$190 a night (without tax and without parking) will get you a clean, small, no-frills rooms in a fine location. Expect little to no service due to COVID. Breakfast is provided in a plastic box and consists of pastries, a yogurt, a hard boiled egg, a fruit and an orange juice. AC unit was extremely loud and kept waking me up the first night. I'm sure this place has seen brighter days pre-COVID but I'll try something different next time.

Hotel underground parking level 4B is equipped with 2 electric car chargers (J1772 connectors 6kw). Parking ramps are a bit tight so drive carefully. Tesla model S is a wide car and made it in so smaller cars should have no problem. Hotel waives parking fee of $20/day for electric cars. Hotel location is steps from Old Quebec. Streets in front of hotel are closed off for walking and many restaurants line both sides of streets. Our room was a bit small. Since we were out most of the day sightseeing so it was ok. We booked 3 nights. Due to Covid, hotel does not clean the room but provides clean towels upon request.

Booked over Thanksgiving weekend and Quebec was packed with tourists. This hotel is located right by the Museum Citadelle and walking distance to lots of restaurants and other sites.
Room was a good size for a family of 4, bathroom had the necessary toiletries of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, hand soap and hair dryer.
St. Hubert was on site, no breakfast ordered. Valet service was quick and friendly, so was front desk and fast check in.

This hotel would have been an ok choice if it was somewhere in Eastern Europe sometime 10 years ago, both subpar room interior design and lacking services wise. But it just doesn’t cut it in 2020. WiFi that drops to 100-ish KB an hour? Are you joking? You can’t even stream music! And there is no option to upgrade. The restaurants around hotel are not bad but far from outstanding and in snowstorm when you can’t even get out on street the only choice is hotel’s restaurant that is actually not terrible but the breakfast in it is not stellar to put it mildly. Also, big problem - this city is not like Toronto or Montreal where there are plenty of options to go underground and avoid bad weather. There is no underground here. And even restaurants that share same block and are literally wall to wall to this hotel do not have entrance from hotel. And in winter it’s just ridiculous. This place is not prepared for snowstorm - it’s really a shame, and you can’t even listen to music while you wait for it to clear.

This is the only hotel anywhere in the world that I have stayed at,that does not provide room service over a 5 night stay. We weren't given any information and only found out after day 2 when we ran out of towels. We asked at reception for the room to be made over, only to be told that there is no housekeeping !!!!!. We asked for clean towels and 1 bath towel and one hand towels were left on the bed while we were out. As a couple did they expect us to share the towels ??.Another trip to reception and more towels requested which arrived the following day, the maid didn't even bother to take the dirty towels away. Another request for the maid to come and collect the dirty towels. In any other industry, if the service is not available then the service is usually not open. No driver, then the bus doesn't go, no pilot, the plane doesn't fly, yet this hotel think that they can take customers money and then give next to no service, absolutely disgusting. The hotel itself although well located for the centre of Quebec does not even have a bar, no food service, breakfast is offered in a restaurant next door.I know people are just getting over covid but this place is using covid to offer a sun standard service whilst charging full price for services which aren't even given.I asked for a room with a view either over Grande allee or the museum, the guy checking us in, (Whose first language wasn't English) he said "I no understand" so I gave up and ended up with a dark and dingy room with no view whatsoever. The fridge was constantly buzzing and the ac was too noisy, we had to turn it off.Never again will we stay in this hotel and I advise anybody else to stay away from this place. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, anywhere in the world. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

We stayed at this hotel for a short trip to Quebec City. The location is great with many restaurants just a short walk away. The self parking was super convenient with an elevator which brings you to the first floor. It was easy getting in and out of the parking and many spaces available at the time we went. Yes people complain about the cost and try to find cheaper options but in my opinion it's worth the cost. It was a bit frustrating making your way around this hotel since there are a few different "buildings". The hotel lobby and hallways are renovated. However we were disappointed with the rooms. We booked the contemporary room and it's like walking into the 1990s. Super old and stuffy. Took us a good hour and a few calls to the front desk to get connected to the wifi. It's not written anywhere but you need to open the TV to find the password. Taking a shower was not easy since the shower head was very low and did not adjust higher. Also I was not able to check in earlier (1pm) and had to wait in a long line for check-in at 4pm. Other hotels are more considerate and flexible with guest schedules. I read online + saw advertisement in elevator that when you book directly with the hotel there are "perks". We booked directly with the hotel and did not receive any special additions of treatment.

What a disappointment this hotel was. Our room wasn’t reserved as requested. We reserved a king room and got 2 double beds!
After some arguing with a young, inexperienced Yet pretentious staff, we finally got a king room but had to wait an extra hour in the lobby for it to be prepared...
The room was tiny, the bathtub/shower could use an update.
The bed and pillows were so lumpy.
The tv was hung on the wall with the ground prong sticking out!!
We expected so much more than this.

Not at all a “chateau” type hotel feel!! We will not be back.

Only 2 staff on at check-in with the queue just about out the hotel doors! Cudos to the 2 gentlemen behind the counters who gave everyone the service level that is required/expected at check-in and always with a smile for everyone! Room was as expected in terms of inclusions, it was very clean, quiet, no housekeeping or room service (explained by check-in staff) but if you needed any toiletries/towels etc all you had to do was ask, staff were obliging. Location to the old town was excellent, only a very short walk, lots of restaurants/eateries just around the corner from the hotel. A very pretty area of Quebec City. Would have no hesitation in recommending.

Overall room was ok, but the devil is in the details. They hide behind covid to offer a subpar service. Had to wait in line to checkin for 30+ minutes, they dont offer breakfast as part of the price and you have to call in advance to book it or they wont deliver it to you in the morning so you will have to find another option nearby. Disapppointing for a hotel with such a great location.

The hotel has a very good location, just 10 minutes walk to the center of Old Quebec. 5 minutes to parliament. and you go at the end of December the hotel is right in front of the square where they make the events of the winter festival. the room was very comfortable and we had everything we needed, the room cleaning was daily. We receive discount cards for several restaurants. TV should improve the offer of channels not only in French. The restaurant on the first floor does not have to do with the hotel but I do not recommend room service is terribly bad. The service of all hotel staff is helpful and attentive.

There is, but you have to pay like $20 per day. Unless you plan on going far from the center (Charlesbourg or beyond), the bus is a better option
