The house was nicely decorated and spacious, but a couple of things were broken (cupboard door, no hand shower even though it has a fitting for one). I also was not sure about the cleanliness as it was clear that it was quickly cleaned. We decided to eat there as well. Food took more than an hour, some toppings of the pizza was not available. The staff in the restaurant were also the same people that booked us in, so I do think they are under staffed. I would rather try another venue next time.

We stayed overnight our 4th stay of 12 stays. Thank you to everyone Rooms were clean, kindly opened the pub so we could buy a few beers on Sunday in the heat. We walked to a local pub for dinner and met friendly locals. Breakfast the next morning was like home. Thanks to farmer Oom Markus from Outshoorn for suggesting Anny's Bistro in Outshoorn what a little gem, food was of top standard with a smile. Barbara Rob and John

We loved everything about this place. The spacious family room with two queen size beds was amazing and so welcoming. The restaurant is tops. Food was excellent. will be back. Not the first time we have stayed here and it won't be the last either. Highly recommend it. For dinner my husband enjoy the Karoo lamb chops. My granddaughter says her pizza was the best ever and I had the Babotie. Delicious.

Our last visit was 2 years ago and it is pleasing to report that this is still an excellent place to stay. Rooms are clean, well equipped (including a fridge), air conditioned. Rates (including substantial breakfast) are very reasonable. A plus is the restaurant on site (remember closed Sundays) serving good country food. Location is quiet. Two large family rooms have been added each having two double beds. Access is now via an electric gate so parking is secure,

We are really slipping Arrived with temp 39. degrees , checked in 15H00 , asked if we can order cold beer , were told till lovked and words to effect too much trouble to unlock.
