Quite a place! A beautiful chalet above San Bernardo village (if you come with a larger SUV, getting there might require some skill ;) Friendly and helpful owners will make your stay exceptional, eventhough they speak only Italian; sometimes their son comes to help with conversations. Well... we have got a smaller room, not the one in the pictures, not the one we booked; the floor in the room might have been tidier; the wifi connection might work better, but all in all, it is a great place! Worth visiting!

Beautifly restored old barn. Very clean. The host is very kind. Our room was a cozy queen, but an extra bed was added for our son. We stayed as a base to explore Stelvio. The hiking in Val di Rabbi was wonderful. I enjoyed it more than what we saw in Val di Peio, which was just 20 min away.

We chose this lovely B&B based on TA reviews, and they were all accurate. The setting is pristine and beautiful (though difficult to find), and the rooms were well-done and comfortable. All of the reviewers said what a pleasure it was to talk with Daniela and her family - but we don't speak any Italian, and we only spoke very briefly with one son when we couldn't find the B&B, and never saw him again. One of the points of being in a place like this is to immerse oneself in local culture, but not even one word of English, like the word "key"? I would think it's kind of basic. If you like hiking, nature, quiet, this is the perfect spot and good value. Just a bit disappointed we didn't have the ability to converse at all with any owner. I think it would have added even more to a great experience.

We spent here 2 nights in early June 2014 . Daniela and her son Mateo were very welcoming and warm. We felt like at home with close family. The apartment we got was so beautiful and comfortable with great views of mountains and the valley. Breakfast is also outstanding . Location is great high above the valley with flowers in the middows . We wish we could stay there more than 2 nights. We would definitely return when we are coming to this part of Italy again. We spent 4 fantastic nights in this very very nice little B&B. Totally renovated from a previous stable into a luxary yet cosy B&B. It has been renovated with a lot of love and exquisit craftmanship. Very beautifully located in a steep mountain vally with a breathtaking view. Walking distance from the litle town of San Bernardo with some nice restaurants. Everything was good ! During the night, with the window open, you could hear the soothing sound from the small stream running close to the hotel and the bells from the cows in a distance. Very relaxing and "alpine".
