It was a long drive we had and Quality Inn has given us a very comfortable overnite stay during our 3000kms travel break for the night together with my whole family. We occupied a suite with 2 bed and a couch. Highly recommended place to stay, the staff is very accommodating with our very late check-in and early check-out provided with to go breakfast bag

This stay started with top level service and the staff maintained it! When we arrived Carl helped us collect our bikes from the car and store them inside. This was completely unexpected and well appreciated!
Breakfast was given in a paper bag which was a good Covid-19 solution.
We were also given a late checkout when we asked.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely horrible! We booked 2 rooms being 2 adults and 4 kids they couldn't even give us joining rooms and then on top of that the pool was closed and judging by other reviews the pool has been out of service for quite some time and will continue to be! Get your stuff together guys we left within 15 mins of arriving and went to The Water Tower inn much more pleasant experience even when I mentioned the Quailty inn to them they made a gross face. Still waiting for our 606 to be released back on our credit card that they said would come back in 2 days which is today! I'll be making some phone calls if it doesn't.

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for sharing this review with the Trip Advisor community. Sorry to hear however that you did not end up staying with us for two reasons 1.That you were unable to get two interconnecting/adjoining rooms and 2. The pool unfortunately was out for maintenance. I have discussed this with our front desk supervisor and as we do not have many interconnecting rooms and other guests had already requested and reserved them in advance so our front desk team member was unable to comply with your request at check in, however they offered you the next best solutions which was two rooms next to each other . Regarding the pool being out of order, our sincere apologies about that and unfortunately once in a while due to unavoidable situations the pool area does get shut down and this obviously happens in any hotel anywhere, unfortunately this time it was us and again I would like to apologize for the inconvenience this caused you, however we are happy that you were able to find another hotel with a pool in the city and decided to move there. As our professional standards and ethics are extremely high here at Bay Front Quality Inn& Suites , I will not comment on the facial expressions of the other hotel's staff members. As far as the pre authorization on your credit card it takes 3-7 business days to fall off and depended on your financial institution(bank) Our front desk knows that well and inform all guest accordingly. Once again our apologies and if you would like to discuss this matter further please do email me on sunny@qualityinnssm.com or call 705-945-9264 however if you would like me to call you please do let me know that as well and I will be happy to do that. Sincerely, Sunny Naqvi, General Manager Bay Front Quality Inn& Suites

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were extremely friendly, the bedroom was clean and the mattress was perfect. I noticed someone on their review said the elevator was slow but this was definitely not a problem when we were there. The only negative are the bath towels. The bath towels are extremely thin and there were only two of them. The hotel is close to the Agawa Train station and we were able to walk there in about 10 minutes. There is a mall directly across the street and the board walk is minutes away. Breakfast was included and it was alright. There were always eggs, sausages, potatoes, yogurt, juice, and toast (bagels, english muffins or bread).

Stay there for 6 nights for a family of 2. Manager gave me the extended stay rate despite I am not aware of the reduced rate. Cannot find any staff in the establishment that is not nice and helpful. I was upgraded to executive suite on arrival. The in house restaurant was also a plus so we do not need to go out and look for a restaurant if we do not want to.
The printer in the business center was not working during my stay but the reception staff print out everything I needed.
The reason I did not rate a 5 star is due the pandemic related issues such as grab and go breakfast, closed pool and gym. Not their fault and I was fully informed when I booked the stay.

+1
My wife and I stayed 2 nights, checking in at 2PM. A welcoming receptionist checked my ID and prepayment while I filled out an auto form, then received the key cards.
We took our bags up one of the 2 elevators to the top floor.
Room #706 was clean, spacious and carpeted with a comfortable king, easy chair, small refrigerator, micro, coffee maker and a window view of the steel plant. The small bathroom had a tub/shower with quick hot water, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and nice towels. The medium sized TV did not have a satellite guide but clear CBC, CNBC, CNN, CTV, Detroit networks, Global, TSN & many more channels. Excellent secure wifi, ample outlets, good lighting and wall thermostat for AC/heat.
The 6AM lobby breakfast is nicely serviced and complete but very busy at times; OJ, fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, hash browns, cereals(corn flakes/fruit loops-no muesli), waffle maker, muffins, bagels, and regular coffee.
We swam laps in the indoor pool that was overlooked by the 4 station gym.
This motel’s location was perfect to cross to the Station Mall, Agawa Train Station and the riverside boardwalk to the Sault Ste. Marie Canal National Historic Site.

When we booked this hotel for two nights, one on the way to, and one night on the return trip from Thunder Bay, we were told the pool and hot tub were open. When we arrived we learned the pool and other facilities were not available, and the breakfast would consist of a paper bag full of breakfast fare. We had a small king bedded suite at the rear of the building. Very nice with a separate bed area. Later I chanced to meet the general manager of the hotel who could not have been more gracious. He listened with interest while I expressed my disappointment with the lack of swimming facilities, and swiftly put things to rights. We spoke of fishing and family and parted with a smile. His positive attitude and warmth are mirrored in his employees who seem happy to oblige. A rare find in hospitality these days! When we returned on Monday, he made a point of appearing in the lobby to chat. A real professional and simply a nice man who knows his business. We will stay at this hotel whenever we return!

Absolutely no issues with this hotel. Check in was fast and friendly, room was comfortable, well appointed - although no fridge and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good...exact same thing both mornings I was there but scrambled eggs, sausage, homefries plus waffle maker, porridge, toast...etc.
Nice touch having Johnny's Chophouse inside the hotel...will review later but handy for guests. Right across from large Station Mall. Surprised at the excellent price I got.

Every time I come to Sault Ste Marie I book a corner room. They come in different configurations either with Two doubles or a king bed. They are always spacious and quite luxurious . I have tried many hotels in Sault Ste Marie but none of them meet the standard of the Quality inn and suites

I’m not sure but the staff at the front desk are very helpful so I’m certain they could answer your question if you called them
I do not remember there being such a place, maybe call them.
not sure - think I say a dog in the elevator
No, however you can give the front desk your items and it will be in your closet that day.
Sorry, didnt use the pool ,but email the desk and they will tell you.
