On Google Maps, it seems that the lodge is right outside Kuruman, which is the first lie as it is some 56km from Kuruman.

We arrived to a dirty and empty reception office, and were told to pay a cash key deposit of R500.00, which we were not made aware of prior to our arrival.

The kitchen is not inside the unit and is only partially covered by walls, had it rained, we would not have been able to use this area. There are now bowls or other kitchen items, nor a stove.

There is not a complimentary coffee sachet in sight and there is only cutlery and some crockery items in the unit.

When opening the bed, there were animal feces on the sheets and the entire place is riddled with spiders and other insects.

On the morning of checkout, around 07h30, the reception was again empty and we had to search for someone to hand the keys in.

Were we able to give a lower rating than a 1, we would have.

Completely overpriced and totally underwhelming, with a hint of disgust.

4 star rating -appalling!

Arrived yesterday at around 3 it was our checked in time, we went to our rooms and you could just see dust in the room it was not clean and second the water was not hot, we barthed with cold water.

And the next day we went for a game drive and it didn't end well we were stuck in the middle of nowhere because of the scrap game drive car we were rescued after 1 hour you can imagine🙄and then we went for cocktails and they were already prepared when we got at some hat house on top of the hill, the was no one there and the glasses were not covered and the was flies inside those cocktails and after all those troubles when we complained about the service, we were labeled as rude people and they refused to refund us.

I am so appalled with the service we were given.we booked for 1 night, paid almost R5000 for accommodation. This morning we were treated worse than animals,we were kept there against our will because we had to pay R5000 for 1 Champaign glass,1 normal glass and 1 cup that broke.we had to pay because apparently someone went to swim after 9pm(none of us),we had to pay for the open fire that was made and also for a sliding door dat wasnt maintained and unfortunately when we opened the door it came off its rail.thia morning we ended up paying R6600.the lady refused to open the gate after we paid.screaming and shouting at us,saying we should shut up,saying that we also vote for the ANC and talking about YOU PEOPLE.from 9a.m we struggled to get out of there.we wete threatened with getting locked up,the police and security are on their way.we paid for just the glasses and cup alone R1800.day light robbery.i will never ever recommend anyone to that place or even set foot there myself.we were starving already,we managed to get out at 13:20 after long paying the money.that lady was so rude joh from the beginning with us.it also ended up in a fist fight cause she hit one of the guys in the face with his phone.
Sies .not even dogs are treated that way.i hope that R6600 will make yourl rich shame
