Great little hotel, divided into several buildings. TOP condition, very well maintained and stylish! Breakfast could be a bit more varied, especially the pastries, dinner in the three restaurants (two of which are located outside) is very good in terms of quality and "visually" and really plentiful. Very friendly staff in all areas. There are only a few hotels there that are right on the lake, and this one is one of them. Very dog-friendly atmosphere for well-behaved four-legged friends, but nowhere is there any filth or dirt, just absolute tolerance, including extra blankets, treats and bowls in the rooms and special covers for the seating - the whole thing is really elegant and friendly, so that even people without dogs can't be bothered by it.

The resort is beautifully situated on the Fleesensee, it is quiet, there is a lot of nature all around and some nice golf courses within 5 minutes (by car).
We particularly liked the very friendly staff everywhere, which has to be highlighted in view of many less pleasant experiences. This applies to both the restaurants and the breakfast staff and reception. There is a good breakfast, almost nothing is pre-packaged, lots of fresh things like yogurt, fruit, muesli etc. Fresh egg dishes are delivered on request.
Evening meals are also served in the same nice, friendly rooms. The menu has some unusual dishes to offer, the fish was very well prepared, small special requests were fulfilled. Good wine list, even if the selection of wineries was not entirely understandable. Food and wine are rather expensive, but the quality is also good. In the neighboring town, the resort has a slightly Italian-inspired restaurant, the setting is also very nice there, the ambience bright and pleasant. Unfortunately, the terrace cannot keep up. There is a cheaper selection of food there, but also well prepared. Wine list comparable to the main restaurant.
There is a spa that seems appropriate for the size of the resort, nothing overwhelming, but OK. The resort has parking spaces allocated to the rooms.
The rooms (in our case a living room with kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom) just about live up to the resort promise. We had a lovely view of the lake, you could sit on the balcony and watch the birds and the lake. The apartment itself will definitely need an "update" soon.
The bathroom has only limited charm, the colors of the apartment are a matter of taste. This does not apply to stains (e.g. from slain mosquitoes) and sometimes not to towels or bathrobes that need replacing. All of this is no drama, but for the price.... The kitchenette is OK, everything is there and therefore a bit big for the apartment, especially the style is more 90s. To our delight, there is no carpet in the apartment, the wicker furniture is appropriate, like many things it is bright and friendly. There is a fireplace.
The bedroom is OK, the bed is wide enough (1.80), but there is a risk of hitting your head on the sloping ceiling. Only the architect probably knows why there are no sockets by the bed.

Since dogs are allowed, there may be a little barking.

All in all, you can spend a long weekend in the area and in the resort.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Spa and Resort Hotel Fleesensee and it was a true haven of relaxation. The hotel offers not only high-class amenities, but also an experience unparalleled.

Service: The service here was outstanding. The staff were always attentive and dedicated without ever feeling a hint of stress or hassle. Every wish was promptly fulfilled, and the kindness of the staff was instrumental in ensuring an unforgettable stay.

Culinary experience: The food at the hotel was just delicious. Each meal was a treat for the senses, and the variety of culinary options left nothing to be desired. The quality of the food was first class, and it was truly a treat.

Recreational offer The spa was a real gem. Pure relaxation awaited me in an environment that radiated calm and serenity. The treatments and facilities offered were of the highest quality and helped to forget every stress of everyday life.

Perfect for families and business travelers: The hotel offers not only an ideal retreat for business travelers, but also a perfect environment for family reunions. The combination of thoughtful business amenities and family-friendly activities makes this hotel an enticing destination for any occasion.

Conclusion: Fleesensee Spa and Resort Hotel is a real gem that offers unforgettable experiences for every guest. From the first-class cuisine to the outstanding service to the perfect recreation opportunity - nothing remains unfulfilled. I highly recommend this place and am already looking forward to my next stay.

There were four of us (2 couples) in the Fleesensee resort. When we arrived, it was a bit strange that there was no opportunity to have a coffee (only possible from 2 p.m. or 2.30 p.m.) On closer inspection, the resort was more reminiscent of a holiday home complex with an external sauna on the other side of the street. Clean but very small pool. Treatments only by prior arrangement and only possible at certain times - no infusions; at least there is a bucket of water and infusion agent for self-infusion. The sunbathing areas under the roof are difficult or even impossible to reach for someone with walking difficulties. The cushions are rock hard and not at all inviting. The apartment as listed above is more like a holiday apartment and is furnished in the same way. The sanitary area has the austere charm of the 70s and looks like it. In general, a certain feel-good moment cannot be achieved. Much of it is simply of mediocre to poor quality - bathrobes, furnishings, mattresses, etc. For the first evening we had booked a restaurant which is located on the property. The reception was very nice, as was the service. Unfortunately, the food couldn't keep up with the quality, served on cold plates - so it was a bit cold and carelessly presented and the taste was nothing special. As soon as we arrived, we noticed a few dog owners with their four-legged friends. When we looked at the website again, this is also advertised... hmmm, wellness, peace and relaxation - rather than being woken up several times by dogs barking during the night, we sneaked to breakfast the next morning. This made our already not so good mood sink even further - packaged sausage and cheese with bread rolls to bake from the wholesaler, rock-hard cold eggs, a rather limited selection of fruit and vegetables, etc., everything very nicely and unimaginatively prepared. We cannot and do not want to understand these many positive reviews. Perhaps there was a change of management or owner?? All in all, we were very dissatisfied and will tell the management personally. The four of us paid well over €2000, this location was worth at most a fraction of that amount.

No sign of wellness or relaxation. The so-called bathhouse consists of a mini pool and a beautiful outdoor sauna. Unfortunately, you have to make the infusion yourself or another guest will take pity on you. There is no inviting sleeping or relaxation area. To get drinks, you have to call the bar and hope that someone is there. The room/apartment is not worthy of a resort, especially not in this price range. Luckily, we only visited the restaurant for breakfast, but that only annoyed us.
The quality is simply poor and not recommended. There are higher quality alternatives in the immediate vicinity that keep their promises. I definitely won't be going back.

We were recommended this small and fine hotel, we followed the recommendation and, after a wonderful stay, went home very satisfied. The suites are comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view from our suite (Seegucker Suite) directly onto the Fleesensee was, as promised, wonderfully relaxing. The massages were excellent and the sauna area was lovingly decorated. The stay there is worth the money.
The food in one of the two restaurants is also highly recommended and the staff are super friendly and helpful.
Although the price of the overnight stay is already in the upper range, everything there is worth the price. I recommend this hotel without reservation.

We were allowed to spend 1 week at the Beachhouse - a beautifully designed, modern bungalow without any steps, a private garden and front row to the lake. Perfect for a relaxing holiday for us and our older bitch. You won't find anything like this a second time in Germany! In combination with the hotel's offers, the whole thing is incomparable! The atmosphere at breakfast and dinner in the "Hofwirtschaft" (about 200 m away) is soooo pleasant - thanks to the very competent and always warmly attentive staff. The food: 1 A! Definitely worth the price. Simply a feel-good hotel, but with the luxury of your own private cottage. The bathhouse with the spa we unfortunately did not use at all - next time! Likewise the cleverly placed outdoor hot tub or sauna. So we have to come back :)! The bad weather, which is normal in October / November, did not matter. You just feel comfortable and secure in the Beachhouse. Thanks to the whole team!

Hello everyone!

The facility in general is great!
The spa area is great!
Treatment/massage is great!
Breakfast is plentiful and excellent! Tables with white tablecloths, classy and beautiful.
Staff very friendly and the cleanliness in the suite is very good.

Somewhat disappointed with the food in the Hofwirtschaft! We had booked a table at 6:30 p.m.
Then we ordered food, which was to be the crowning glory!!!!
The menu is very promising.
Instead of 1x game goulash and 1x saddle of venison, we got 2x saddle of venison.
At the beginning, however, there was only one steak knife for the saddle of venison, which was more like a venison steak.
I had the beef cheeks, the food was good.
The saddle of venison was sharp but still really bloody/raw on the inside. Leftovers from the saddle of venison were returned!
The game goulash was delivered later.
The pieces of meat were too big and there were two duchess potatoes included.
In this price range, our expectations were disappointed in this regard.
The meal was only paid for in part!

We were back at the Fleesensee Resort with our dog after a long time.
The complex is beautifully located and the apartments have a beautiful view of the lake.

But we missed the original charm of Goethe and Schiller.

There were two small dog bowls in the apartment and they were completely unsuitable for our big furry friend. A styleless fleece blanket rounded off the not so nice reception for the four-legged friend corner. There used to be a beautiful dog blanket by David Fussenecker with the print "my best friend" on it, which just matched the country house style. The sofas no longer have the same country house style character as before.
The sideboards with the lanterns were still in the hallways of the apartments. However, these were no longer lit by the staff at dusk, and this special charm has unfortunately been lost. Unfortunately, there were only battery-operated candles in the lanterns, which had no batteries, so you didn't have the chance to light them yourself.

The breakfast buffet was OK, but it depended on what time you came. If you arrived early you had the choice, but if you arrived a little later the items that were already sold out were gone and no more were refilled.

On the second morning the staff did not respond in a friendly manner to our choice of table because the table was not set. The table was then quickly set with the comment that the dog would be better placed there.

In short, we were missing the "icing on the cake" that was present in the house during the times of Schiller and Goethe.

We were completely satisfied with this hotel.
Starting with our very spacious room with terrace and lake view, breakfast buffet with lots of choice, dinner in the hotel's own restaurant "Hofwirtschaft" was good.
The service in all areas was very friendly, attentive and helpful.
As we had very nice weather, we were able to enjoy our drinks every day in the afternoon at the "Seewirtschaft" stand. It's right next to the hotel.
We didn't use the spa area.
What you should know is that this is a designated dog hotel.
Highly recommended!
