Robson Street
Robson Street is a shopper's paradise. Whether a window shopper or a serious trendsetter, a fashionista or a dabbler, the crowd of independent boutiques, quirky one-off shops, and well-known luxury brands on Robson Street have something to cater for every itch in your wallet. As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs. Known as "Vancouver's Runway," if a new trend is on the rise, you'd spot it here first.

We booked a room with a private bathroom. We were pleasantly surprised - the room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and location-wise, the hotel is very well located to the main station as well as the key areas including the Waterfront, Gastown, Yaletown and False

The hot water and the cold water in the room are saperated. It’s weird to use the sink because there’s only super hot or super cold. However you can use the public rest room instead. The room is small, but enough for two people. There’s a window in the room and you can open a

I thought the parking was included but it was extra. Finding the parking was very complicated and I had to carry my bags a very long way. Once I got to the room it smelt bad, like B.O. and the hallway and rooms next to me where very loud and there was a lot of door banging.

The rooms I've stayed in both times I was there were the same. They are small rooms but ample for one person. There is the bed, desk and chair. There is a mirror and a sink in room. The shared bathrooms are just down the hall plus there are some on other floors. I never had a time I had to wait. I personally was never bothered by construction noise. It is an older hotel so no air conditioning but there is a fan and the window does open. It was fine for me and I was there in August. There are many little alcoves with comfy chairs around the place if you want to sit and read. Staff are extremely helpful. My room didn't have a tv. Not sure what the bigger rooms are like. It is so central to everything. The morning continental is adequate. Toast or bagel, juice, coffee, tea. Not sure what else. I hope this helps.

So far as I can recall this hotel doesn't offer a shuttle service, but taxis pass its door, it is handy for a train station (Granville) and numerous buses.
