Rosedene Lodge is tucked away in a small street just behind busy Main Road, well sheltered from the noise and buzzle of vibrant Sea Point. With only six rooms in total, our guests enjoy individual attention and an intimate and comfortable but spacious environment in which to relax. All rooms offer access through individual terraces or courtyards with teak chairs and granite tables. Our large sun drenched pool and pool area invites you to relax on teak lounges. Fibre-optics wifi is available throughout the property. For visitors, Sea Point has developed into the most sought after part of Cape Town in recent years. It is considered safe, in close proximity to the Atlantic (less than 5 walking minutes from us to the prestigious Sea Point Promenade) and within close proximity to a plethora of shops, restaurants and the Greenpoint Stadium. Due to its location between the city centre and the famous beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, but also only 2.5km away from the V&A Waterfront, Sea Point offers excellent transport facilities.

Detailed Reviews
24/7 Power at this hotel - No Load Shedding- a rarity in Cape Town
Rosedene Lodge is a little gem of a place in the beautiful area of SeaPoint, just below signal hill and close to restaurants. If you haven’t been to Cape Town before, it is pretty unique and you will really appreciate the time and effort Michael gives, to provide you with all the information you need to keep you very safe, and enjoy your holiday here. It is a great city, five days wasn’t enough before we set off on the garden route. Staying here gives a perfect spot and a great host / concierge : ) in Michael to make the most of the Cape.
Thanks also to Teacher and team for beautiful, friendly smiley service 😊

Perfect stay in CPT. Very friendly staff and owner. We got picked up at the airport and got an around the clock service i.e. nice breakfast, tips for trips incl. free tickets for visiting a gallery, car rental, parking service and the owner even gave me a collection of his own shirts and jackets to chose from for our fancy dinner at FYN . How much better can it get?
Thank you so much for the exceptional stay!!!

The whole staff is so kind and helpful, I felt so much at home and very safe. The pool area is so beautiful, flowers in every corner and the service is great. The room got cleaned ever day. The mini bar has an outstanding selection of beverages. Towels are provided, so clean and the beds comfort made me sleep every night so good.
And last but not least - Thank you for the best Coffee ever with the most important ingredient - love.
I cant wait to come back and can highly recommend that place.

We stayed 6 days in March 2024 and really enjoyed Rosedene Lodge. Our room was just right - comfortable, well appointed, clean and had everything we needed. Michael and the service team were all friendly and helpful. Martin makes an excellent cappuccino! Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Michael is an exceptionnal host. His staff attends swiftly to all our needs. Small but very secured place, well laid out, lots of flowers and shrubs with pool section. Clean rooms, confortable beds. Two steps from restos and bars, book without hesitation.

We spend 3 nights at the Rosedene recently and had a great time. The staff are wonderful and the rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts are fantastic. Michael the owner also has a restaurant right on the market square downtown and we sampled a great dinner there one night. It is a great location and Cape Town is so beautiful and so safe. We toured Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point, Chapman's Peak, Hout Bay, Camps Bay, Sandy Bay and great shopping downtown and at V&A Waterfront. We will defintely return to this beautiful part of the world......

I've been to the Rosedene several times now - it feels like coming home every time I walk in. Teacher, Michael and the team are very warm and friendly and will do whatever they can to make your stay a real pleasure. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Excellent value for money. I'm looking forward to going back!
