Cornie and her staff have done wonders with the new intimate Eatery at the accommodation units. I have been visiting Eldorado for many years and I always feel at home and absolutely taken care of. I will be back

Warm welcome and fast check-in. Anticipating loadshedding our meal orders we're taken for dinner. Rooms are clean and supplies with decent toiletries and have enough power outlets.
Sadly the restaurant lacks the same efficiency. Food still took long despite ordering in advance. Steak was not seasoned or prepared correctly and breakfast was quite limited and a bit of a let down.
For staying and self catering this place is stunning, but best avoid the restaurant.

4 star- mid range lodge with gorgeous garden and decent room and essential a/c working. Food not great and dirty pool. No toiletries.
But do take the evening tour around their “farm” to see the wildlife that have been rescued. Good chance to see big cats close up.

I had made bookings for a two night stay and ended up being only one due to the terrible service and racism. On thursday I was called to confirm if I was still coming per my bookings which I did together with the time of arrival. Upon arrival on the friday the rooms weren't cleaned yet and was made to wait for more than 2 hrs. I was on my periods and by mistake messed on their bedding first night. Was fined 800 the following day and chucked out of the hotel for that. Even the cleaners confirmed that such accidents always happen but chasing us away was something else. The lady(white manager) was very rude and could see herself that her grounds for chasing us out were very weak and full of racism. We claimed the bedding we had been charged for and it was already washed with no stains to show that they are used to this. Because we went to a wedding at kuruman we left the hotel after day 1 to another hotel but was totally inconvenienced and offended by the treatment. I wouldn't advice anyone to go to that hotel as the same thing can happen to you. She even threatened to call the police, I was really waiting for her to do that because the table were going to turn to her due to her discrimination. I haven have proof of what they have done to us. If they have cameras I'm sure they'll also show how rude they were to us.

Stayed over for a week on business as always had a good stay rooms are very comfortable and clean. Lienkie and her team in the restaurant do their best to make sure you have a great meal and enough to drink the omelettes and breakfast and the baskets are the best!

This hotel has a lot of potential. If management can just open there eyes. I love the concept and location. But I don't think the focus are guest comfort. Had to ask for clean carpet next to the bed and a clear blanket in the room. Does housekeeping not check the rooms before guests book in. Can see dust also in the room. Come management. I know you can do it. Overall not necessarily a bad hotel.

This was day one (or night) on a 2 week trip. Little did we know that it was going to be one of the best nights on our trip. This is a haven after hours in the car. The rooms are clean, the shower is great, the people, service and pub are all tremendous. The chef is amazing. The meals we had were absolutely fabulous. But best of all was the bed. So comfortable and warm. One little grumble was the breakfast where the tables are not set and the staff are not trained properly. Beside that it was a definite if we find ourselves in the area again

A very disappointing restaurant, poor service and terrible food! We were a party of four of which one couple had the Oxtail and said this was OK. My wife and I had the so called fillet steak. It was definitely NOT fillet steak that we were served but rather a flattened piece of tenderised beef marinated in an overpowering Worcestershire sauce taste. The only reason we did not complain or return our food is because we were invited by the other couple in their 80's and he remembered this hotel and restaurant with fond memories. For me, once and never again!

Me and my wife stayed over for the weekend in the cottage rooms, we rreceived great personal service that made us feel a part of the Eldorado Family. The room was spectacular for our needs with a King sized bed and realy clean bedding. The food at the restaurant was also served to us with great service by the waitrons who knew what they were talking about.
