Had a comfortable stay in this hotel. Very centrally located n Many places around the hotel to eat n roam around. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast was a let down the first n second day. Special thanks to the manager Jameel for honoring our request for better breakfast and suggesting us the right places to visit in Cape town. Loved the Hake fish n chips from across the road Also thr south Indian butter chicken n Malabar paratha from one of the restaurant across the same street. Suggestion. Book only the hotel not the breakfast

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your breakfast for the first two days at Zest, but I believe that this was addressed by Lezane, the floor manager. Personal attention was given on your request with chicken at breakfast and increased the portion served. I followed up with you on that day, and I was glad to hear that you were fully satisfied, and that the food was delicious. We would like to suggest that at your next booking, to specify your diet requirements for us to communicate with Zest to avoid dissapointment and meet with your expectations. We've been wanting to "check-out" of a very busy life for just a little bit and decided to that Newkings Hotel was it! We have 0 regrets :) We loved the location, the building and the culture, it was not too stuck up and formal, there was such a good vibe. We had a great stay at New Kings, which is conveniently located in central Sea Point. The location is perfect and our double room had a lovely sea view. The room was really spacious, very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. It came with a tea/coffee station fridge (with bottled water) and a microwave. There was a separate toilet room and a very roomy shower area with fluffy white towels and dressing gowns. Our highlight were the very friendly team who were always smiling and available to help. They provided extras that we needed in our room, as well as helping to print out documents we needed for travel. The neighbourhood can be a little noisy, but that's to be expected if you want to be close to lots of lovely restaurants, markets, bars etc. I think the hotel has done a very good job of sound proofing and even as a light sleeper, I didn't have any problems getting a good night's rest. …

Visited the hotel for a 2 night stay. valuable items were removed from my room. Reported it when I realised it was not in my luggage only to get a response apologizing for what had happened and then marketing was pushed onto me, no plan or attempts were made to correct the issue. Regardless of whatever there is to enjoy at the hotel, one cannot over look dishonesty and theivery. Lock up valuable items when leaving the room, make sure to check items before checking out. Truly a shame...

Excellent location for a business or leisure trip to Cape Town. Staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous and efficient. No request was too much trouble. Restaurant on site was perfect place to relax between activities and perfect for business entertaining.
