The hotel is a little negleted; the best thing was the pool, but the family room we (3 adults, two kids) stayed needs some work (the shower leaks, the bathroom sink has mold. Also, there is a major contruction infront of the hotel, they are changing pipes, so there is mud and smells like drain water. I recommend this hotel for a night or two the most. The location is not bad, it has good restaurants near by and the beach is 10 mins away (walking).

As this was our first time to Puerto Vallarta and we were not planning on staying in our room for any extended period of time, it was a nice place to stay. The staff was polite and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Or for 50 pesos we could be taken by taxi to pretty much anywhere. We did encounter small ants in our bathroom, and the window in the bathroom wouldnt shut properly, so had a couple moths in the shower. Light above sink wouldnt turn on, and had a cockroach, which we named Carlos, come to visit one morning....but my husband put him outside and never saw him again.
The hotel was overrun with families on friday night and there was 30+ people in pool and area screaming till midnight.
Bed was super hard, and tv was small....but we didnt spend much time there
Staff was very nice and had towel swans on our bed each day from housekeeping staff. lus our flight was late on our last day and we were allowed to leave our luggage there until we were done for the day.
Overall it was fine to stay at...but will upgrade next time

Great hotel just off the main street and a 5 minute bus ride to the boardwalk. Right next to Subway and Pollo Pepe for quick food options. The regular price was a little high for the location but their promotions make it a pretty good deal. Super clean room. Beds were a little hard. Lots of channels on TV including channels in English. Air conditioning. Pool isn't heated but it still feels good when it's hot out. I don't think the staff is bilingual or at least they didn't try to use any English with me. I'd stay there again if the price was right. They even let us use a mini fridge in our room for the week that we were there for no additional charge.

We chose to stay at this hotel after a last-minute booking to Puerto Vallarta for 5 nights over Christmas. At the reception desk, we were greeted by friendly, English speaking staff. Our room was clean and stocked with towels. The air-conditioning worked well. Our room was poolside on the 2nd floor so there was a bit of noise in the evenings from the people using the pool.
The pool area was very clean as was the pool. There were no problems in either our room or anywhere else with bugs, mold or general uncleanliness. The housekeeping staff were very accommodating as to when our room was cleaned. We would let them know daily what time we were leaving and when we came back our room was tidy.
The breakfast was a hit with both my husband and I. For 699 pesos, we had our choice of all breakfast items. The omelettes were delicious. Breakfast was available until noon.
Although there are no options at the hotel for lunch or dinner, there is a taco stand on the same side of the road just a couple blocks toward town that serves the best tasting authentic Mexican tacos I've ever eaten. There is also a Subway and a chicken place right outside the hotel doors and also numerous cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on a budget or for people not looking for an all-inclusive package.

Okay. First off, this is a budget hotel, not on the beach, but close.
But, because of the service, free Internet, great warm pool, nice rooms, cable TV, hot water with good pressure in the showers, and a free included breakfast-with real, hand-made tortillas from 7am to noon, for the price, it is hard to do better.
Yes, the pool can get noisy with the kids having fun, but the hotel also plays groovy Zen music in the pool and patio area.
I was there on a Monday, and yes it is low season, and I had the pool to myself, and it was wonderful.
Now, keep in mind, mostly Mexicans stay there- which I prefer, as they are far nicer than Americans. They can get loud, but hey, they work hard, so they deserve to play!

Look for the Expedia prices for this hotel. It really is a bargain. Close to the airport, close to shopping and eating, and just a two minute walk to the left (leaving hotel) down on the corner is one of the best taco stands in all of PV.
So, because of the price, free fast Internet, beer and soda for sale in front, and really super friendly staff, I give this hotel my highest rating!

We recently stayed for one night at the Hacienda on a stop over to another hotel complex. We have stayed for 2 nights in the past and figured one night there would be fine. These rooms are "no frills" as it is your basic bed and bathroom but they are clean. This time staying there was not as pleasant as the last. You don't spend much time in the room because you have to keep the curtains closed all the time so people don't walk by and look in your room which makes the room seem dingy. This time our air conditioning was not working properly and our room was warmer inside than it was outside which made sleeping difficult. We had ants in the bathroom which we didn't experience last time. The soap was completely covered with them in the morning! The place is kept very clean so it is not a cleanliness problem but they just come in through the bathroom window which is not sealed properly. The pool area is very nice and the pool is nice to swim in. A breakfast buffet is also served every morning for $80 pesos. We did have a distubing experience there though. We had rented a safe in the room with a key lock but after we checked out we found that we both had money missing. We couldn't accuse anyone, it could have been the maid or another staff member but we won't be staying here again.

No order at all. 25+ people in the pool screaming all night. Asking management to talk to them fell on empty ears. Accommodations bad. Housecleaning fine as usual in Mexico. I don’t see how several people gave them good marks. Overall, an awful experience.

Cheap budget hotel but as vacationers we come to relax and like to lay by the pool and enjoy the sun. Unfortunately, this hotel does not put any money into the pool area. The pool is not heated and is frigid. The table and chairs are permanently dirty no matter how hard you scrub them to try and clean them. There are two mesh loungers by the pool that are both broken and ripped. The other lounge chairs are a hard pvc that you cannot adjust that no one wants to lay on for any length of time. The hotel next door, Vallarta Sol, although it has a lot to be desired from the outside has a heated pool and many beautiful loungers and zero gravity chairs. I've looked at that hotel in past years and talked to people that have stayed there year after year and it is evident that they are putting money into that hotel to attract tourists which this hotel is not.

Tiene estacionamiento?
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
No contamos con uno propio pero le comento que frente al hotel normalmente hay donde estacionarse sin mensionar que la ciudad es muy segura.
