We have been twice and just booked to go back for 5 nights over Christmas. Cass, Ty and Brett are the most wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The kitchen and wait staff are just fantastic too. We travelled with our toddler and our 4-month old baby and the team made it so easy, nothing was too much for them (how many restaurants go out of their way to warm baby food without asking any questions!) The breakfast is delicious, as well as the rest of the menu (best burgers in town!) Electric blankets on the bed and crisp white linen make the chalets very comfortable. It's kids heaven, from the zip line to the water slide and now the riverside hot tub, our toddler asked if we can go there every weekend. We spent the days lazing in the sun on the blankets…

The scenery is amazing and it is such a lovely spot for activities and team-building. Specific mention to the kitchen staff- WOW, amazing food & baked goods-;super accommodating towards special dietary requirements and requests. We made use of the conference facilities and everything was so well set-up and organized!

If you’ve read my title, you will instantly know how I feel about this stunning place. I treated my boyfriend, who is an avid bass fisherman, to a weekend away. Elgin is well known for their bass fishing so I decided to book a place that would allow us to fish but oh boy, I did not expect what we had in store for us! The venue - stunning, I mean seriously, if you want a great holiday that doesn’t take you hours to travel to, this is your answer. Not only are you situated right by the river but there is an expanse of lush green grass, a bar/restaurant right on the river and wonderful cozy rooms with everything you need on a cold night - heater, electric blankets, a kettle plus tea and coffee. Firstly a huge thanks to Brett, who made us feel welcome, made a plan to get a loaner rod and reel for my son, who then received expert instruction from Brett and 5 minutes later had a fish on the line... Awesome! From the crisp white sheets, electric blankets, down duvets, stunning views, canoeing, swimming, wood fired pizza and delicious burgers that rival the best we've ever had, the log fired heated infinity pool next to the river Bank to the welcoming visits from Isabel and the other members of the canine PR team, we loved every minute. Thanks Brett, Cass, Tye and your team. See you soon.
