If I could rate this place 100 stars I would! We have been to Paradisus numerous times on vacation, & when we decided to get married we chose Paradisus as our venue. We worked primarily with Apolo Calderon & Ariadna for the planning & they made it so easy! They brought in all of the vendors & made planning the event a breeze!!! The wedding was phenomenal & executed perfectly! Everyone had a fabulous time at the resort & everything was so gorgeous. Very cost effective & a dream wedding! I cannot thank the team at Paradisus enough! I highly recommend this place for vacation or your dream wedding!

Hotel's Favourite
Amazing getaway if you're travelling with young kids. My husband and I needed a real vacation after this past year with a toddler at home so after getting our vaccines we decided on Paradisus. If you're interested in not having to plan or think about what to do and just want to relax and have activities for your kids available if you're interested then this is the way to go. The food is good the ceviche and aguachile at the lunch spot and Mole were my favorites. The service is amazing, everyone works really hard, they're attentive, say hello, and do their best even when they're slammed. A very special shout out to the ladies who run the Kids Club, they were wonderful with our 2-year-old, they even threw a dance party for her while she was having a meltdown because I had a meeting, Omar Tores/T and Javier our server who had the best attitude and cracked us up, Estella and Diana seriously the best bartenders who were kind enough to get us through the vacation with lots of milk our housekeeper who was so thorough and accommodating (room 1520) and our room service attendant from Turkey so so kind! We can't wait to go back with more family, friends, and kids. Make sure to sign up for Melia rewards to get a discount!!! Honestly, we're usually the boutique hotel, path less traveled types but as newish parents who needed a break and this was perfect. Don't forget to call about a car seat for the hotel transfer so you don't need to bring yours.

My wife and I traveled to Paradisus Los Cabos during November of 2021 for our 10th Anniversary. We had an excellent time. We stayed in an Oceanfront reserve room which gave us access to LA Palapa where we had A la Carte breakfast every morning. We also had access to the Reserve Lounge which had top shelf alcohol such as Don Julio 70. Our butler Diego was able to set up a private table with cake in the Reserve Lounge one night so my wife and I could celebrate our anniversary with our friends in private. All of the food options on the resort were great but Mole was by far my favorite. Excellent drinks and the food was great. I'd have to say my favorite part about this resort were the people. Starting with Diego our butler and in particular Omar, Jonathan, & Alejandra from activities. They did their absolute best to make sure there was always something fun going on. Josue at the front desk was also very helpful. My only two issues with the resort were our room had an occasional off putting odor whenever the AC was not running. And the one night we ate at the Italian restaurant it seemed like it took a very long time for the food to come. Nonetheless I would still highly recommend this resort. If you're looking for some extra perks and to get away from kids then the Reserve is the way to go, it's definitely worth the extra cost. Also the resort is only about a 20-25 minute cab/uber ride away from Cabo San Lucas downtown where all of the beach parties and nice restaurants are if you want to get away from the resort.

We loved Paradisus and truly enjoyed our stay here! The location, the views and the decor was phenomenal! This seems to be more of a family hotel rather than both a family & adults only hotel but I would definitely recommend it to others and would definitely come back. My biggest complaints about Paradisus are just check in and Gabi Beach Restaurant. I hope that both check in and Gabi Beach improves when I do return. The beach at this hotel was absolutely gorgeous and safe to swim in!!! They also released turtles while we were here which was such a cool experience! I also really love that this hotel reuses its cups and doesn't use straws!. The food and drinks were great and everyone was so pleasant! Check in was a bit unusual and awkward. Reserve guests don't check in at the front desk like other hotels. Instead, you take a bit of a walk to the back of the hotel to a separate office. There was another couple checking in at the same time and they checked us in together. The couple's card declined and I'm sure it was uncomfortable for them because there was no privacy, they sat all of us right next to each other. It would be nice to check in at the front desk where there is a bit more space between the receptionists and everyone isn't within earshot of your business. It also took 2 and a half hours to get checked in. We arrived at 3pm and didn't get into our room until almost 5:30 pm. Couldn't even salvage any sunlight we had that day because we spent our afternoon just waiting in the lobby. Gabi Beach Restaurant. The experience at this restaurant alone soured otherwise perfect days at this hotel. Everyone we encountered at Paradisus had absolutely wonderful customer service except for at Gabi beach. So first, the overall service at Paradisus is slow. The 1st night we ordered room service, it took an hour and 45 minutes to come and when it did it was ice cold. However, all the other times we ordered room service, the food came at a reasonable time and was warm. At other restaurants the food sometimes took a while and other times came quickly but it never took too long. Now, as for Gabi Beach, we ate here every day because it has the best food options which sucked because the service here was absolutely terrible. The 1st time we ate here they sat us, a group of 2, along with 3 other groups of 2 at the *same time*. So we patiently wait because we see that the restaurant is busy. 20 minutes go by, 30 minutes goes by, then 45, then an hour with no service, not even a drink. As we continue to wait we try flagging down waiters but they ignore us. At this point the other groups of 2 have gotten water, their drinks, then their appetizers, their meals and finally their desserts, mind you we're all sitting in the same row. We flag a waiter down and before we could even finish saying anything he starts walking away and says I'm going to check on your order. And because he's already walking away we basically have to shout across the restaurant for him to hear us and tell him "what order ? there is no order to check on! no one has taken our order since we've been seated". There was another instance where the order came and it was wrong, we told the waiter and he said he was going to the kitchen to fix it, after waiting another 15 minutes I decided to just go to the kitchen myself because the rest of my food was cold at this point and on the way to kitchen I see our waiter cleaning a table. smh. The kitchen fixes my order and our waiter never comes back with what we asked for and also never even realizes that we just got it by ourselves. The restaurant supposedly opens at 11 and closes at 6 which is not true, we arrived at 5:38 one night and one of the male waiters very rudely told us they were closed, turns his back as we're still talking to him and just walks away. He just completely disregarded us after we just saw him speaking to a caucasin couple with manners. We also tried ordering food at 11:10 one time but they told us to wait and we didn't get around to ordering until almost 11:30. It's understandably a very busy restaurant. I just think they need better organizational skills, a better workflow and above all else wayyyy better customer service. The pool times are another downside to this hotel. We paid extra $$ for a swim out suite only to find out all pools close at 6. We like to spend our days at the beach and swim at the pool in the evening so that was a little bit of a disappointment. The adult pools are also ice cold. The main pool was the perfect temperature and had limited chairs but a lot of fun activities. Overall we still absolutely loved Paradisus & can't wait to come back one day!!

We just came back from a 7 day stay as a reserved guest and lack of personal care is a big let down. We've been to Paradisus Cancun and it was one of the best trips I've taken. What we liked about This resort: Very clean resort Wait staff was caring and gave great service Checked in was fast beautiful location felt Safe La Palapa - great food from breakfast to dinner Mole - great Mexican food Gabi Beach - plenty of choice for lunch Turtle release - Have to check when that happen yourself Tequila tasting - Diego was great!!! He made it fun and knowledgeable for us. Transportation to and from airport was great and smooth Cons: Upon our quick check in, we met our butler......and here is where it went downhill. He DID not.... show us around the property explained how to schedule and take our covid test did not offered to schedule our restaurant reservations til the next day..luckily I did that myself could not reserve a Cabana for us....they are only for families with kids but I saw plenty Cabanas that had RESERVE label on them...so we walked around and found open cabanas ourselves explained the amenities at the resort explained the activities are offered throughout our stay respond within a timely manner when asked about changing restaurant reservation, specific activity that we want to do.. follow up with anything schedule our transportation to and from hotel even when I asked him twice to do. So I did it myself. All he did was send me a schedule of activities with no follow up. The whole resort was short on staff but we still tipped because they were so kind and nice. We had high hope with this resort based on reviews when arriving but definitely was a let down based on what we experienced.
