We only stayed one night but would go back anytime. Front desk was very considerate and their breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean and freshly renovated. Location is ideal, we were within walking distance of parliament buildings, Rideau canal, etc. If I ever need a home…
We visited Ottawa during this cold January. The Byward Blue was a warm and cozy inn. The rooms are heated electrically, so it was also very quiet. There is original artwork all over the rooms and hallways and even in the staircases. This offers a different environment to a chain…
Husband and I decided to check out the city of Ottawa for a extended long weekend away. We picked the ByWard Blue Inn for it's location and price. We were not disappointed with our stay. We spent two days walking the city and could get to everything we wanted to see plus…
The hotel is close to ByWard Market. There are a lot of restaurants that you can go just walking. I mean, the main atractions of the city is there! The room is clean and good and the reception crew is nice! The hotel has parking spot that is really helpfull.
This is a great little inn . The location is wonderful, surrounded by great foods and sites. More then adaquate breakfast. Well priced. Rooms were cozy and have everything you need. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Loved it.
"My room on 6th floor was completely quiet"
"It's worth paying a little more to get a larger room. The double room is excellent (even if you don't plan to use the other bed!)."
"ask for a room with a terrace or balcony"
"Unless you are a small person, avoid the rooms with two twin beds."
"The room with balcony is big and comfort"
