A beautiful stay. The chalet was comfortable and very peaceful. The food was very good, and they have an honesty bar. The pool is amazing. It is on a working farm, so you get to see the farm animals. The hosts and staff are very friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at the guesthouse. The host and staff are very helpful and friendly, the accommodation is comfortable and the scenery is spectacular. We will definitely be back soon. One thing to note is the road coming in has recently been washed out, so take it slow.

Desert Dew is a lovely place to spend a night. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the dinner and breakfast served were delicious. The only thing was that there was a power outage which began at 22.30 and was only resolved the following morning which made the room uncomfortably warm during the night.

Great overnight stop on the way to Cape Town. A working farm with Angora Goats. The rooms are comfortable. The food was top-class. Limited menu but it is very well prepared. I would recommend this. Easy access from both the N1 and N12. Short distance on well maintained gravel road.

Perfect get away place, secluded farm with beautiful scenery. Downside is it's far from the main road and has gravel roads. A big car would work perfectly, Otherwise the place is stunning. The honesty system is a great idea, friendly host

Stayed at Desert Dew as an overnight stay on our way home. It takes about 25min to travel the 14km gravel road in from the N1, so if time is an issue this could be a problem. The rooms were comfortable and dinner was great!
