What an experience! Lapidaria is in an old house, immaculately restored. Our room was enormous with a shower big enough to accommodate a football team, and every modern convenience. Fast check-in by an efficient lady. Short walk to Willowmore's main street, where there are restaurants and shops. Highly recommended.

Lovely people, lovely spacious clean room leading to patio, crisp clean linen, delicious meals, peaceful place, highly recommended. Comfortable bed. Will def be returning. From here its a very short drive to the road leading to Baviaans.

We stayed at Lapidaria for one night driving down to the Western Cape... What a wonderful surprise! The house is lovely, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated and the people are soooo friendly and accommodating! They are also pet-friendly, which is a big bonus. We loved Lapidaria and will definitely be back!

We stayed in the guest house and was highly satisfied. Beautiful and clean. Samantha the manager in the guest house went out of her way to look after us. Rhoda at Kapoet also fantastic to make our stay memorable. We can highly recommend this place.

We traveled from Cape town, and enjoyed the drive through this awesome landscape so much that it was getting almost dark on us . Getting closer to Willowmore we had a call from a friendly lady ,asking if we would like dinner ?Yes please, but what about our Dachshund ? the reply was " agh mevrou, die hondjie is mos bespreek " What a treat after a long day on the road, we could sit down to a home cooked dinner of lamb ,pataats etct .we had to be on the road early again, no problem ....we had a lovely hearty breakfast to suit our time of departure. We will make a point of dropping in to the Kapoet Padstal this year for breakfast . An awesome team

Comfortable, upmarket and affordable accommodation with very friendly staff. Rooms have everything you need...comfortable beds, good quality linen, a small fridge and modern ensuite bathrooms. Hearty breakfast. Congratulations to the owner for creating this gem in the middle of the Karoo.
