Superb 3 bedroom spacious apartment with Marina access and view. Location was excellent and felt extremely safe at all times.
Concierge was very helpful when needed.

Check in ( we arrived about 12pm - had to wait until 3pm to get room but left luggage) and check out ( we left at 4am) was very easy.

If back in Capetown would definitely stay here again.

Located right in the heart of the waterfront this accomodation makes you feel home. 50m to restaurants and clubs. Lisa, the host is a charming and apt person. What a stunning place to be. The beds are comfortable and the furniture is modern and amiable.

You can’t beat the apartments for location. We booked ours via a BA holiday and have been more than pleasantly surprised at what we got.
A huge 2 bed ground floor apartment, with patio doors in 3 rooms. We’re opposite the roof top pool, and within minutes of the waterfront.
It’s safe, secure and serene.

It is difficult to write a review on the Waterfront Apartments because as they are owned by different people the experience may be different.

We stayed in what was billed as a one bedroom "luxury" apartment overlooking the canal. The location is great about a fifteen minute walk from the V and A waterfront. Unfortunately, the "luxury" apartment was a little tired and only basically equipped. There was a large balcony but unfortunately it was not benefiting from the sun for most of the day so was not the great asset it might otherwise have been. Again the furniture on the balcony was very tired.

If the apartment was given a face lift , with its location, it would be a wonderful place.

Room Tip: Only use the apartment for sleeping, it is not comfortable enough in which to lounge.

What a disappointment. Having stayed here a few years ago we re-booked for two separate three-night stays. On the first stay the AC didn’t work and had to be managed by pulling the fuses out (which turned the fridge off) and the showers were running at a dribble. But on the second stay, we were given the worst possible “deluxe” apartment at the back near the main road. Once again, the AC didn’t work, there was no phone to contact reception and the iron didn’t work. But the worst bit was being stuck in the lift one evening. Not an experience I’d recommend if you’re even slightly claustrophobic. The staff didn’t seem bothered in slightest about any of the issues, but eventually agreed to refund us for one night. Sad to say, that a week later despite trying to contact them no refund has been forthcoming. I don’t know if they have financial problems? Just beware that this not the complex it once was. We’ll not be staying again, and we’ve already warned those who we’d recommended the apartments to. Very disappointing.

Location is good if you are looking to be in the Waterfront area and we had a unit that fit our family of 4. Staff was extremely friendly. However, we found our unit to be a bit worn looking. The sliding doors to the balcony were difficult to open and close and the air conditioning had issues. The many entrances to the complex make it confusing for Uber pick ups.

The apartment was great value, a huge space with all the mod cons and right on the doorstep of the waterfront.

It was very quiet when we were there but everything was spotless and well maintained.

The staff were fairly hands off but that didn’t bother us at all.

Our only gripe was we got fined for drying our swimming costumes on the balcony. No warning just a fine. We weren’t aware of this rule, but eventually found it on a list of dos and don’t behind the front door.

Perfect base of operations in Cape Town. Easy access to the waterfront which offers endless entertainment and eating options. Had a one bedroom apt on the marina at a fraction of the cost of local hotels. Spacious and luxurious with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher and they service your room daily. Beautiful balcony views. Main desk can help with tours, guides and transportation. Others I see complain about carrying their bags to the gate - which my wife and I did at check out but today everything has wheels anyway. With all due respect to the staff they did tell us they would pick them up for us if we called ahead. There is also a full gym and swimming pool. You get so much more for your money and all you have to do is make your own breakfast!

Whilst on our 2nd leg of a 3 leg honeymoon for a 3 day stint in Cape Town, these apartments were in the best location for access to the waterfront as well as wider Cape Town. Our particular apartment was great, with views of Table Mountain from the front balcony/bedroom, as of the river/waterfront from the balcony at the back.
The apartment itself was very spacious, modern and looked after us very well.
Beds were comfy, spacious wardrobes, kitchen was well equipped, etc.
We had a slight hot water issue, but there's a water issue in Cape Town in general so we can't knock the apartments for that!

The staff on reception were pretty average and nothing exceptional, a few delayed call-backs that we'd requested which hampered the experience with the exception of Gerard - he was great!
He took us through to our room, gave us info about Cape Town, even called Avis to help us rent a car. He went above and beyond and we were really pleased with him.

Why 3 stars and not 5 comes down to 2 key reasons:

Security is genuinely a bit of a pain - I get why it's there, but the staff on the gates aren't exactly welcoming and since it was our honeymoon it was just irritating more than anything else. We didn't expect the red carpet to be rolled out, but people skills go a long way!

The second reason being a personal experience where the night before we left, our room safe wouldn't open despite that morning it opening fine; with our passports in there and our flights the next morning...
We ended up calling maintenance who tried and failed to open the safe and resulted in us waiting in for 3+ hours for an external contractor to come out and open the safe - meaning no dinner for us on our final night. The concern is how our safe locked-out whilst we were out on a day trip since it opened fine that morning...

Overall, lovely apartments but our experience was just a little hampered!
