It is only a pleasure for me to rate our stay at Red Sands Country Lodge. From the very start the interaction was pleasant and we were not even forced to stay a minimum of two nights. Fortunately we did! The Lodge is well looked after and is being maintained constantly. Our chalet was evidently recently revamped with new flooring etc. It was not extravagant but fine. One negative point may be the fact that the single toilet is situated in the single bathroom.

The views are breathtaking and free game drives with your own vehicle are allowed. The camping site looks fine also.

On the second evening we tried out the well established, beautiful, fine restaurant. Ladies and Gentlemen this has to be the best restaurant in the North Cape, if not South Africa. Once again the personnel were friendly, well trained and experienced. Without a fuss, the service was excellent - perfect timing right through and we had the best ever meal all in a relaxed 90 minutes. The prices on the menu were competitive, the variety was great and the 5 of us each ordered something different. All meals were served together, all meals were hot and we still argue who's was the best. The chef most definitely deserves a medal! We shall visit again!

Very clean accommodation. Well situated. Was just there for overnight stop. Would recommend that a tuck shop or restaurant is open over January especially because if you stay overnight you want to order food at the premises and do not want to go into town. But it was communicated in advance that restaurant will be closed

We stayed for one night on route to Namibia through the Kgalagadi. This lodge was a great stopover for our family, we stayed in a 2 bedroom self-catering chalet which was spacious enough for a family of 4, clean, neat and comfortable bedding.
We chose to eat at their restaurant for dinner - I had delicious Karoo lamb chops and breakfast was a hearty good meal before setting off on a long drive.
I would recommend Red Sands Lodge.

We stayed at Red Sands twice in the matter of 10 days. The first stay was a little disappointing in that I do not feel that we got value for money. The first stay was more expensive than the second stay and the room was smaller and not self catering. The second stay 10 days later was awesome and slightly cheaper so I am not sure why or how that worked out. I do not feel that I got value for money on the first stay.
The staff however were awesome and the lunch and breakfast packs were amazing - thank you.

Red Sands Country Lodge is a wonderful place to stay if you are travelling through Kuruman area.
Conveniently located just outside town in a beautiful game reserve, we loved having springbok and scrub hare passing past our chalet and the views/sunsets are wonderful.
The chalets have everything you could need, the beds are very comfortable and it is so relaxing, secure and peaceful.
I highly recommend the dinner at the on site restaurant, good value for money and absolutely delicious.

A good overnight stop on your way to Kgalagadi, but also a place to come and relax for a weekend. Plenty to do and see. The staff is very friendly, from reception to the restaurant. We had a lovely dinner (extra), and the buffet breakfast included in the chalet prices was very nice. The chalet was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable with a great view. The air conditioning was magical. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, and we even received a small carton of fresh milk. I would really recommend staying here.

What a nice surprise our group of 20 people had at Red Sands. Excellent food, spacious and very clean accommodation topped with the most helpful and friendly staff. Even with Level 4 lock down regulations we were treated with excellent take away food delivered to our units.

We arrived at dusk and immediately went for dinner. The excrellent buffet meal had a large variety and was great value for money.
The chalet was spacious, spotless and well appointed and the queen size bed was very comfortable.
The only criticism was that the bathroom was tiny and it was difficult if two people were trying to get ready in the morning. It was however neat and clean, with a fair sized shower.
