This is a relatively new place. You can tell because all the small things they are still improving and that you might not enjoy when you stay here: the ones I find more difficult to deal with were the outside showers, they are too small and there is not a wall to separate the diferent toilet and shower areas so the floor can get really soaked all over the place if someone is taking a shower. The showers themselves are too small and a light breeze can open the curtains (there are some hooks to keep the curtain from moving but they didn't work) so there is the risk of having people nearby see you showering. The small dorm where we stayed had only a sliding door and side panel of the same material with no curtains, so at night the shining of the lights outside entered the room through the entrance, making it a bit difficult to sleep, the same happens in the morning, your sleep might get interrupted by the brightness of the daylight outside. I hope they fix all of this stuff soon. For the positive parts, I loved the architecture of the place is very modern and unique (the whole place is made of big metal containers) but what really makes your stay outstanding is the general manager, Tania. She is really energetic, accommodating and talkative and will make your night unforgetable. She is really a lovely girl and will treat you as a longtime friend, which we loved since we were looking for having a relaxed and laidbak ambiance. The rest of the staff were really helpful too. This is the only reason I gave this a review of 5 points instead of 4. Kudos to the owners for hiring such great employees. Another good point is that the hotel is relatively close to the beach, you only have to walk a little bit. I will definitely go back here and tell my friends about this beautiful place.

I am going to start by saying that this Hostel has a great atmosphere , the manager of the place , Tania , was absolutely fantastic since the first time that she greeted me, she is kind and very outgoing . the hostal is very well constructed with a modern touch , it is a two stories building and has a nice terrace where you can chill and have your beers and relax , they count with a bar area that closes at night and a cefeteria where you can order snacks and breakfast . It is very close to Gigante beach and playa Amarillo . The costs for the room are very affordable and very cozy .

This hostel is brand new, and the put the extra money into things like big comfy beds, and soft sheets. The place is very clean. The dorm rooms without AC have an exhaust fan that works very well, I didn't feel the need for the AC room at all. The staff was very nice and the owner even drove me into Rivas so I could go to the ATM (note the closest ATM is in Rivas). There are several small things that I did not like and one big one. For the small things...there is nowhere when showering to put your things which makes it extremely difficult to get dressed, also it's cold water. The outside is currently all sand (I am hopeful this will change) so there is no way to keep sand out of your room...after 4 days I think I had a small beach going on. The food is acceptable at best but extremely over priced, as are the drinks! I would recommend avoiding eating or drinking there. BIG PROBLEM! I booked a horseback riding tour through the owner of the hostel. He gave me a price of $20 an hour, however during my ride I found out that he paid the guy I was riding with only $5 per hour...which means he earned $15 an hour for doing nothing more than making a phone call! I was FURIOUS! This man ripped off a local all over greed! I HIGHLY recommend you calling Alberto directly to book your horseback riding. His number is 8819-6531, however he only speaks Spanish. He will charge you $10 an hour for a guided tour. He is awesome and I highly recommend him!
