Just come back from eleven lovely nights at Lou Valen Hotel where I stayed with my 21 and 17 year old daughters. Located half way between Aix en Provence and St Tropez, it was the perfect location to visit Provence and the Cote D’Azur. Visited St Tropez, Nice, Avignon, beautiful hilltop villages like TourTour and the not to be missed Gorge du Verdon. Hotel is clean, friendly, has good facilities (pool, bar, loungers, boules, cable etc) and even won its heat of a recent French tv hotel competition. A warm, personal welcome awaits. Thank you Jean-Phillipe and Magali for a wonderful stay

Visited beautiful France for a wedding, and found that Lou Valen was closest to the Chateau. What can I say other than we were wonderfully looked after. Welcomed with open arms as we turned up an hour or so before heck in time, taken to our lovely room. You will love the super friendly French bulldog too! Lovely swimming pool and beer on tap. Breakfast whenever you wanted it in the morning too! Taxi whenever you needed and a brilliant pizza take away on a quiet Sunday evening. Just a beautiful part of the world I will definitely return. Thankyou!!!

So we visited for a long weeknd to attend a family wedding.. this is a really nice little hotel run by a young couple and their french bulldog ( very friendly).. So if you re looking for 5 star luxury then this probably isnt for you but the hotel and rooom s are clean, as are the communal areas and the pool.. really nice breakfast and a relaxed homely feel.. Not all of the bedrooms have air conditioning.. ours did which was good.. have a think if this is going to be a requirement before you book.. otherwise strongly reccomend. Thank you

Very pleasant hotel. Nice room, nice courtyard with pool, very quiet location. Extremely helpful people. We arrived by bicycle and as the nearby restaurants were closed the owner booked a restaurant in the next village for us and let us use his car.

This is such a lovely hotel in a beautiful and quiet location. The owners Nathalie and Charles will do whatever they can to make you feel at home. It's a great, peaceful location for relaxation. We stayed for three nights in the large room with a balcony - a great place to have your breakfast. You will need a car to explore the beautiful countryside and quaint villages all around. Well worth it, as there is so much to see. The only minor criticisms are the lack of Internet access in the rooms (although it is very good around the pool and reception area) and no English speaking channels on TV. It's perfect otherwise. Highly recommended!
