We seriously loved our stay at paradisus Cancun! We stayed at another Meliá resort in Punta Cana and so we were drawn to the same name because we loved our initial stay so much. I have to say this one was even better! The reserve (adults only) is definitely worth the splurge. Every cabana is well-placed and everywhere you sit you feel isolated like there is barely anyone else around you! It is very private and quiet and feels luxurious. 10/10 recommend! With your reserve stay, you get a personal butler. We had Ceci and she was absolutely amazing! She booked us cabanas, and Max, who manages the cabanas was excellent as well and so accommodating. Last but certainly not least, the guys working at Las Palapa’s restaurant and the reserve pool bar (Diego’s team- Joel, Miguel, Moises, and all of them!) were another highlight of our trip. We are so grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and ability to help us enjoy every second of our vacation. We cannot thank you guys enough for everything! Some more logistics for June travel: reserve rooms air conditioning, room service, and mini bar were all great. Comfortable bed and light colors, clean and new. All the food we had was great as well, even poolside service was delicious and we never had any issues. Seaweed: Paradisus had little to no seaweed. Beaches were cleaned every morning and it was not really noticeable (I will add pictures). Overall, everyone we saw and interacted with was great. Overall we would 10/10 recommend, especially reserve and hanging out with Diego’s La Palapas crew! We are planning to come back next year with our parents/in-laws since we loved it so much. Thank you Paradisus!

Hotel's Favourite
This review is non reserve, group of 27 high school seniors and parent (s). We had a total of 13 rooms all in tower 3. Most of us had lagoon view, which for our needs was perfect, we were rarely in the room. The rooms were nice, beds comfy and housekeeping was very good. We did have problems with our safe several times and finally gave up using it. We had teen boys who consume massive amounts of food and they never lacked for food. The drinks were good, but could be inconsistent, so had to find our favorite bar tenders and tip them well. The staff here is absolutely fabulous. The Nespresso bar was amazing and the barista went above and beyond. The gelato shop was also a hit. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment and appreciated them adding the DJ night since the nightclubs were closed. We thought non motorized sports were included. And maybe they are (across the street at Aquaworld) but due to Covid we couldn’t use them. We used the excursion desk for two excursions and they were helpful getting our large group taken care of. The beach is beautiful and the beach drink and food service was amazing. The surf was rough the entire time we were there, and the lifeguard said it always was. If you are going for swims in the ocean, this is not going to be your place. This place is top notch.... no complaints.

Great service, great people, really good atmosphere. The hotel is really beautiful. The rooms are very well maintained as well as the hotel grounds. We had very good service from many great servers, like Baltazar at the pool, Martin at the buffet, Jimmy at Cappella and Saul from the animation team. They all went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We were a group of 11 guests, so it was always a challenge to seat us at the restaurants, because they allow a maximum of 6, bit they were always so friendly and nice that we didn’t really care. The only negative thing I would point out is that the shows were too early, at 8:30 pm we never got to see one because that was still our dinner time. Regarding Covid-19 protocols, they are doing a great job. You must wear masks in all closed doors spaces, they provide you with gloves to grab food at the buffet, and everything is clearly signaled. We felt really safe all the time. It was our first time at a Paradisus hotel and we will definitely come back.

We had a great time at Paradisus. We went in a group of 9 with 3 kids. The resort itself is beautiful and assigns a concierge at check in, Juan Carlos was amazing. He helped us plan and book all our excursions and set up dining reservations for us every day we were there. All the food we tried was delicious. Loved the location, the service and atmosphere here.

We just got back from a 12 Days stay at this property which was our second time saying here and we really enjoyed it, and first time with kids. They are very strict with COVID measures , every is clean and disinfected on the spot and also you could see how rooms are disinfected with some sort of UV light after guest check-out. Due to COVID hotel is at 80% capacity but I believe they aren’t properly staffed for the amount of guests. But by no means is a complain to the employees, since is directly mostly at management, because the employees they do go above and beyond to try to work it out but it is very noticeable how overwhelmed they are. That being said there are definitely some employees that did stand out in our stay at Paradisus Cancun. Leticia “Doña Leti” which was Leticia by the kids pool she made our days by the pool simply a vacation always making sure we didn’t need anything. Elliot also by the Kid’s pool always making sure our Bali bed was set up and waiting for us each morning. The food in this hotel is well-above average for an all inclusive, comparing to hour first stay I believe it has diluted just bit but in going to blame it on COVID. But definitely is good food. I would like to point out the Italian restaurant “Capella” is highly recommended and be sure to ask for “Alfredo” to be your server he will make you feel like royalty. The Mexican restaurant “Mole” is also really good and probably one of the best service in all the restaurants “Carlos” And “Luis” provided an excellent service. I would like to also recommend Enso, the seafood restaurant, which is available for lunch and dinner. And if you are feeling like eating fresh seafood it is definitely the place to go. ¨Deniss¨ made sure we knew about every plate and she was there always making sure we had what we needed every moment and also helped me to set up a little Birthday surprise for my wife. Our niece spent the days at the Kids Zone she wouldn’t stop talking of how much she had while she spent her afternoons there. They definitely know how to keep them safe and entertained. We did choose the Reserve side sincere has done it before when it was called Royal Service and only for adults now kids can stay but can’t use the pool nor the “Palapa Restaurant” which is a draw back because that pool is quieter and the restaurant is a great option for breakfast. We did chose to have breakfast at the Reserve Lobby since it was less crowded than the main Buffet (We went the first morning and regretted because you had to basically fight to get coffee from someone) offering just enough for a quick meal. Finally but by no means last if you stay on the Reserve side you are assigned a personal assistant (I refuse to call them butlers) and “Soni” took care of absolutely everything from the moment we checked int until we left. She made all the dots connect and set everything up. She definitely made this vacation be one and be one of the greatest so far for us. Thank you Paradisus Cancun, we definitely be back. P.S COVID test is done on site, if coming from the US and you have done a rapid or antigen test is very superficial but in FYI Mexico is done like a PCR pretty deep.We just got back from a 12 Days stay at this property which was our second time saying here and we really enjoyed it, and first time with kids.
