If you are looking for a hotel near the transportation center, Hotel Giancola is for you. It is situated right next to the train and bus stations. That wasn't quite what we were looking for as we had a "Cousin Vinnie" moment with the trains rumbling through all night. We did shut the balcony door and the noise lessened considerably. Free parking is available which is always a good thing when road tripping. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with a helpful staff.

This has to be one of the best Hotels in San Severo. It is only about 50 meters from the rail station and near the bus stop that takes you to places like San Giovanni Rotondo (S. Padre Pio Lucera etc.) The rooms are spacious and clean and the management are a real delight. We traveled from Turkey, Europe and most of Italy but this was the best Hotel for accommodation and price. Fully recommended.

We spent two nights in here as guests for a wedding taking place in the city of San Severo. Rooms look very good, bed supercomfortable, very clean, good bathroom and breakfast was okay: continental breakfast (without eggs and bacon). We paid 60 euro per night as part of a group, I don't know if the price to the public is the same. If this is the case the price is totally value for money

My wife and I along with my Aunt, Uncle and cousin stayed four nights at this newly renovated hotel. The staff (Francesca and Rita) were very helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel and someday wish to return.

We stayed at Palazzo Giancola while to break our travel driving to Ostuni for a holiday. The hotel is located on a piazza in front of the town's railway station yet the room (at the back of the hotel) was not noisy - although it was a Sunday night so I am not sure if weeknights are worse. The hotel appears newly renovated and our triple room was certainly newly fitted out and very clean. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower. The king size bed was very comfortable and pillows were great! We slept well. The breakfast (included) was a typical Italian breakfast, but without much of a savoury selection - only one choice, mortadella. Coffee was ok but not great. Service was very friendly and helpful. There is free car-parking outside the hotel. It was very good value for 100 euros for a triple room (incl baby cot - 4 of us in total) and breakfast. San Severo itself is apparently not on the tourist map, according to the locals, but a small town focused on agriculture. We stopped for a delicious hot chocolate at a cafe on the main street, some very good gelato at gelateria and a pizza at a restaurant that served us early given we had two small children with us. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and certainly made our brief stay pleasant.
