The Sheraton Fallsview Hotel captivates guests with its enchanting atmosphere and scenic falls views from modern rooms, though some visitors have encountered cleanliness and maintenance concerns. While the prime location is celebrated for its accessibility to attractions, the noise level from elevators and neighboring rooms can be a nuisance.
Service experiences vary, with reports of both attentiveness and sluggishness. Amenities generally impress, yet unexpected fees have led to some dissatisfaction regarding value.

Lovely room but avoid breakfast unless it’s included in the hotel price and even then, don’t expect too much. We stayed here for 2 nights on 1st – 3rd Sept. Being from the UK, we hadn’t realised that it was Labour Day weekend and as a result the hotel and the general area was extremely busy. This however didn’t affect check in and our room was ready when we arrived and was clean, well presented, modern and comfortable. The location of this hotel is great. We parked at the car park on the corner but it is a bit a trek from the car park through the hotel next door. We believe there is a car park attached to the Sheraton but we missed it when driving round. We paid $54CAD (approx. £30 per night). We didn’t have breakfast included in our room rate but to set us up for a busy day ahead we decided to pay for breakfast – we wished we hadn’t ! We waited to be seated, assuming someone was setting our table up, however when we sat down there was nothing on the table. We asked the staff for cutlery it was bought it to us, however it was dirty (as in used and unwashed). When we asked for clean cutlery, the server denied it was dirty but eventually bought us clean ones. We still had to hunt down our own condiments and coffee cups. The breakfast itself was poor, cold and not the amazing choice as depicted by the photos in the elevators. We were stunned when we got the bill and it was 85CAD (approx. £48 !)…Being British we didn’t complain there and then as we were to angry and stunned but did complain to the reception staff on check out who’s only answer was to go back to the restaurant to complain to them in person. We decided against this and took it on our chins but still feel very bitter about this.

Stayed for two nights celebrating adult birthday parties and before I forget, the view on the “Fallsview” side is worth every penny and I included views from our balcony. It’s bit tricky finding the garage entrance but it you reach Clifton Hill you’ve just gone by it. Once in, there’s a small parking area for valet (a must) and the staff quickly gets you in to register. Also, effortless and fast considering it was a Friday around 3pm (Checkin Time).
Entering the room, we were impressed with the open space and immediately taken by the view of the falls and Niagara gorge. As we settled in we noticed a couple of great features. First, the Jacuzzi tub which was great and a rain fall shower with separate hand wand. Later discovered that you could have both during the shower at the same time. The balcony is only 2ft deep, so no seats, but kind of like a stand-up bar, enhancing the view on a great October day.
The room comes with a mini fridge and lots of drawers for storage. The closet was a bit strange with a shelf that left very little room for long dresses or jackets to hang at length. Below the shelf was the safe. Above was the typical wire shelf filled with extra pillows and sheets. Frankly, this arrangement was not the last unusual configuration we noticed.
The bed was first rate as was the lighting and appointment. An electric Fireplace added to the look and with enough controls that allowed us to enjoy as we pleased. Across from the bed was a wide flat screen TV but it was hard to see from the couch area because it was attached to the wall with a fixed frame. Would have been nice to have a swing wall mount bracket allowing easy viewing from the entire room. We also found out that a small table was missing from the couch area which also would have made the room space make sense. The only amenity that was an issue was the use and description of the “Lobby Lounge” Pub. I have included a pic of the web page information and no where does it mention that access it limited to “certain” customers. Also, It is confused with another bar area. We did find the Bar in the Lobby and it was well attended and the service was great. PS we also ate at Massimo’s Italian Fallsview Restaurant in the Hotel and OMG the food, service and view was amazing.
So, to be clear, we had a great stay and do not hesitate to recommend this hotel. There was a Fire Alarm during our stay and it was handled by staff with professional standards and even though it was a false alarm, safety protocols perfectly followed. It is close to pretty much everything and all the fun of Clifton Hill as well as the classic Niagara Falls Parks we remembered growing up.

UK traveller and first time to Niagara Falls. We stayed for 3nts in early December and had read some mixed reviews but can honestly say we had a wonderful experience. Check in was welcoming and swift, no queuing. We were directed to the lifts that took us to our room on the 17th floor. We did not experience any queuing for the lifts. Our room was lovely. We booked a premium falls view and were welcomed with 2 Queen beds, a fridge, digital safe, freeview tv, fireplace, seating area, free water, coffee machine and fast free WiFi. The bathroom was adequately stocked with towels and toiletries and also had a hairdryer and had a whirlpool bath and shower. But what made the room extra special for us was the floor to ceiling windows, Juliet balcony and the view of the falls. Amazing! The Sheraton was also in a great location for all the attractions and amenities of Clifton Hill. The hotel itself had a Starbucks, restaurant, bar and gift shop, but we preferred to sample the local restaurants for breakfast and dinner. We checked out on a Saturday when the hotel was busier, but again this was swift and hassle free, we were not inconvenienced at all during our stay. Overall we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay and won’t forget that view in a hurry! Thank you Sheraton!

Absolutely love this hotel. Location is fabulous! Be sure to book a Falls view room it is worth it. We were very lucky to be offered an upgrade to our room so we were on the 20th floor with the Falls directly opposite our window, you could watch them from the huge bed. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Fresh drinking water provided every day and tea and coffee making available. We had a jacuzzi bath. The hotel give out free 48 hour bus tickets to get around and down to the National Parks either way. Very nice touch and greatly appreciated. The breakfast $30 PP plus tax and gratuities was a bit steep for what was on offer but the view from the restaurant of the Falls was worth it and we did it once. The staff in the restaurant and everywhere are very pleasant and helpful. Starbucks in the lobby was great as we could get a morning cuppa without leaving the building, always a plus with us. The only negative was the indoor pool, it is a bit tired and chilly we were only in there for 5 mins but we had the jacuzzi bath so didn’t mind. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting Niagara. Loved it.

The hotel is nice enough and as long as you get a room with a window facing the falls you wont be dissapointed. The location is great, in fact having stayed in other hotels in niagara falls, this is the best location. However there were some issues during our stay. Check in was painfully slow, it felt like i was getting a mortgage. Having just returned from Japan for holidays in April the experience when checking in was night and day. Japan's hotels in general are quick and efficient. Another thing is the fact that both pools had very dirty water. When we visited the pool upon returning to our room the room key didnt work. We had to go to the lobby in swim suits and wait in line for 10 minutes while where other people were checking in to fix this problem. There was no other staff to help us. The hallway in our floor was dark and in need of a new carpet. The staff was nice and tried their best. The lack of staff to help in the lobby is not their fault but the management of the hotel.

I stayed one night in November as it was a perfect location as I was attending a conference. It is a great location which is attached to the original casino and area attractions are within walking distance. I brought my mum to enjoy the Falls and am glad that I did. I’m a Platinum status with the Marriott and was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade and welcome amenity with welcome letter. I had booked a two queen standard room, however was given one facing the falls with a sofa, fireplace and Juliet balcony! My mum had intended to do some sightseeing, however didn’t want to leave the room as it was so nice. At night you could see the lights and falls lit up from the room, which was truly a treat. We did enjoy the club lounge at night which had a good selection of snacks and great lattes and is one of the nicer ones I’ve visited. I had to leave before breakfast started, however my mum enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the restaurant and loved the selection and the waitresses went out of their way to make her feel welcomed as she was dining alone. She couldn’t recall their names but they were working the morning of November 17 and I can’t thank them enough. The self parking was easy to use and the room was clean, comfortable and modern. Tony (bellhop) helped her with all the luggage and was wonderful. She was able to get the car with no issues and meet me at the convention centre.
Thank you to all the staff for going out of their way to make this a great trip and we booked to come back in December because of them.

I paid $500 USD + resort fee for two nights for a high floor room overlooking Niagara Falls to celebrate my birthday. I want to note that no matter what you celebrate, the hotel will not give you absolutely any compliments, but I didn't expect them. I planned that I would fall asleep and wake up with views of the waterfalls. What did I get: a room on the 16th floor with a view of the park and parking lot. I woke up and looked at cars parking instead of Niagara Falls. I was completely disappointed and upset. It was not at all what I imagined and what I paid for. The waterfall could only be seen if I positioned myself near the window and looked to the left side. The room was not the cleanest. I came across long black hair everywhere, perhaps it was the hair of Housekeepers, whom I met on the hallway near my room. There were some stains on the sofa, so I wiped the entire sofa with a sanitizing napkin. The napkin was very dirty. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. Everything else was fine. There is also no microwave in the room. Free wi-fi. Parking at the hotel is very expensive, but you can find parking nearby for half the price. I believe that I definitely did not get what I paid for. I feel that I was deceived.

The hospitality was great. Room service do not make your bed up daily, but they just give you new towels daily and water. The Fallsview room As a travel agent I WILL highly recommend this hotel. Coupons were given for a few great things like beer tasting, wine, and bus tour.

We were part of an escorted tour of eastern Canada and this was our first stop. My bedroom was on the inside of the hotel with no natural light as the shutters opened onto a locked window with a window box which looked out on to a void and then thick opaque glass. The room was always dark, even with all the lights on, so I was so glad that I had to spend little time in there. On the plus side, the tv was huge and the shower room amazing but not if you are 6 foot plus as the ceiling was very low. I was in my room when the bedroom service knocked and he only replaced the towels and tea bags. I did ask if he wanted me to leave the room but he said no. A few of our party paid to upgrade to a Falls View room due to the unsuitability of the inside rooms
We paid extra for a Falls View lunch as an optional extra at 1300. There was very little food left as service needed at 1330. Half of our party were not able to sit by the table window so it was hardly Falls View. A table by the window became vacant and I asked a server if we could move there; I was told that she was very busy serving 3 beers and she may not have time. Eventually, the table was cleared and we were able to have dessert by the window. The buffet area looked very tired and the vinyl on a few chairs had split. It’s not what I expected of a Sheraton Hotel - we stayed at much better ones in Ottawa and Montreal

This hotel is located right on Clifton Hill with indoor access to the Waterpark, and views of the American Falls. The hotel itself is decent, rooms are small but adequate. The primary driver for staying at this hotel should be the location, which is very convenient.
However, I would not suggest you trust what they advertise when it comes to check-in times though. Our room was not ready/available until 9:30PM! Despite the check-in time being 4PM. We saw housekeeping staff still cleaning other rooms well into the evening, so this must be normal at this hotel. We just walked around the area waiting for our room to become available, which was 5 hours later. Very strange, as the staff seemed completely oblivious to the fact that this is not normal at other hotels. They were unapologetic and unconcerned. They eventually gave us free parking for the night as compensation for the ordeal, which too only came only after I expressed my thoughts.
Additionally, they advertise Double Beds as Queens for some reason. Overall, we felt the management of this hotel is unethical and dishonest. There are similarly priced hotels available in the area with better standards.

Hi,
The hotel didn't take a security deposit but did take credit card details for 'incedentals'.
They also take a 'resort fee' (which we didn't know about) at the end of your stay, ours was $15.95 plus HST (tax) of $2.07 PER DAY of our stay in May 2024 paid it by debit card.
If your parking on site there is another fee for that too.
The hotel is great, with great views from a fallsview room, but shop around for meals, coffees etc as it is expensive in the hotel.
Downtown (locals area) is better for meals etc
Great place to visit and you will have a great time there!
There are more places to choose from in the Niagara Falls area.
