Just had a one night stay whilst house hunting in the area. We found the staff to be very efficient and attentive. Our room was on the front of the hotel so had a lovely view even though the weather was wet and windy. Room was fairly small, but clean and comfortable. Evening

Although getting to the Cottage Hotel is a little off the normal coastal roads for the Kingsbridge and Salcombe area, it is well worth the trip in my opinion.
My wife and I have made several trips to Hope Cove during the summer by boat and anchored in the bay. You cannot help bu

Is there a lift? If not, how many levels is the hotel on please? Also do you have disabled parking near to the entrance? Is there help with luggage to the room? Many thanks
I don't think that there is an explicit dress code, but it is an old world dining room with an old world atmosphere. So we always dressed appropriately - slacks and long sleeved shirt etc. If there was a lift, we did not use it. There is only one floor abovee gound. The staff are most helpful in helping to move items to and from the rooms. There is a small parking lot at the entrance and I am sure that the owners will keep a spot there for you if asked.

My wife has problems with lots of steps. Are ther many steps into hotel, and is there a lift to the bedroom floor(s)
We were not staying at the hotel. We had an evening meal to celebrate a 70th birthday which was brilliant. Sorry I can't help you.

My wife has difficulty with stairs, OK for a few, so are there many steps at entrance, and assuming the bedrooms are on the first/second floor, is there a lift?
