Had a wonderful stay here with a group of travellers, we shared the little duo huts which we ideal, had mosquito nets and all the essentials. The pool is perfect to dip into after a long day in the sun. The food is also wonderful in the restaurant.

Misleading photos on booking.com - it only shows you the fancy modern huts and not the double room fan ones which I thought was very misleading. The staff wasn’t so friendly and welcoming to start of with. There was no hot/warm water. The bathroom was practically outside which was connected to the room. I had a bad experience staying here and wasn’t comfortable at all. The first night I attempted to shower and there was a big cockroach and lizard in the bathroom which freaked me out to the point I didn’t shower. The bed wasn’t comfortable, it has a mosquito net but the two nights we stayed, there was some sort of cricket insect in the room which was making noise the whole night when attempting to sleep. We also had a small issue of them doing our laundry (couldn't find our clothes at first, then said it will be ready for the next day and not the time that was promised.) If you don’t mind insects and a small space then this place is fine as the location is good. We ended up changing hotels.

The rooms are nothing like they show on booking.com! They are budget but filthy and water stone cold, there are monkeys and chickens all around which are great keeping you up at early hours! The staff are friendly and breakfast was nice. If you’re looking for typical Thai digs then this is your place.

I appreciate that it's not everyone's taste but as a solo traveller I loved this place. Comfy bigger than double bed, mozzy net and a hammock on the porch. It is basic so if you are after luxury then probably not for you. You get woken up by chickens, there was no ac but a fan which was more than adequate, cold water showers and a pail flush toilet. Everything was clean and they had attentive staff.

I cannot recommend this hostel enough, we are very picky and a bit weary having booked it but boy oh boy what a hidden Gem that does not get enough credit. The smile by the young owners and welcome we had was a lovely touch, we stayed in a beautiful deluxe cottage in the woods like a tree house with a roof top terrace that overlooked the sea, despite the next door hostel having loud music until.1am it really did not.effect us. The cottages were spotlessly clean huge bathrooms, we cannot praise it enough and best of all the little french bulldog the owner have is a sweetie just wanted to take him home. Breakfast was the best yet, despite having stayed in 4star resorts the breakfast here did beat them all. This place is a hidden gem.of Railay and not to be overlooked, had we have known what we do now we wouldnt have moved to.a resort which was awful, we would have stayed on here.
