We had a relly good time at the Muize - very clean and airy, seem to attract older cusomers - meaning no noisy guests messing with your sleep. The is a love dog Gemma and the breakfast was super tasty. We were offered a secure parking on the territory as well. Will be coming back!

We were treated like royalty from the time we arrived. Meg prepares the most amazing breakfast, with everything one could want. the location is also perfect and everything you need is within walking distance, and a wide range of things to explore. Rooms and beds especially were super comfortable, communal lounge and outside chill area great to relax in after a day out.

Meg and Cole were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They both ensured our stay was entirely problem free and a very pleasurable experience. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the shower always hot. Breakfast offered a good variety with an excellent cooked option. Marmite is available , which is a big plus!! The location of the Muize was secure and well placed for walking to the seafront with restaurants and beach. They cope with the national power cuts with a smile. There was a reserve light in the room which gives at least half an hour light during the rotational 4 hour power cuts. Best to have a torch handy.

Thank you so much. We have upgraded to light bulbs in the main lights, that you can switch on when the power is off, and are busy getting quotes for more solar options. Problem not going away soon. Hope to see you back here when you get that big group together. Take care! Kind regards The Muize Family

I travel to Muizenberg 2 to 3 times a year for business and to catch up with friends. Siya does the booking and is always professional and welcoming. The wi-fi is good and allows me to respond to work issues. There is a beautiful view across the Vlei from the upstairs rooms which are beautifully kept and the breakfast is great, with lots of variety.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at The Muize. The host was friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. The facility including shared kitchen was well stocked. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was perhaps my favourite part with easy access to Muizenberg beach and promenade - I went for a beautiful morning run along the shoreline followed by a day of swimming in the numerous tidal pools in the area. We will book again without a seconds thought if we need accommodation in Muizenberg! Thank you

We loved this cosy house, so charming. The stairs are a bit high but the rooms are very confortable. The bathrooms are a bit small but you can find everything you need, handwash, shampoo etc. A very very clean accommodation ! The ladies are very kind and the breakfast was delicious. The location is near the restaurant and the seaside. It was a great stay !

I really loved The Muize. It has such a warm, welcome feeling to it. The original charm of the building has been kept abd the rooms are nicely decorated. The owner is very friendly as is his staff & it is a home away from home, walking distance from the beach and coffee shops and stores in Muizenberg. Definitely a must stay at!

My wife and I came to the bed and breakfast on our honeymoon. Muizenberg was a place we have not explored before for the previous times we were in the Western Cape. The owners and hosts were very friendly upon our arrival and during our stay. We were given excellent recommendations on things we could do while we were staying in the area. Breakfasts every morning was a highlight for us as it gave us an opportunity to meet with other guests and share experiences. We even made friends at breakfast and went on to go surfing later that morning with them.

Hmmm I'm surprised by this comment. The Muize was a superb location and Daniel, Meg and Adrian were perfect hosts. The reason they requested keys be left (which I believe was optional ) was to allow guests that had blocked others in to be undisturbed if they were needed to move! We didn't block others or leave our keys. There were 2 parking areas , one of which was on the side road. I expect the guys at the Muize will now adjust their policy to ensure 'insurance compliance'. No one should be put off. We will return next Feb for more hospitality

I'd say definitely. They have off street parking behind secure electric gates and security cameras.
