We had a wonderful time for two weeks at this Hotel. Stayed in Suite 31 which we were very happy with. The bedroom door when closed blocked out the noise of the street.

Sitting on our balcony we watched the Olas Altas Farmer Market set up at 8:00 am. Lots of good food and baking goodies to buy. Every morning we watched an exercise group in the Parque Lazaro Cardenas while drinking our coffee. WiFi only works in the Lobby which can be a bit noisy at certain times with people coming and going.

When we arrived we were given suite 22 which faced the back of the hotel with no view and not worth sitting on balcony unless you like quiet. We quickly changed to 31.

Proximity to numerous restaurants, malecon, beach access and grocery stores.

The Staff was very friendly, the suite was cleaned daily, linen and towels changed regularly. Housekeeping were constantly washing the floors as well as the pool area was kept very clean.

We would certainly stay here again when visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Other than a little mixup upon checking in (an error on Travelocity’s part), This hotel was perfect for our stay. Room was clean, small but the bathroom had great water temp and pressure. We were on the second floor and our balcony looked out to a partial Oceanview in the park. Loved the rooftop pool area. Everyone was friendly and the view was amazing. Keep in mind that there are some renovations going on so we did have to deal with a little bit of noise as well as Zumba in the park every morning. But that really did not affect our stay whatsoever. Abby Ramone and Lily, all three front desk people were terrific. Will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed in a suite from Feb. 25 to March 27.We have visited Puerto Vallarta for decades. The suite was spacious, bright, and there was a private balcony.Cleaning staff were good.
The bathroom was tiny, no storage for toiletries, one hook. The bedroom had one night stand and hardly room between bed and closet.Kitchen had 2 burners, one pot without a lid, two pans. We moved kitchen table to balcony because balcony table was inadequate.
Roof pool was nice, but stairs difficult. Courtyard pool had better stairs but not maintained and then closed for renovations on roof.
For the price we paid, we expected better!

Watch out! They will try to tell you they can’t find your reservation. Then you will end up either cancelling your Expedia reservation and pay them either cash/pesos there for a smaller room or more for the same reservation. The management/front desk people are completely shady. You may want to try a different hotel. Luckily, I was confrontational and heated with them and miraculously my original reservation “reappeared”. They also tried to charge extra upon leaving and I didn’t fall for it either. Luckily my Spanish is good and I’ve been to Puerto Vallarta many times. This is the first hotel that tried to screw me over. Never staying here again.

Clean and great location. We stayed here for 11 days with 2 other couples. Excellent location to walk to many restaurants and to the beach. Little stores nearby and a larger grocery store 2 blocks away.
Laundry (paid for by the pound) is around the corner. Property is very clean. Maids are always mopping the floors or cleaning the rooms. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly. A bonus is there is a Saturday market across the street from 9 am until 2pm. You can buy breads, fruits and vegetables, hot foods, souvenirs and sweets! On the top floor there is a small dipping pool, lounge chairs and tables, chairs and umbrellas. Our friends had a suite and we would go to theIr room to play dominoes or cards after dinner. Wifi available in the lobby and on the top floor. We stayed in a junior suite that had 2 double beds, a tiny kitchenette, 2 high chairs and a bar to eat at, if you choose. There were also pots, pans, dishes, silverware, a toster and a coffee maker. Bring your own dish soap, coffee and coffee filters. There is A Page in the Sun coffeehouse, restaurant and library about 4 doors down the street where you can get coffee and a bite to eat and better WIFI. There is great security, with a guard at the entrance after dinner and through the night. Guests also wear a green band while they are staying at the hotel. There are safes that you can rent at the front desk. We have been staying here for a week or 2 for several years!

Very basic room. There’s not even a phone. Can’t call the desk from the room unless you use your own cell phone.
I brought my own suitcases down. I almost tripped getting out of the elevator while 3 staff members just stood and watched me struggle. One finally offered assistance as I was 2 steps from getting into a taxi. Forget at that point. Poor customer service.

Hotel is great but as I booked through booking.com they claimed only half bill was paid. Had to pay again. Aside from that it is in great location and very clean.
Internet is only in the lobby, all other amenities were as advertised and available

We stayed at the Eloise for two weeks in 2023 and quite enjoyed our stay. We had booked the Suite in the front since last year #31 was excellent. We were put in the back suite #42 for two days but requested to be moved as soon as possible. After two days we moved to Suite 41 which we were happy with.

We love the view from our balcony of the Saturday market, mountains and the ocean.
The PH with the small pool and sun lounger were our place to rest in afternoon. They also added a very nice covered room on top since we were last here. Great place to read and stay out of the sun.

On the weekends there was a Traditional Mexican show which was very good. Walking the malecon each morning and evening were very enjoyable. Close proximity to many local and seafood restaurants and bars.

We will come again next year!

Loved this place! If you are looking for no frills and a clean bed to recover on nightly, this is it. So many incredible restaurants and bars within easy walking distance (like next door), and close beach access. Staff was very helpful.

We couldn't get in at our regular PV hotel so booked at Eloisa. It was absolutely perfect! From the easy check in to the clean, comfortable, quiet room. The cleaning staff were delightful. Location is amazing for enjoying Old Town & the malecon. The roof top pool & seating area was our go to spot every day. Wi Fi throughout the hotel NOT just the lobby!
