It was absolutely fabulous, great accommodation, great food and the most wonderful hosts - we loved it!! Great trails nearby, beautiful views and to cap it all, it’s pet friendly!! Next time we will bring our doggies and want to be there for the Farmstrong weekend next March.
it is first time my family done the trail/hiking. Its fun and mountain view is beautiful. 6 km is perfect distance for my family, they do have option for 12k and 20k. Also, they make extra effort to provide me delicious vegetarian meals. The chalet is very spacy and beds are confortable. the only concern is that the bathtube water is a bit yellowish. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We have a wonderful stay :)
thank you for the genuine warm heartily friendliness. every employee went over and beyond to assist with such friendliness. it is such a lovely farm, with beautiful scenery, very relaxing and lovely fresh air thank you
The reception we got and service during our stay was excellent. The room was very nice. The nature in the area are very beuatifull. The fishing is excellent. The hike in the cliff was exceptional. The 4x4 drive is beuatifull. Bird life is something to talk about.
Everything was perfect and spotless I really enjoy my stay I wish o can stay there for good. Their hospitality jezzzzz don't remind there lemme call them I can reserve for good Friday. I never experience such a place like this one.
What an absolute pleasure. A magnificent old stone house, with views over the open fields and a large natural rock formation behind. This was our last overnight stop on a road trip of over 5000km so we might be excused for being a bit picky but there was absolutely no need. Xander and his lovely wife are exceptional hosts who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We stayed in the self-catering unit, with a fabulous view of sheep turning various shades of orange and yellow as the sun went down. The unit is very well equipped, clean and very comfortable. We had a quick look at the camping area, and it looks great, well-sheltered under trees against the rocky outcrop. Breakfast was the traditional fare, fruit, cereal and yogurt followed by bacon, eggs, toast, etc. prepared to order and served in a well appointed dining room with great views again. A big thank you to Xander and all the Imla staff. Excellent value for money overall, and we recommend Imla to anyone requiring accommodation in the Clocolan area. One word of caution, if you don't have an LDV or SUV, the road from Clocolan could use a grader, so just drive slowly. …
Staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. Rooms with a view of the mountains and across part of the farm promised for a very comfortable stay and that is exactly what it was. Open space was also enough for the kids to be able to enjoy themselves.
An exquisite stay on a blissfully quiet farm. The chirping birds waking me up in the morning were part of the ambiance and no disturbance. We came home late one evening and we did not expect to be offered food at that time, but the staff quickly prepared a steak and some chops to our delight. Lovely room with a huge bed.
From the second we arrived until oor departure the hospitality was warm and we had such a great time. Our room was great with beautiful views of the mountain. Go Food was delicious and there it's a great fire pit top enjoy a glass of red wine at. Would recommend to any traveler looking for accomodation in the Clocolan area. There is hiking, mtb, swimming oor just relaxing to name a few.
Our second year in a row stay at this lovely farm. Great staff, clean and neat rooms. Top chef, and hearty meals. A must to unwind and chill in the middle of nowhere. Free WiFi available if needed. Horse riding and dam fishing available.
