It was the cheapest accomodation we could find, so you cant expect 5 stars. The only noticable issue where the fact that we had to ask every day for towels and cups as they put 1 of each in the room every day. It was almost if they didn't have enough. Other than that it was a pretty cool place with friendly staff. Very central and located in a very vibey street.

I stayed at sea point inn this past May. The location is perfect in the quaint area of sea point which is a neighborhood with great amenities and a nice seaside area. I was able to rent a bike at a nearby location and rode that bike along the shore to central Cape Town. It is a very easy and convenient area. The prices were excellent given my last-minute booking and given the nice caliber of the area. It is not a place with a lot of amenities IE no fancy lobby no concierge etc. The rooms are very clean and I thought as a single person, appropriately sized (though they may be a bit small for two or for the luxury traveler which I am not) rooms with a bed (full size cozy) a place to store your things and very clean bathroom that was updated. The Wi-Fi worked really well. I don't recall there being a TV in my simple room. I would recommend it for people looking for an affordable place to stay that is clean and safe in a nice part of Cape Town where equally located hotels could be twice the price. It is inexpensive because there are no frills, not because it's unsafe unclean or unsavory. I considered staying in a hostile but feel like I'm too old for that. This Inn offered a happy medium. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be staying there again when I return to Cape Town.

The place is well situated just next to the sea, great shopping, lots of eating places to chose from. Lots interesting places to visit. Advice is to improve housekeeping time to clean and service like tissues and towels and bedding changes

So many things are wrong with this place...
Photos posted online look nothing the actual place
Stained bed linen
Stained walls and broken doors
Curtains only covering 2/3 of the windows And worst of all there is no hot water - in 2020! It’s almost unbelievable but it’s true. Staff kept on telling us that it should be working but it isn’t.

If you have a choice, don’t stay here.

This is like living in a backpackers, there is only dry walls between the rooms and you can hear absolutely everything that the other people are doing in the room next to you. We were booked in for 3 night but left after the first. The manager then had the audacity to tell bookings. Com that we did not show up.

Worst experience ever. Spent 5 min in the room - dirty beds, dirty shower room filthy in general.Checked out immediately. Staff(manager on duty) not helpful and refused to give me a refund as rooms don't match pics.

Don't expect a whole lot. You get what you paid for however, the kindness and caring from the girls at the front desk will make up for whatever is missing. They will go out of their way to assist you in every way possible. Would like to acknowledge here the Carmen (The manager), Nancy and Esther were always willing to help us every time we needed anything from them.

well, if you are the person who counts money, then this hotel is for you! Cheap, clean, great location! Well, here are some tips if you decide to stay there. Let's start with disadvantages:
- no shampoo and toothpaste provided (they provide only soup for hands, not enough to take a shower)
- thin walls, you can here everything what is happening around (but the place is quiet I can say, we didn't have any problems with that)
- very narrow rooms in bathroom (but you just need to take a shower there, not to sleep, right?)
- small parking (and you have to book a parking space for you when booking the room but it is free of charge and you will always have a space there. Just wait for a couple of minutes and they will arrange it for you)
Advantages:
- very helpful personnel. They are always there to help you.
- hair dryer is provided, iron is provided when you ask for it.
- very comfortable bed.
- cheap
- great location (all shops are around, cafes and restaurants are there, and it is 5 mins walk to the coast)
I will definitely stay there again when I decide to travel there.

This was a great place with a great location! The manager was so hospitable. Their location is on the same street as many shops, close to the beach and close to the hop on-hop off bus tour stops. Very convenient! I would definitely recommend this place!
