I had the most amazing time at Be Tulum! This review is about the hotel and the beach club. First, this hotel is a true escape from reality with a clean ocean front (they pay to have the seaweed removed) with luxurious amenities all throughout the property. I also stayed in another hotel for a few days prior, and regretted it the minute i checked into Be Tulum. The rooms at Be Tulum are huge, with your own patio, an outdoor shower, an indoor shower, air conditioning, and it feels like you're in your own cottage. Beach Club review: Be Tulum's beach club is impeccable, and my review is about hte wonderful service. From my first dy, Ivan Jr. helped me find the perfect area to relax on the beach while waiting for my room and ne helped me over the next several days, and always made sure to call me by my name, and talked with me about where I was visiting while in Tulum (including the best, local places to eat. I felt welcome and realxed the entire time I was there.

Recently me and my husband decided to visit tulum and chose be tulum as our accommodation. We initially had many problems during our stay: - bedroom was noisy (restaurant was next door, surprise!) - blackouts were not really blackouts (light comes through at 6am and wakes everybody up, and believe it or not - the balcony lights never turn off (ever)) - air conditioning leaking water - and the reception staff was insensitive to our problems (want to change room? Pay for it). After many complaints, 2 days and a tough review in trip advisor, they listened to us. Truth be told - they changed their posture, moved us to another room (a much better one) and gave us a generous compensation at the end of the stay. The hotel is really beautiful and cozy, the guys from the bar and restaurants are very helpful and the location is great. The only problem is that if you have any problem, it will take some effort until it is solved, depending on who is at the reception at the time. And definitely never book room #20….

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Be Tulum. Everything about the hotel is immaculate. Our room, #38, was an Aqua suite and it was extremely well appointed, new, modern and really sexy! The hotel is adults only which added to the romantic experience for us (2 young boys at home) The staff was very attentive and always pleasant going out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Sam the concierge checked in often to make sure everything was OK. The food was outstanding. There is an open air restaurant steps from the beach with an authentic wood fired kitchen. We had whole grilled sea bass one day for lunch and spit roasted suckling pig for dinner which was out of this world!! Must try. We will definately be back!

be tulum used to be amazing hotel, now the reception is full of ignorant, arrogant rude useless and hopeless staff who don't know the meaning of customer service and what providing a customer or their guests with respect. Especially when you're paying that type of money it's an absolute embarrassment and a joke to the establishment. The waiters and cleaning ladies are beautiful and kind, but the reception is a joke and they all think that they are above everyone else when in fact they need to realise that they are receptionists at a hotel and the customer is always right and they are there to please the customer. get over your selves and learn to be kind. Diego MAMONSISIMO.

Be Tulum is absolutely breathtaking! We enjoyed the jungle feel while also being steps away from the beach. All the staff were kind and accommodating and breakfast, which was included with our room, was delicious. We had lunch at the restaurant on the property, Maresias, and the food was incredible and super fresh. Especially the shrimp tacos! Abraham was the best waiter. He remembered our names and that I love hot sauce so he made sure we had it at every meal. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and can't wait to visit again in the future.
