My Mum and I recently stayed at the Two Harbours, touring the islands. We had a great stay. A very warm welcome from Shaun with tea and cakes. The accommodation is beautifully presented, and well refurbished. Very comfortable, clean and calming. Our rooms were lovely, with good quality throughout. The rear room has great views of the harbour. Breakfasts were excellent, with a great range of fruit, yoghurts and cereals with hot a breakfast freshly prepared. Shaun and Jacqui were lovely, with great local recommendations of things to do. If staying you really must book into the local bistro for dinner. Really great dining and a one minute walk away from the guest house. A really brilliant place, we had a lovely, relaxing time.

This B&B is truly excellent. The owners have restored the building to an extremely high standard and the quality is second to none. The twin room that we had was very spacious and beautifully furnished. Both the bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The price is higher than average B&B prices, but we felt that it still is good value. A very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Shaun was very happy to spend time with us, passing on useful information about Harris and Lewis. We would be more than happy to visit again.

Two Harbours folks saved our holiday. We had car trouble on Isle of Lewis and showed up for our Scalpay visit at 10 pm after a 2hour taxi ride. Sean, one of the owners, provided special food plates for us. The rooms were lovely. The next day Sean fixed us up with a private phone room so we could make car arrangements. He fielded phone replies while we went out to salvage our adventure in Tarbert. The North Harbour Bistro, one of the best restaurants in Scotland was a block away so we were fed well. Still without a car or solution on day of departure, Sean and his wife, Jaquie, got both cars out to transport us to a bus line. That saved us from riding the school bus. Way above and beyond. Wish we could have stayed a week to get to know them better.

Likely the most pleasant place we have ever stayed. Great service, extremely comfortable, awesome breakfast, and an extremely accommodating staff. With unfortunate circumstances leaving us without transportation, late arrival was not an issue and assistance with communications and logistics spot on.

We’ve just spent three wonderful days and nights at this exceptional guest house. The position is exquisite, quiet and calm with walks around the coast or up into the hills from the front door. Shaun has helpful suggestions for excursions, and is a natural host, warm and welcoming. Jacqui provides the best breakfasts I’ve had in years, always with a good choice of fresh fruit, homemade bread and various cooked options....my tip is the scrambled egg with smoked salmon! And waking in the morning to a view of the North Harbour....hard to beat, The house is sparkling clean, with interesting Art everywhere, and slippers for guests....what more can I say!
