We stayed a week in the villa on the beach, it was very relaxing. The villa is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need on a self-catering holiday. The staff was friendly and our villa was cleaned daily. The market with local fresh food is just opposite the gate, and fresh seafood can be purchased on the beach.

We were supposed to celebrate my wife's bday .I was expecting cofmoratable and carefree stay . Unfortunatelly because of faulty equipmenment , constant power cuts ( no generator) and sloppy staff happened the opposite, a great discomfort especially for my two young daughters of 7 and 5. I can write so much more and go into details about how we celebrated with a warm champagne , the faulty shower ( they gave us pliers , since the switch was broken we had to use pliers ) , staff bringing another fridge at 10pm , about the carpenter working the whole afternoon from inside our bedroom on the folowing day trying to fix the bathroom window , the mosquito nets not closing properly , changing bedsheets only after the 4th day , the brown towels that need to be thrown away.....and more and more . In general the place looks like has been abandoned , no investment made in the last couple of years ,no renovations at all . I made many complaints with the receptionist , althought the hotel can never compensate ruining my wife's bday party , I thought naively the least they can do is to give us one more day free of charge , since it took one day to fix what should have been in order before our check in, we had staff invading our privacy constantly moving and fixing stuff around. (the shower was never fixed though). Needless to say , not that we were not compensated in any way , but the manager of the place did not have the moral to show his face and speak personally with us for the five days we were there .

The resort is good, very well located right in the beach and has an awesome pool. It doesn´t have a restaurant or bar but is located close to some good restaurants within walking distance. The houses are big enough, with an wonderful view over the lagoon and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need. I like the beds, are comfortable enough. Points of improvement are the check-in process and the professionalism of some of the staff members. The check-in process is very slow and some members of the staff lack professionalism. Nothing major but can be improved. The houses are cleaned on a daily basis but unfortunately we found some cockroaches in one of the rooms. I stayed in this resort before and didn´t have this problem, so maybe the houses need a disinfestation.

I found the lodge comfortable and very welcoming. I will certainly come more often! There is nothing else to mention that will make up the missing characters, guess this requirement should not determine the validity of the comments or review. Thank you.

A reasonably well run resort but in a noisy part of Bilene with quad bikes racing along the road all day. Directly on the lagoon, offering very comfortable accommodation including aircon and a pristine pool, this holiday was a positive first-time trip to Mozambique.

I could not have asked to stay at any other better place than this. Everything was amazing and perfect. We loved our trip, the staff is amazing and yeah, we had fun. The place is clean, the beach is clean, the pool was amazing, my girls enjoyed the amazing views and the lodge had a boat that took us over the otherside of the lagoon. We will def stay again

This place is great value for money, great location right by the beach and easy to get around the market and dancing spots. I went with my girlfriends for one of the girls 30th, there's plenty to do. You can organise your activities through the lodge which takes the stress off.

Lovely resort on the lagoon with views to die for. Park your car and forget about it, everything is a short walk away. Prompt and courteous staff and management. A real gem for the whole family. The pool is exquisite with some meeting blocks seats. Nice to chill and lazy in. Close to every imaginable place in Bilene, from restaurants to the market, very central. The complimentary boat ride(weather permitting) is a MUST, just take comfortable strapped sandals. The sand is HOT, but it’s worth it. A welcoming coffee/tea would be a nice gesture
