Detailed Reviews
We are moving across the country and travelling with pets. This is my first time travelling with our dogs and Sault saint marie welcomed us with open arms. This hotel is extremely pet friendly with waste stations and doggie bags outside in multiple spots. The breakfast was the best Covid friendly continental one we have had to date! I am extremely impressed and will visit again. You will be greeted by a puppy anthem when you walk down the hall but I didn’t hear any when we were in our room. Was a great place to rest our head after a day of travel. I highly recommend hitting Quesada across the street. Their Mexican foods were to die for!

This hotel was perfect for our one night stopover with the dog. The property, hotel and room were all neat and clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was presented in a safe manner (everything was individually wrapped) and offered everything we needed to begin our day.

Stayed on a Friday night so kids running up and down hallway was an issue
No USB ports on desk or bedside tables is inconvenient. Tv is far too small for size of the room
Clean. Staff are very helpful Lots of parking and nearby restaurants Includes a breakfast

Pamela made our check in and check out a pleasure and every inch of the hotel was spotless! Upper rooms are no pets. Great location near restaurants. Breakfast area was restocked promptly and common areas and tables were wiped clean after each guest. This will be our go to place to stay from now on!

Hotel staff was super helpful and friendly. The guy on the desk in the morning had towels ready and offered them to cyclists proactively as dew had fallen overnight, and when we asked for a suggestion to watch a sunset the guy in the evening was spot on with his suggestion. He ensured there was coffee on and showed us where they kept the hot chocolate when we came in chilled. Hotel room was really quiet and clean and we had a very comfortable sleep.

Room Tip:Â Book ahead of time as they often sell out in the summer. No elevator so request a first floor...

I have stayed at a few Super 8's before and this was was by far my favourite. Even though it is right on a very busy main street, it's incredibly quiet due to its placement and being beside
a residential street. The grassy areas beside and behind it were great for my dog and I really appreciated that they had designated garbage buckets for pet waste. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and it had a microwave as well which does not always happen in other hotels. Also bonus points for having a Starbucks next door!
Only things to note - if you are picky about your pillows consider bringing your own in. I found mine were a little too large for my liking. As well, you can hear people moving around above your room if you are ground level so if you are a light sleeper maybe bring ear plugs.
I would 100% stay there again and have already recommended my family stay there when they come through town in October.

+1
Fitted fitted fitted sheets were not used on the mattresses. Regular top sheets were and they were not tucked in properly. There were no mattress protectors and these mattresses were stained. There were no mattress protectors and these mattresses were stained. Hair and dust was found around the base of the toilet and along the bath room floor. The bath mat had black mold blotches on it. Two white styrofoam cups were provided and no plastic cups in the bathroom. No moisturizer toiletries. The pillows were lumpy. No "Do not disturb" was provided.

My 3 night stay was nice. Room was comfortable, and a good size. I requested a quiet room, and was put at the very end of the hallway, and it was very quiet indeed. Wifi worked great. Breakfast was adequate. No meat, protein options were hard boiled eggs and yogurt. Lots of grain options - waffle maker, oatmeal packets, muffins, nutrigrain bars, cereal, toast, bagels, cold French toast and pancake bites. A couple fruit options. Staff were friendly.
Some things I would like to see improved: the cover on the bed is completely unacceptable as a blanket, you really can’t call it a blanket at all. It looked more like a table cloth. It was only on the 2nd night that I located a fleece blanket folded up in a drawer, but was still cold and there was no coziness to the bed. My son was staying in another room at the same time and he actually went and bought a comforter. Imagine going to a hotel and needing to buy your own blanket just to be able to sleep comfortably. Also, the room needed more electrical outlets and in better locations. I had to move the night table and unplug the alarm clock in order to plug in my phone charger. I had to climb under the desk to plug in my laptop. 2 bars of soap (or 1 bar and a soap dispenser by the sink) would’ve been nice so I didn’t have to carry the one bar from the sink (which was outside of the bathroom) into the tub and back again.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights during our recent roadtrip. The lady at the check-in desk was efficient and friendly every time we spoke with her.
We were immediately impressed by the clean, spacious room.
Breakfast was included and offered between 6 am and 9:30 am. We liked the variety (bagels, cereal, french toast, waffles, fruit, yogurt etc) and found it very convenient.
I found soaking in the large jet tub relaxing at the end of each day.
My only complaint about this hotel would be that the bed and pillows are not as comfortable as they could be. My husband joked that the bed sounded like an old pirate ship when we moved. The pillows were a strange square shape; almost like throw pillows. Not great neck support.

Always consistent. This Super 8 in Sault Ste Marie has never let me down in 5 years of experience using this motel for overnight lodging. The rooms are clean and good size. The breakfast satisfies for the road trip ahead. The location is great as well.

It's wyndham not choice !!!
Yes they do. They have only certain rooms that allow pets
Lots of parking room, when I was there, a few large trucks and other vehicles pulling trailers including me. There were a lot of rooms on first floor and no stairs to enter the building from the front or back. I'm not sure about handicap rooms.
