Safari Travelodge accommodation consists of twenty air-conditioned rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms can definitely be described as rustic luxury, rustic luxury but comfortable. The fact that a lot of emphasis is placed on the ease and comfort of our guests is evident from the fact that each room has its own private entrance, covered parking, a bar fridge, TV with DStv and coffee/tea facilities. We want our guests to get the room that suits them the best. So please take the time to go through our room descriptions to avoid disappointment. We strive to have all our guests leave with a smile. We believe in a honest approach with our guests and that is why we have separate categories for our rooms. Safari Travelodge's discreetly elegant function venue is one of the most popular places for small functions due to the fact that catering and décor are included in the packages offered. The air-conditioned conference venue can accommodate up to 80 delegates and is also equipped with a backup power generator.

This is an unassuming stop over for a night while en route. It's in a safe part of Kuruman, a little out of the daily bustle, but close enough for a quick drive to the eye. The rooms are basic, but clean and functional with good air-conditioning (useful in winter). Breakfast was nice. Can easily recommend.

Although it was only our 2nd night of a week long sleep-overs, we found it to be the jewel of this marvellous little town. Although the lodge is situated next to a somewhat busy road, the peace and tranquillity could not be surpassed by any of our other lodgings along the way. The room was perfect, the bed exactly to our liking, sparkling clean and refreshing and all a walking distance to dining was an absolute winner! Definitely worth staying more than one night -Well done to staff and management !

Peaceful, Clean and acceptable. A good choice for a stop over. Breakfast tasty and affordable. Nothing to complain about and will recommend it. Was a bit early but they were very accommodating. Thank you

The lodge accommodates contract workers working on the mines. They are a bunch of unconsiderable people that raise thier voices from as early as 4am. To even worsen the situation is that thier cars are equiped with reverse hooters. These they allow to hoot for at least 3 minutes long.
There is no way that you can go back to sleep.
Another concern is that there is no gate at the entrance. Seeing that Kuruman is infested with crime you would appreciate at least a gate and even better a security gaurd.

Good day Andre. Thank for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the discomfort you had during your stay. We have spoken with the guests you mentioned and their cooperation in the matter has been noted. We will definitely consider your other suggestions strongly. Since we are not near the CBD of Kuruman we have luckily never really had any problems, but still your suggestion would give one some peace of mind. We hope to see you again one day and leaving with a smile :). Kind regards Jac

Rooms are clean but setting not ideal with no swimming pool or restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Pictures on the web and reality not the same.

Won’t recommend it.

Don’t make Kuruman a destination in general.

Good day Wessel We are very sorry you did not enjoy your stay as you should have. I would just like to ask which pictures you are referring to? If there are any pictures online that show anything that is not as it is currently we would like to remove it. I am sorry if there was any confusion, but we do not advertise a restaurant or swimming pool anywhere. We do however serve breakfast. Kind regards Jac

It is excellent accommodation. Comfortable, neat, clean. Everything was working perfectly. I have 2 small suggestions to make the experience 100%. Firstly please replace the plastic little scoops with teaspoons and cremora tastes bad in tea. Please provide milk for that.

We arrived late in the evening after a long days ride from Loeriesfontein via Springbok. But we had a really good nights rest at Safari Travelodge. The reception was helpful and friendly, and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, and can recommend it. We didn't have the breakfast option, but rather hit the road early.

We stayed for one night on our way home from the west. Lovely spacious room, working aircon and TV. Quiet and off the main route. Good value for an overnight stay. Restaurant is not operational though, and we had to find dinner in town, which wasn't too difficult.
