairs. True testament to luxury.
You can bet we'll be back and for longer.
We loved everything!

This was our last stop on our South African honeymoon! We just came from several days on safari in Hoeidspruit and was definitely in need of some extra luxury! The hotel staff upon arrival was very friendly and welcoming! We loved that we were told to sit down while checking in and drinking welcome champagne. The service was absolutely top notch. When we got to our room it was setup for honeymooners! Fresh roses, champagne, rose petals. The staff was so kind and genuinely cared about the activities that we were attending and our dinner plans. The location of hotel was great literally surrounded by restaurants that you can walk to. They also have bikes you can use but we did not get a chance. If we ever go back to Cape Town we will definitely be staying here! Thank you to the staff for making our stay memorable!

Wonderful hotel, gorgeous rooms, and although there is no hotel bar as such, there is an amazing roof top pool, and bar, which oozes vibes and serves excellent drinks. Food can also be ordered which is brought from the restaurant nearby, Lily's. Lily's is also super popular for breakfast. Be aware that there is construction work ongoing at the minute - literally within touching distance of the hotel so if your room is on 'the wrong side' be aware that you need to keep the curtains closed despite being on a high floor with workmen at eye level. This did not detract from our stay at all though!. There is another restaurant steps away from the hotel called Bobo's which is also fantastic, and the hotel is directly across the road from the promenade. It's 'possible' to walk to the V&A but is quite a distance so suggest start early to make sure there's daylight. This was our second stay at O'Two and there will definitely be a third.

A small and friendly hotel with beautiful surroundings and finishes. There isn’t a restaurant but there are so many within 15m that it really doesn’t matter! The spaces are well used and furnishings are tasteful. Also the toffees and fruity water at the entrance are 👌! We will definitely be back!

The waterfront is 1km from the hotel. We have bikes that can be used (complimentary), or we recommend Uber service that is very safe and convenient in Cape Town.
There are more places to choose from in the Cape Town area.
