First of all my verbal booking on the phone did not go through and haven't been respected when I arrived. For the expensive price, the place is not worth it is popular for western tourists so I guess price doe snot matter. I was given a turned towel. They should not do that. They should know which towels are good and not. I had to move around every next day from room to room. Staff is snobbish and friendly and initial look on their face is where is this guy from? Very difficult to convince and talk through. If I had taken bit relaxed way, I would be on the street the day I arrived. Coz they are interested on helping even though they screwed with my reservation. The breakfast is pathetic is small. The fruit portions is literally few pieces of small fruits. It is provided in the cafe with the same name but need to show a voucher form the reception. Clearly the same breakfast ordered from the menu by paying that price is decent in portion but same breakfast included in room is very small in portion. Of course they want to make money on the breakfasts. Good luck to them! Wifi will very patchy and in the single room which is way far from the reception, it does not work. Coz the price of single room is less so they don't care to provide wifi there. Good!!!…
We were looking for a good mid-point to stop on our drive west from Dar es Salaam and knew we wanted to stay in Iringa so that we could see the sites and visit the Neema Crafts workshop. We were thrilled to see that Neema managed their own guest house and had a family room which made it an easy, affordable, safe and comfortable pit stop. The rooms were simple, clean and well maintained. We had a lovely breakfast in the Neema Cafe and did tons of shopping in the beautiful shop. We enjoyed the tour of the workshop and meeting some of the staff, and learned so much about the great work they are doing with the dis-and differently abled. A great experience all around and highly recommended.
We loved the project that gives people a chance, who have not so an easy life. Thank you for that. The food in the restaurant and the service are very nice. The hotel is ok and clean. The breakfast with only a cinnamon roll was too less and too sugary for us.
Simple and clean rooms for a decent price. More expensive than local hotels, but comes with some extra comfort and you support their NGO. We had the family room, it was about 60k including breakfast. Restaurant is great, most of the staff is deaf but the service is actually way above average. Also good for coffee
the guesthouse accommodation is simple and functional but that's all we needed. It was clean and the room was really spacious. Be aware the rooms are clairaudient. The diner "hasty tasty" is in walking distance if you need something for dinner and the breakfast in the in-house cafe is really nice. we loved its atmosphere. If you need to plan further steps you need to know that wifi quality is not very good at the room but in the hall it is okay.
