Detailed Reviews
Spent one night here on our way to Winnipeg, read conflicting reviews on this hotel, but decided to try it out. Traveling for essential work with my wife and teenage son we booked a two-bedroom King room in the older tower building. Check in was a breeze with all Covid precautions in place and visible signage everywhere as well plenty of hand sanitizer around the lobby. Desk person was very friendly and gave me all the pertinent guest information to assist us with our stay, parking, elevators, food, etc., and included free breakfast in the morning! Although a bit dated the room was very clean and adequate for our needs for one evening, our son has his own room with TV and we have a TV in our bedroom as well. We decided to try the local Pizza Tecca take away in the hotel on recommendation of the desk clerk. So, we ordered hot wings, pizza Diavolo, Caesar salad, and a Swiss mushroom burger with fries and gravy. Food was amazing, can’t say enough about the pizza and burger! Came very hot and fresh delivered to our room with plates, cutlery and drinks! There were plenty of power plugs throughout the room complete with several usb connectors for everyone to charge up their gear. The sleep was amazing, we stayed at a Hilton property the night before and the bed was crap compared to this place. The shower had lots of hot water in the morning and the shower head was seven feet high which was nice as I am over 6’5” tall so this matters to me! I read in some of the reviews that the location was in a sketchy part of town, although no expert on sketchy I did grow up in Winnipeg so I know a bit about sketchy areas of town this was nowhere near sketchy! There was excellent night lighting around the building which was important as well because we were towing a U-Haul trailer and could see that and our vehicle from our hotel window. Breakfast was some Croissants and yogurt, given Covid rules we didn’t expect anything more and it was quite good anyway! Bottom line is this property is hands down the best hotel in SSM and we would stay here again whenever through town in the future.

What a great review and we are so appreciative of you taking the time to let us know how your stay was. We are so glad to hear you enjoyed the complimentary hot continental breakfast. It is the best way to start the day. Safety and convenience for our guests is very important to us and we do ensure that snow is addressed before our guests have to leave the hotel. It is the North after all. We look forward to your next visit!

I've been to many hotels in Canada, US and Europe, but the staff at Quattro are some of the nicest. They were always smiling and happy to go out of their way to make my stay better. Besides that, the rooms were clean and modern. The onsite restaurant had prices you'd expect from a hotel, but large portions and excellent quality, so you get your money's worth and then some.
As far as location, it's on the main street where most of the large grocery/dept stores are, so if you forgot something chances are you can find it within walking distance. Has good gym and pool too but was closed because of covid. Staff are very aware of health/safety rules and working hard to keep the hotel above standard.
Over all an excellent stay, I hope to be back!

Our family enjoyed staying at this hotel again. The rooms were clean, great maid service and comfortable beds. I love how we can get fresh air into the family suites with small windows that open to help sleep at night. The table and lounge area makes it great for families as very spacious compared to other hotels. I did bring my own utensils and paper plates to use as they only provide a cutting board and tea towels in the kitchen area. Our children were happy the swimming pool was open - it is salt water I think and very enjoyable. I recommend it to anyone.

I stayed at this property for a business trip (my first business trip since 2019). Needless to say I was a little apprehensive to travel again. However, the hotel staff had everything under control from the sterilized pens at check-in, the ample signage and multiple access points to control the number of people in corridors. The room was clean and the tv remote was sanitized and in a sealed bag. I ordered room service and the attendant was very polite and friendly (masked and physically distant).
It was a great stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a property in Sault Ste Marie.

I have travelled through town many times since pandemic travelling to Toronto from the west. I have found the hotel to always be concerned about my welfare and follow and exceed expectations for safety and covid protocol. The staff were all masked and physically distant and the premises and rooms were documented to be thoroughly cleaned. This left me with great comfort and confidence that the hotel was interested in the welfare of their guests who must travel during this harrowing time.

My family and I liked everything about the Quattro Hotel. The staff was very friendly and professional. We stayed in a very spacious room with two queen beds, a large living room, a dining table and chairs, microwave, mini fridge and even a sink. There were also two large dressers and a closet which included an iron and ironing board. The beds were very comfortable and the housekeeping was excellent. The Wi-Fi was free and fast. Breakfast was also free and included such foods like fruits, yogurt, pastry, oatmeal and hardboiled eggs. We also ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was absolutely delicious. Our kids really enjoyed the swimming pool. The hotel had implemented various Covid-19 safety protocols and we felt very safe around the hotel. Our family was even able to use the swimming pool all to ourselves due to the limit on the number of guests in the pool. Our stay also included catering service by the hotel and the catering staff was amazing and really first class. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to many shops, grocery stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay at the Quattro Hotel again and highly recommend it.

We have stayed here many times in the past and are always met with friendly professional service. This is more important than ever during COVID-19 and the extra effort they put into keeping guests safe was evident. At the breakfast area there was extra staff on hand for cleaning and partitions set up around tables to help isolate patrons. The food was as good as ever, but they now use disposable utensils and plates. We’ll definitely return.

Disappointed in several things of this hotel. First it needs a good cleaning. The rug was stained in the room, the bathroom fan had an inch of dust on it, the room had a musty odor and the sheets were all wrinkled and untidy after my room was cleaned. Its great they still offer that service and the bathroom was cleaned very well ( a little bit of black mold beginning in the corners of the shower) and good fresh towels every day. Another person travelling with me had a room that the sheets had not been changed from a previous guest & the cover was stained, They did change them the next day with no apologies and at check out after I mentioned it they gave a $30 credit. Guess clean sheets are only worth $30. The front desk staff never say hello, good morning, have a nice day with 1 exception of a girl working afternoons. They don't even look up from their computer screens as you walk by in the lobby The seem very unhappy. The breakfast is ok with coffee out of a machine that is not very good although the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and nice. We heard the dinner was very good but did not have an opportunity to try it. All in all with some staff training and cleaning they could do much better.

Our room was large and comfortable with a king bed and couch. The bathroom was very nice with a glass door on the shower. Access to the hotel was easy and although the restaurant was closed, we would have certainly gone there for a bite to eat and a drink based on the menus in the room.

They have a Keurig in every room.
Not that I know of, sorry.
Yes, our exercise facility has free weights.
The hot tub is operational. Sundays mornings are cleaning and maintenance so the area is shut down for a brief time.
At many hotels, you are asked to leave a deposit in case of unforeseen cleaning expenses caused by guests who smoke in room or cause undue messes/damages skipping out on the bill. The hotel usually does this via a credit card but if you don't have/use one they will take a cash one. At this hotel I don't know what that amount might be.
