Upon arrival you are assisted with everything to feel as comfortable as possible. The personnel assist with your fire and with the hot water system. The best is to sit and listen to the birds and see the elephants pass a few yards from you

Single night on route home we discovered this gem. Staff were 3 local people who were all the most delightful and helpful people. Cozy beautiful private bungalows with stunning views of the river - appeared dammed as there was no water further down. Spotted beautiful birds buck and warthog. Sadly no elephant. Will be back for sure to thes3 beautiful surrounds stayed in no 1 . Study the waste disposal... its ingenious and monkey proof. Need to park away from bungalow but willing helpers wait on arrival to help carry. Only steps not wheelchair friendly as very natural and rustic approach magnificent view even though restricted to a small area. Sad to see fences opposite side which will restrict game

What a wonderful place. Overlooking the Limpopo. Clean, comfortable, well equipped, friendly staff, privacy, pool, ticked all our boxes. This forgotten corner of Botswana is a paradise. LRL game reserve is a joy, views, ellies, hyena, lion sign and more zebra than you could shake a stick at. Worth a visit, recommend a 3 night stay minimum, I hope to be back.

Limpopo River Lodge is like a hidden gem. We discovered it only by their advertising sign in Bobolong a small town in Botswana. Because of this we found most beautiful nature park. Non commercial...no extreme luxuries... Neat and clean accomodaton. Very friendly staff. We were so lucky a " baby " were born the night before we arrived..
