We particularly liked the very friendly staff everywhere, which has to be highlighted in view of many less pleasant experiences. This applies to both the restaurants and the breakfast staff and reception. There is a good breakfast, almost nothing is pre-packaged, lots of fresh things like yogurt, fruit, muesli etc. Fresh egg dishes are delivered on request.
Evening meals are also served in the same nice, friendly rooms. The menu has some unusual dishes to offer, the fish was very well prepared, small special requests were fulfilled. Good wine list, even if the selection of wineries was not entirely understandable. Food and wine are rather expensive, but the quality is also good. In the neighboring town, the resort has a slightly Italian-inspired restaurant, the setting is also very nice there, the ambience bright and pleasant. Unfortunately, the terrace cannot keep up. There is a cheaper selection of food there, but also well prepared. Wine list comparable to the main restaurant.
There is a spa that seems appropriate for the size of the resort, nothing overwhelming, but OK. The resort has parking spaces allocated to the rooms.
The rooms (in our case a living room with kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom) just about live up to the resort promise. We had a lovely view of the lake, you could sit on the balcony and watch the birds and the lake. The apartment itself will definitely need an "update" soon.
The bathroom has only limited charm, the colors of the apartment are a matter of taste. This does not apply to stains (e.g. from slain mosquitoes) and sometimes not to towels or bathrobes that need replacing. All of this is no drama, but for the price.... The kitchenette is OK, everything is there and therefore a bit big for the apartment, especially the style is more 90s. To our delight, there is no carpet in the apartment, the wicker furniture is appropriate, like many things it is bright and friendly. There is a fireplace.
The bedroom is OK, the bed is wide enough (1.80), but there is a risk of hitting your head on the sloping ceiling. Only the architect probably knows why there are no sockets by the bed.
Since dogs are allowed, there may be a little barking.
All in all, you can spend a long weekend in the area and in the resort.

Service: The service here was outstanding. The staff were always attentive and dedicated without ever feeling a hint of stress or hassle. Every wish was promptly fulfilled, and the kindness of the staff was instrumental in ensuring an unforgettable stay.
Culinary experience: The food at the hotel was just delicious. Each meal was a treat for the senses, and the variety of culinary options left nothing to be desired. The quality of the food was first class, and it was truly a treat.
Recreational offer The spa was a real gem. Pure relaxation awaited me in an environment that radiated calm and serenity. The treatments and facilities offered were of the highest quality and helped to forget every stress of everyday life.
Perfect for families and business travelers: The hotel offers not only an ideal retreat for business travelers, but also a perfect environment for family reunions. The combination of thoughtful business amenities and family-friendly activities makes this hotel an enticing destination for any occasion.
Conclusion: Fleesensee Spa and Resort Hotel is a real gem that offers unforgettable experiences for every guest. From the first-class cuisine to the outstanding service to the perfect recreation opportunity - nothing remains unfulfilled. I highly recommend this place and am already looking forward to my next stay.

The quality is simply poor and not recommended. There are higher quality alternatives in the immediate vicinity that keep their promises. I definitely won't be going back.

The food in one of the two restaurants is also highly recommended and the staff are super friendly and helpful.
Although the price of the overnight stay is already in the upper range, everything there is worth the price. I recommend this hotel without reservation.

The facility in general is great!
The spa area is great!
Treatment/massage is great!
Breakfast is plentiful and excellent! Tables with white tablecloths, classy and beautiful.
Staff very friendly and the cleanliness in the suite is very good.
Somewhat disappointed with the food in the Hofwirtschaft! We had booked a table at 6:30 p.m.
Then we ordered food, which was to be the crowning glory!!!!
The menu is very promising.
Instead of 1x game goulash and 1x saddle of venison, we got 2x saddle of venison.
At the beginning, however, there was only one steak knife for the saddle of venison, which was more like a venison steak.
I had the beef cheeks, the food was good.
The saddle of venison was sharp but still really bloody/raw on the inside. Leftovers from the saddle of venison were returned!
The game goulash was delivered later.
The pieces of meat were too big and there were two duchess potatoes included.
In this price range, our expectations were disappointed in this regard.
The meal was only paid for in part!

The complex is beautifully located and the apartments have a beautiful view of the lake.
But we missed the original charm of Goethe and Schiller.
There were two small dog bowls in the apartment and they were completely unsuitable for our big furry friend. A styleless fleece blanket rounded off the not so nice reception for the four-legged friend corner. There used to be a beautiful dog blanket by David Fussenecker with the print "my best friend" on it, which just matched the country house style. The sofas no longer have the same country house style character as before.
The sideboards with the lanterns were still in the hallways of the apartments. However, these were no longer lit by the staff at dusk, and this special charm has unfortunately been lost. Unfortunately, there were only battery-operated candles in the lanterns, which had no batteries, so you didn't have the chance to light them yourself.
The breakfast buffet was OK, but it depended on what time you came. If you arrived early you had the choice, but if you arrived a little later the items that were already sold out were gone and no more were refilled.
On the second morning the staff did not respond in a friendly manner to our choice of table because the table was not set. The table was then quickly set with the comment that the dog would be better placed there.
In short, we were missing the "icing on the cake" that was present in the house during the times of Schiller and Goethe.

Starting with our very spacious room with terrace and lake view, breakfast buffet with lots of choice, dinner in the hotel's own restaurant "Hofwirtschaft" was good.
The service in all areas was very friendly, attentive and helpful.
As we had very nice weather, we were able to enjoy our drinks every day in the afternoon at the "Seewirtschaft" stand. It's right next to the hotel.
We didn't use the spa area.
What you should know is that this is a designated dog hotel.
Highly recommended!
