Beautiful setting. Friendly service. Good food at a reasonable price. Some very interesting menu offerings. My portion was a bit on the small side though. The burgers looked very good Selection of local wines. Definitely worth a visit especially for Sunday lunch.

My son and I spent the weekend at this little piece of heaven and there is something unequivocally magical about this place. The owner and staff are warm, welcoming and the service provided is something often sought, yet very rarely found today. You are made to feel right at home by the lovely folk; the sincerity hearts that exudes from each of them should really be bottled. The rooms are spacious yet cosy, comfortable and neat. The food is exquisite, each meal we had was delicious, fresh and very clearly made with love❤ The views are absolutely breathtaking and boasts an air of tranquility in its truest form. It was like stumbling into an oasis; we left feeling completely rejuvenated in spirit, light in heart and so rich, in all the ways that matter most. A true gem, we will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you Winterberg Mountain Inn for accomadating us this weekend and providing us with such a magnificent experience. Long shall we treasure the moments had at your fine establishment.

I have twice stayed over at Winterberg Mountain Inn as a biker on a road trip. First occasion we booked as a planned first night stop of a 6 day trip, and the second occasion we dropped in unannounced because of foul whether en route to the Cederberg. Both times we were warmly welcomed into unpretentious, but clean and comfortable cottages. A bar with a log fire offers relaxation space, and a simple menu offers hearty food. Good value!

Carien, Frans, Admire, Teddy and the Kitchen staff bent over backwards to accommodate our conferencing needs and requirements. Frans definitely needs to get to some singing contest, the guys can sing and has a great personality. They even catered for my special diet requirement. They were always friendly and helpful even if something was wrong it was fixed as soon as possible. I highly recommend them for their food, accommodation and their conferencing facilitation.
