Neighbourhood
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.

My family recently booked two rooms at this hotel. Not only was the room itself comfortable with an excellent kitchenette but the location could not have been better. The breakfast was really good, with several options that allowed for everyone in our group to have something

Very nice hotel. Good location in the center of the city not far from English Bay beach. Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room with kitchen. Good breakfast. Close to Robson Street. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in downtown, within walking distance from sky train station. If you are coming from airport, you don’t even need to rent a car or take the cab. It’s also very close to the water taxi for Granville station and the downtown shopping area. The room is a bit dated but

We stayed there last October and as I recall, the cost to park underground was about $20. I don’t recall valet parking, but the self parking area just below the hotel is right beside the elevators to the hotel lobby and upper floors.

There is underground parking at the hotel - but parking is not free. I believe I paid $26 plus tax per day for parking. Double check with the hotel to see if prices have changed.
