Not our first and definitely not our last visit to Limpopo river lodge. We camped 2 nights. A lot of good ellies and other game. but a huge bonus was 2 Pel's fishing owl in the tree in our campsite. Awesome. The campsites and ablutions are clean and neat. Well done Isac , Miriam and Judy very friendly and helpful. You do a great job in this uncertain times. See you soon
We stayed at Limpopo River Lodge for a weekend and we had the most wonderful time! From the moment we got there we had a wonderful welcome. The staff is very friendly, the camp site clean and neat. When we got to our camp site there was a pile of wood ready for fire. We went for a drive and when we returned they had made a nice fire for us already. The following day when we went out for another drive, they cleaned up beautifully and re-stacked the fire wood! We had loads of bird life around the camp, saw lots of game and had a really great time to unwind would HIGHLY recommend Limpopo River Lodge and will most certainly be back!
Our rondavels we're spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is also very spacious and has everything you need! Views and layout of lodge is great! We really enjoyed our stay! Staff and hosts very helpful and friendly! Highly recommended! Please take closed shoes, LOTS of black scorpions and snakes.
Wonderful setting, right on the banks of the Limpopo under massive riverine trees, cool and beautiful. Staff were exceptionally helpful and thoughtful. A mature lodge with all mod. cons. Cottages with toilet and showers immediately adjacent. Lovely open view shower. Watch the river while you shower!
Nice place to stay, the rooms were large, along the river. We could observe plenty of birds and some animals across the river. the lounge area and the pool area were very nice and necessary for the children. Food was excellent and freshly made. The staff is very welcome and friendly. Game drive was nice, despite the rain. KB is very interesting and knows a lot. perhaps having some poncho could help.
