Nestled in a prime location, the Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa offers guests breathtaking views of the falls, which is a highlight for many travelers. The ambiance of the hotel is a mix of nostalgic allure with a touch of datedness, yet it remains clean and comfortable. While most guests enjoy the vistas from their rooms, there's a mix of feedback regarding decor and cleanliness. Service experiences vary, and though the amenities are appreciated, additional fees and maintenance concerns have been noted. Guests often feel the value is diminished by unexpected costs and expensive parking.

We chose this hotel is because of the view of Niagara Falls. We booked the Fallsview room through Marriott’s own app. First let me say that the view was truly spectacular from the room, but I am sorry to say that was about the only good thing about this hotel. The room decor was outdated, the furnitures were old, the room was not well maintained, a light fixture is flashing in the bathroom and the window between the room and bathroom cannot shut properly. Another issue I had is that even though I am a gold member and booked through Marriott’s app, the front desk gave us an older room without the updated big windows which can hinder the view of the fall, especially if you want to take good picture. The valet parking was pretty expensive @ CAD 65, but the front desk credit the fee back to ask when I told him that the bed sheet was dirty, so want to thank him first the gesture.

Dear EpicureanDragon, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the spectacular view of Niagara Falls from your room. However, we apologize for the maintenance issues you experienced and the outdated room decor. We understand how important it is to have an unobstructed view, especially as a Gold member, and we regret that the room you were assigned did not fully meet your expectations. We also appreciate your understanding regarding the valet charge, and we're glad our front desk team was able to address the bed sheet concern. We value your feedback and will continue working to improve our guest experience. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again for a more enjoyable stay. Zach Guest Services

This is a large and beautifully run Marriott on the edge of Niagara Falls, offering an absolute stunning view of the falls. Definitely worth getting a premium Fallsview room with a special view of the falls as they provide two wonderful lounge chairs right in front of the window, where you can relax and look directly at the falls. At night you have a perfect view of the fireworks that are scheduled at 10 PM each evening . Service at the hotel is great and the hotel is very nice, albeit a little dated ( the only negative thing I can say). The breakfast that is included with elite Bonvoy level is superb and bountiful. Everything is within walking distance and the incline rail is literally steps from the back door of the hotel. Perfect location!

Great hotel; wonderful location. Staff was informative and friendly. Room had an incredible view of the Falls. Bed was comfortable. Shower was better than most - nice flow of water from the showerhead, unlike some other hotels where you get a trickle of water. Morton's had some incredible food and the servers and hostesses there were helpful and friendly. Parking is pricey, but the valet told us we could park down the street @ the Rodeway Inn and pay $20 per day. It was a short walk from the Marriott - and 3 days of parking cost us what one day @ the Marriott would have cost us.

Room type: Superior falls view guest room with single king bed.

Positives:
1. Hotel has great amenities (pool, spa, bar/restaurant, menu for room service).

2. Hotel is within walking distance to great entertainment such as casinos and restaurants. * No shortage of options for things to do.

3. View of falls is outstanding, unobstructed, best part about the room. (Refer to pics)

Negatives:
1. Self parking is a hike. (Refer to map image). Since valet parks in the same area, I chose to save money and hopefully NOT park next to someone that will damage my vehicle. (Refer to pics)

2. Parking area should be more secure since the capability is already there. It is gated, has cameras and a gate house… it would be better if it were secure by hotel key card.

3. Surfaces like nightstands and inside of window need cleaning. (Refer to pics)

4. Ran out of body wash after first shower
5. Bed is less comfortable than other Marriott locations.

5. Hotel location is farthest hotel location from the entertainment area. NOT outside of a 5-10 minute walk. Not far at all.

Summary: I am happy with my stay and I would definitely stay here again. I know new beds would be a heavy cost, but I’d be a lot more happy if surfaces in the room were cleaned.

Make sure you ask for the local fee to be removed on all bills if you want to. Niagara add a local tax to everything but it can be requested to be removed.

We visited this hotel for our night at Niagara Falls (Canada side) and had an amazing time.

Just be careful when booking your room. We did it direct via their website and as we knew we were only staying 1 night we purposely booked a high floor on the Riverview (it said floors 9-12 when we were making the booking). Closer to the time of going, the hotel they said they didn’t allow bookings of this nature and they claimed to know nothing about high floor bookings on Riverview. After several emails back and forth, they agreed that closer to the check in time if we emailed, they’d put a note on the booking to request a high room. It all ended up ok and we were high up in a Fallsview room in the end (so credit to the staff for giving us a free upgrade) but it was a little irritating and added unnecessary stress. We did book it very far in advance so wondered if perhaps something changed in between the booking and us going.

In terms of the room, it was extremely clean (apart from the windows which I feel needed a good clean when you are there to view the falls). We had a jacuzzi style bath with doors that opened so that you could see the falls from the bath, it was really nice and was a huge bath. The beds were really comfy, we both had a brilliant night’s sleep and didn’t find it noisy or get disturbed at all. The bathroom was lovely, and had a detachable shower head as well as a rain shower which is a big bonus for me.

We didn’t eat there at tea time, but we did have the buffet breakfast which was absolutely delicious. Only thing I can’t be doing with is the tipping culture. We paid $85 for 2 people to have buffet breakfast, but we were still expected to give a tip. Marriott need to book their ideas up and pay their staff fairly, because it should not be up to customers to pay the staffs’ wage! Especially when we’ve paid extortionate prices to begin with. Even the Starbucks in the lobby was irritatingly begging for money. I understand it’s the custom in Canada and the USA, but it’s very annoying when you’ve already paid through the nose to be there.

The hotel offer a bag check, for when you have checked out and we made use of this which was brilliant. They also offered free WeGo bus passes which meant we could get the bus anywhere for free the whole time we were there. They do expire (either after 24 or 48 hrs, I can’t remember as it didn’t matter to us), but you can pop back for new ones.

Overall it was a lovely time, the hotel massively adds to the experience and I’d definitely stay here again if I went back. We didn’t use the pool facilities so can’t speak to that.

Hi gang,
Here we are with the Grandkids in tow to see the natural wonder of Niagara Falls. The hotel staff is efficient and friendly.
We had 2 rooms on the 15th floor with a perfect view of both the American Falls and Horseshoe Falls. Our room had a king with a large jetted tub. The room was clean and well appointed.
The parking lot for self-parking is a 2 min walk @ $45/day and valet is $65/ day unlimited access and they use the same lot !!!
The only drawback I experienced was the buffet downstairs. 4 passes for breakfast were incl’d in our stay. Sone of the items offered were good, others like the institutional powdered scrambled eggs were lame, bland a major turnoff. Pastry muffins would make good door stops,
The Starbucks in the lobby served diluted over-iced drinks. Not my style, a true ripoff.
If you want one of the best places to stay on the Canadian side this is it. But it’ll cost ya’.
Check it out !!
Rich

Based on location, I think the chances of getting a room with a view of the falls is highest at this hotel. It is closest to the falls with no large buildings obstructing in between. We had a quick check in and never waited long for elevators. Opted for the breakfast buffet option which was good value compared to paying directly. Self park was just a block away. Overall, I’d stay here again.

Travelled to the falls for our anniversary and staying at the Marriott Fallsview was probably the best decision we made of many "good calls" that visit. The valet parking was quick and easy, the staff was friendly at check-in and even arranged for a complimentary bottle of wine on the actual date of our anniversary, and the bar staff at the lobby bar were fantastic. The room itself was perfect with an amazing view of the falls, even providing a little sitting area that we took advantage of daily to enjoy the lights at night and coffee in the morning. I can't recommend the hotel enough and look forward to returning!

I took my wife and 1 year old on a spontaneous mid week two night vacation. I had actually booked the Embassy first with a fallsview suite but after reading a lot of negative reviews we cancelled and booked the Junior King suite at the Marriott instead. I am SO glad we made the change. We couldn't stop looking out the window. We were on the 16th floor, and the room had a huge panoramic window that made for a view to die for. You could tell the room itself was updated fairly recently, it was very nice with two big TVs as well. The separate living space was great for putting the kid to bed earlier. We also took advantage of the whirlpool in the bathroom that was a very nice treat!

The check-in process was super quick and easy, we used the self park option that was just a short walk from the hotel. We also used the hotel pool that was empty while we were there that the little one loved.

If you're taking the trip to Niagara this is the hotel to go with, and it's absolutely worth the money to upgrade to the junior king suite!

I know any trips we take to Niagara in the future, this is where we'll be staying.

Beautiful location

The hotel delivers on its name, we paid a bit extra for a room described as "superior room" view falls.

Very happy it was a lovely wide open view of the canadian and american falls with nice clean windows, and chairs to sit and simply stare out.

The room itself was of good standard, zero complaints and comfortable but nothing remarkable - But felt good value.

Valet parking was quick and efficient.

Downstairs starbucks in the lobby was perfect - friendly staff and got lots of practical advice, on multiple visits with pleasant seating area.

Had a lovely if not cheap Steak at mortons grille, and would defintely recommend reservations if want a window table, we made on check in without issue. Was very popular.

Overall highly recommend for location, and the view was definitely worth a bit extra.
