The Beach Palace All Inclusive hotel boasts a prime location with easy beach access and ocean views, which is a highlight for numerous guests. While the amenities such as pools and entertainment are generally appreciated, some visitors have encountered overcrowding and reservation challenges. The cleanliness of the rooms and facilities often receives commendation, although housekeeping inconsistencies have been noted. The spacious rooms, however, are said to be in need of an update, and issues like brown tap water have been flagged. Travelers enjoy the lively atmosphere, though the poolside music volume has been a concern for some. The staff's warmth and attentiveness stand out, despite occasional lapses in service speed. Nevertheless, several guests question the hotel's value for money, pointing to overpriced services and high-pressure sales tactics.

Overall great trip. As noted in other reviews, the place needs some TLC. Beds we’re comfortable, the rooms ac was cold, showers were always warm/hot, and they cleaned every day. Great selection of TV channels in english and Spanish. Room service was fast and the food was outstanding. Ordered a bottle of wine to the room…no less than 10 minutes it was there. Super impressive l.

The food had a great variety and was better than other resorts we’ve visited. The pizza place was way above average for mexican pizza. Japanese spot had a huge menu and our waiters Daniel and Ramon gave us “special” items to try and quickly served drinks and the food. They were stand out waiters. The buffet was ALWAYS good and a great backup for anything. Rsvps on the app were easy as well.

The sports bar had a huge selection of high end liquor and the staff was amazing every night. Offering special drinks, putting out peanuts, etc. Zacharia, Odely, Jose Alfredo, and Evick were all stand out employees.

By booking through a member we had black wristbands which gave us access to the beds on the beach. We had an issue here where the pool concierge with the big belly put boogie boards and towels down “saving” the first two rows for guests who tipped him. We moved them several times and he would get pushy with us. We noticed most days that no one even used the “saved” beds and other members who are members had no where to sit in the VIP. For this reason we’ll never sign up as members.

However, when on the beach, it was super clean with no seaweed, bluest water you’ve ever seen, was only rough one day, and the staff would put up an umbrella if you asked when it got too sunny. They had one guy in our section all week, Francisco. Nicest man ever. Came around often, always had cold waters, and if you ordered food…it came fast and was hot. Not alot of vendors I noticed which was nice. The staff set up football, soccer, and volleyball for guests to play. That was cool.

They had plenty of entertainment and good variety.

Overall I would come back but I wouldnt join as a member.

The hotel prepares very good meals, very nice rooms and has a very good location an excellent beach were lowered to drinks and beers did not have several types of tequilas, from the pool previously were air conditioned and this time we touched the very cold water therefore we made a report which was not attended as one could not get into the sea because of bad weather.
The restaurant staff in the kitchen area very attentive, high quality food highlighting the work of Mr. Oscar Olvera and his team Alejandro Roblero, Juan Ek, Damian, German, Guadeloupe and Sara very professional.
Very good the animation team except for Luis Ruiz for his bad attitude towards his colleagues and the guests and makes offensive comments (we participated in his activities and realized his bad attitudes as far as others very well

I was presently surprised with this resort. Yes, the giant “arch” is an eyesore and the resort could use some upgrades, but there were so many pros that outweighed the cons. There is also an abandoned resort next door, but that didn’t affect our stay at all. I will preface by saying the resort was at 50% capacity while we were there, at least that’s what we were told. I can imagine it could feel crowded with more people and the resort could get a little boring if staying more than 4/5 nights, so I would plan a few excursions if staying longer.

I loved that the restaurants didn’t require reservations and we had no more than a 10 minute wait to get in anywhere. The food was really good too! Momo and Tavola were my favorites. Eduardo was the best waiter at breakfast and lunch! There is also a coffee shop with an array of sweet treats, crepes, and ice cream. There is also food service at the pools. Poolside service was pretty good too!

The kids club currently undergoing construction so it’s moved to another building in a boardroom space. It’s a little bare but there are plenty of activities for the kids and the staff was nice, especially Abril. It doesn’t seem like there’s a set schedule for activities though, it’s more like open play.

Seaweed was pretty bad and the sea was rough for a few days, but clear and calm others. The beach was cleaned every morning. Rooftop pool was really warm and the views are great. There are ramps everywhere and the elevators were fast and efficient. They offered the timeshare presentation at The Grand but they weren’t pushy about it. The app was really easy to use and great for requesting room service, extra towels or maintenance. The shows were good, but more on the basic side without any props or extra pizazz.

My husband and I took our 2 Grandchildren for a 3 night stay.
The Reception staff were efficient except that we had to wait 3 hours for cases to arrive in our room because of their system, that was not explained to us upon our arrival.
Housekeeping was non existent on the day after we arrived. On the following day, I had to call twice to get anyone to come, change used towels, refill the tea and coffee and the milk etc. it was not acceptable.
The food was OK but nothing special. The waiting staff were nice and polite.
Why the hotel thinks, that blasting loud, booming disco music every day from 10am from the poolside, is something everyone wants to hear, is a mystery! We could even hear it through our room’s double glazed doors and we were 4 stories up.
If you want to eat at either the Chinese or Italian restaurant, you have to book by calling between 8am and 10am. We did eat dinner in both of those which was a change from the main restaurant. It was disappointing for our 10 and 12 yr old grandchildren to be offered the children’s menu with extremely limited choices in the Italian one, called Gondola.. My husband ordered a cream of tomato soup that came as a bowl of cream with a tiny spot of tomato purée on the top. Inedible.
People tended to come down to the poolside very early in the morning and put towels on the chairs but then disappear. I was the only person swimming at 7am every day, but most of the chairs were already “taken”.
Surely the hotel, with its many staff could monitor this behaviour.
We found the hotel shop to be extremely expensive with items incredibly overpriced. I would suggest patrons bring everything with them that they might need for a beach holiday.
Would we stay again…..absolutely not!

Dear Vickym830, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We appreciate you choosing Beach Palace and the time you took to provide insights into your recent family getaway. It’s great to hear that you found our reception staff to be efficient. However, we regret that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. The experience you described regarding the delivery of your luggage and the challenges you encountered with housekeeping do not align with the standard of service we aim to provide.  We are also grateful for your comments regarding our dining options and entertainment offerings. Your feedback about the loud music by the pool and the dining experience in our restaurants has been noted, and we will certainly take this into consideration as we continue to refine our services. Regarding the practice of reserving poolside chairs, we understand how this could be frustrating. Our team strives to ensure that all guests have a pleasant and enjoyable experience, and your suggestion for better monitoring has been duly noted. Thank you once again for your feedback. We hope that you will reconsider visiting us in the future. Kind regards, Mark Dhale General Manager.

Our adult children and we spent 5 nights at the Beach Palace and had a wonderful time! The beach is beautiful and water is clear, compared to other resorts we've stayed at in Riviera Maya and Playa del Carmen over the past few years. We were about 20 minutes from the airport and used the Palace transportation to and from the resort. We stayed in a room with a lagoon view and saw some incredible sunsets from our patio! The staff and service were incredible! We enjoyed the excellent food at each restaurant and loved that you didn't need to make reservations or be told that you couldn't get a reservation. You could go to any restaurant any night you wanted. We ate at every restaurant and enjoyed each meal! Sometimes we had a little wait for a table, so we just got a drink while waiting! I have food allergies (dairy, gluten, peanut, egg) and listed them on the cell phone app prior to arrival. I was very surprised that when we checked into a restaurant they could see there was a person with an allergy, they acknowledged it, wrote it down and let the waiter know. In addition, the buffet manager, Janet, asked what the chef could make me for the next meal and the next day for breakfast. They cooked the meals separate from other food and depending on how busy the restaurant was it took about 15-20 minutes. They brought whatever I requested and even made some suggestions. I appreciated Janet's attention and also the delicious food the chef, Edward, made for my breakfast and lunch meals. At each dinner restaurant, they made food that didn't have any of my allergies as well. This was the first time I've had a resort do this, and we've been to Cancun many times over the years. It was also the first time I didn't get sick at least once while on my trip. Our breakfast and lunch waiter, Ernesto, was so good, made meal suggestions, always brought the "Not Milk", plant based milk, for my coffee and even made lattes with it. He took the best care of us at meals! Edwardo, waiter at Smokehouse, was excellent and provided great dinner service two nights. Alfredo the bartender at Sky Bar, was so fun to talk to and made fantastic drinks. He had a great knowledge of tequilas and made the best margaritas! We enjoyed talking with him as well! The service was top notch! The rooms were nice, clean and beds were comfortable! The entertainment staff at the pool and beach were great and a lot of fun! The fitness instructor did a terrific yoga on the beach at 7am, which was wonderful to do as the sun rose.

We were pleased with all aspects of the Beach Palace and would return based on the incredible beach, food and service they provide.

The resort itself looks more like a hotel so I missed more nature aspects compared to others but it is honestly stunning inside and the beach is incredible. We had a wonderful check in experience. We all received cold, scented towels and a beautiful flower which was very cute.

There are 3 pools in the main area, one with a slide for children, one really big pool where all the activities are and a smaller pool which is nice and warm with a swim up bar. There is also a hot tub that’s actually hot which was nice when the days started to cool down and on the terrace there’s two more large pools with drink service. The gym is also up there and it’s very nice, just small but it does the trick for a vacation workout.

The service was absolutely mind blowing. The staff are SO attentive and so friendly. They even serve you lunch around ANY of the pools and I’ve never experienced this at any other resort.

All of the restaurants were phenomenal in terms of service and food quality. Even the room service was hot and fresh! They options they had were fantastic and I was happy to see some real authentic Mexican food. They even have a cafe with specialty coffee options, delicious pastries, desserts and sandwiches.

The rooms were beautiful and we had a beautiful view of the lagoon. Only downfall of the rooms was cleaning was typically delayed or didn’t happen but were pretty clean and made it work. More towels would have been nice as we were 4 guests total. Myself, husband and two daughters.

There were only a few downsides overall, the SportsBar was awful for service and not offer very lively entertainment. We could not get a drink there for over 40 minutes and when we did they were extremely gross. We brought children with us but were disappointed they let children in here at all hours they are open. The poolside entertainment team is great but they didn’t really have much going on in that department.

You also can’t really get a lounger at the beach unless you have a white bracelet, which comes with a high tier member buy in of over $50K. You can’t even offer to pay extra for one and pretty much all beds seemed to be reserved for these guests on the beach.

We have stayed at other Palace resorts, the Moon Palace had so many options for entertainment by the pool, in the evening and in the different styles of bars. The plus side of this one at least is that it’s very walkable. I just hoped more would be going on as that’s a big part of choosing a resort VS the AirBnb adventurous route.

The resort credits are also kind of a “scam” so beware of these as incentives when booking. They are not what they seem to be.

The kids club was a plus, our youngest had so much fun in there! It’s a nice option to get out of the sun for families that have children with fair skin.

Overall I would most definitely recommend this resort, the service everywhere (minus the sports bar) was amazing and the food was top notch and very consistent.

We had a great family vacation at Beach Palace. We travelled with our son, daughter in law and two toddlers! The check in process went smoothly and I politely told one of the sales people pushing Moon Palace that I wasn’t interested. I agree that after a long travel day, it is not a great first impression! We had buffet lunch while we waited for our room to be ready! I’m not a huge fan of buffet food but they do a nice job. Staff where very welcoming! The pools are beautiful and well kept. You continuously see people cleaning up! I do wish they had some hand sanitizers set up around the buffet and pool area! The beach is beautiful and very clean. May I suggest they put a cart and trash barrel out at the beginning of the ramp so folks can put their towels and trash away on their way in!
The rooms are huge! The staff are very good and provide great customer service! Room service for breakfast was good!
The pool side staff keep you hydrated! Don’t forget little rafts for the kiddos! They do not have air to blow up tubes!
Special shout out to Silvino at “WOK”. He went above and beyond with menu recommendation and provided us with some great memories! They all work very hard please remember to tell them you appreciate them and thank them with tips!
This is a great place to travel with kids! They included airport shuttle in our reservation but was grateful our son booked private transportation!

Beautiful place that combines access to one of the best beaches in Cancun, swimming pools, restaurants, quality of service, and above all concern to support you in what you require.
In my case, as without sugar, the Beach Palace team prepared desserts without sugar, it is appreciated.
We had beautiful piece facing the sea, comfortable, clean, we could rest very well.
Being in the pools or on the beach, you are taken care of very well continuously.
Recommendation, download the Palace Resorts app to your mobile, in which you can book restaurants, spa, find out about entertainment, tours, etc.
The restaurants, all very good food.
We are very grateful to everyone, and special comment, to those who made us feel at home, Fernando de Smokehouse. Julian de Tequila Buffett, Silvino de Momo, Raymond and Alfredo de Tavola, beautiful Mrs Gabriela in taco sector.
Wilberth and Juan customer service.
Very grateful, more than recommended to travel to this beautiful city of Cancun

So we have had issues from the start at this hotel, first of all the room was smelly and has brown water coming from the taps they changed our room for a sea view which was lovely for them to do, but the room still has brown water coming from the taps, the food is well below a 3 star let alone a 5 star resort.
The only thing that is a positive for this hotel is the staff are lovely.

Now the major problem for me with this hotel, me and my mum ordered a A4 wagu steak that has cost us $54 extra to have, and this steak that arrived is absolutely unacceptable I have had basic wagu steaks in the past better than this A4 class Wagu! Pictures will be posted! When our food arrived over and hour later we had the most tiny pice of FAT not meat put on a plate for us, we complained about this as it is not what we expected when we agreed to pay more for this, the hotel manager named Dalila came to see us and told us this is what Wagu is like! I have had so many wagu steaks in the past and never have I had a lump of fat put on my plate and told me this is how wagu is, I’ve told them I’m not willing to pay for something I can’t eat but I was told by her I will need to pay for this because I’ve ordered it and it’s charged to my room!

I am beyond angry that i decided to book this hotel I have never stayed in such and awful suppose to be 5 star resort this is definitely below even a 3 star and I would advise anyone to spend their money elsewhere.
To sum it up the food is bad the rooms are bad and the hotel is run down! The only positive that I have found is the staff are wonderful and very friendly.

Shame on you palace resorts I will not return!!!

This was our fourth stay at the Beach Palace and once again we were impressed from start to finish. The first night in our room the AC wasn't working. They changed us to another room quickly and got the problem solved. The beach was cleaned of seaweed every day which made the beach area much more enjoyable. The food was fantastic at every restaurant and the sweet shop was always stocked with amazing treats. Our number one reason for returning to the Beach Palace.... the STAFF! Huge shout-outs to Alax in the Tequila restaurant, Alan at the sweet shop, Pablo at the pool, Alfredo at the swim up bar, and Ruben at Momo restaurant. Odely knew our drinks by day two and was always incredibly sweet and helpful with food and drinks - our favorite poolside server we have ever had. We also had a lot of fun with Luis at his TRX class, HITT class, and water cycle class. He is very knowledgeable and professional. The entertainment staff was always great at getting the kids and adults involved in volleyball, water polo, and nightly entertainment. We had so much fun Franco, Alex, Joan, and Sergio. Another great family trip to the Beach Palace.
