The place to be for peace, quiet and great breakfast. Walking distance from the beach, but has it's own beautiful pool. The breakfast was my cherry and it was healthy and filling even for a big man like myself.
We‘ve stayed with you many times before, so we know how it should be… this time we realized the first time lots of staines on our furniture in the room, also outside on the balcony furniture even stains and holes! Little things that the rooms have been equipped with would not regularly replaced, for e.g. tea, milk, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, tea towels, etc… we had to ask for it all the time and still sometimes it would just be forgotten…. And no more coffee machine available for a Latte or Cappuccino…
We stayed for 6 nights at this lovely home - and it feels like a home and not a guesthouse. It must be the small amount of rooms (5) which give it a more exclusive feel. The guesthouse is located facing the beach and table mountain and is a few streets back from the expansive and fantastic blouberg beach. Our room was the Lion's Den and had its own sitting area with sofa, sink , microwave and tv. The balcony faced the street and overlooked table mountain, it was not an uninterrupted view but it was gorgeous just the same for one the most beautiful cities in the world in my opinion. the bathroom was huge with separate shower unit, corner bath and two basins - one each! and all spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The welcome was warm as the weather and Nellie was a lovely host. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was in an allocated space in the garage and although houses were bordered by high walls and electric fences, at no time did I feel uncomfortable or threatened in any way. All felt very safe with people out running and walking dogs. The breakfast was generous and served at table in the hall area near the open plan kitchen. I found that the granola starter was enough for me, but a cooked breakfast was served if you had a larger appetite. We are staying here again in September and will make this guesthouse our regular place to stay when we are in Cape Town visiting relatives. Fairview wine estate do the most wonderful lunch and the staff are terrific. We would give the Boschendal estate a miss frankly.…
Nights were warm, could not keep windows open due to mosquitoes. Rooms need fan or aircon. More variety in breakfast options, was delightful lekker and different presentations but still same food. Must have restaurants menus available for ordering in. Overall wonderful stay, would recommend
I would definitely stay there again. Loved the location and the atmosphere, people were friendly. Breakfasts were delicious, ate more than I should have. Rooms are spacious, so you don't feel boxed up. Value for money.
what a great stay - an upgrade of my room , the birthday gift that was in my room , the friendly welcome, the gorgeous breakfast, the really comfy bed. Thank you for the great service and for making me feel so welcome!
My boss enjoyed his short stay at 5 Options Guest House. We look forward to returning with the team next time and staying a little longer. Beautiful, peaceful and secure. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
I can enjoy to stay at 5 options guest house. There is good location and we can enjoy with nice view to see Table Mountain from room. I thank good hospitality of Julie and Mark. I visited West coast national park and got incredible experience and view of flowers bloomed.
Julie and Mark are unbelievable hosts. I cant thank you enough for your hospitality. Food was amazing. It was cozy and comfortable. Home away from home. Definitely recommend this place. Close to everything and my room had an awesome view.
My team and I were warmly welcomed and accommodated in very comfortable suites. Everything was very neat and tidy and the facilities were great. The location was superb with stunning views. Breakfast was an absolute treat!
