Everything about this accommodation is simply the best, I think Tina Turner stayed here when writing this smash hit "you're simply the best"! If you are tired of scouting accommodation recommendations then stop here, you will not be disappointed.
Had a comfortable stay in this hotel. Very centrally located n Many places around the hotel to eat n roam around. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast was a let down the first n second day. Special thanks to the manager Jameel for honoring our request for better breakfast and suggesting us the right places to visit in Cape town. Loved the Hake fish n chips from across the road Also thr south Indian butter chicken n Malabar paratha from one of the restaurant across the same street. Suggestion. Book only the hotel not the breakfast
Beautiful well located hotel with spacious, neat, well ventilated rooms. They go an extra mile and provide morning gowns. Hotel staff is very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Beautiful sea and City views. Resturant inside the hotel is amazing.
We've been wanting to "check-out" of a very busy life for just a little bit and decided to that Newkings Hotel was it! We have 0 regrets :) We loved the location, the building and the culture, it was not too stuck up and formal, there was such a good vibe. Stephanie at reception was very friendly and welcoming, no hassles with anything at all.
Lovely visit to this hotel, check in and out was super easy. Staff were wonderful and accommodating. Best restaurant on-site which I visited twice! Fantastic location- very close to the promenade and with beautiful views.
We had a great stay at New Kings, which is conveniently located in central Sea Point. The location is perfect and our double room had a lovely sea view. The room was really spacious, very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. It came with a tea/coffee station fridge (with bottled water) and a microwave. There was a separate toilet room and a very roomy shower area with fluffy white towels and dressing gowns. Our highlight were the very friendly team who were always smiling and available to help. They provided extras that we needed in our room, as well as helping to print out documents we needed for travel. The neighbourhood can be a little noisy, but that's to be expected if you want to be close to lots of lovely restaurants, markets, bars etc. I think the hotel has done a very good job of sound proofing and even as a light sleeper, I didn't have any problems getting a good night's rest. …
Visited the hotel for a 2 night stay. valuable items were removed from my room. Reported it when I realised it was not in my luggage only to get a response apologizing for what had happened and then marketing was pushed onto me, no plan or attempts were made to correct the issue. Regardless of whatever there is to enjoy at the hotel, one cannot over look dishonesty and theivery. Lock up valuable items when leaving the room, make sure to check items before checking out. Truly a shame...
Excellent location for a business or leisure trip to Cape Town. Staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous and efficient. No request was too much trouble. Restaurant on site was perfect place to relax between activities and perfect for business entertaining.
perfect stay in a perfect place We stayed for 3 nights and were very happy with the service, the cleanness of the rooms, the kindness of the staff big advantage also is the free underground parking ! we would love to come back
Stayed in the hotel for almost 3 months in total. It's still relatively new with modern and spacious rooms. Very friendly staff, from reception to housekeeping and security. Loved it! Highly recommended!
