My wife and I have a wonderful experience at Garza Blanca Preserve in Puerto Vallarta. We had a honeymoon suite which was great. It was ocean front with a balcony overlooking the ocean and the pool. The suite had a private hot tub on our balcony.

The All-inclusive was a great deal. Many restaurants to choose from and the room service was outstanding. Would highly suggest the All-inclusive package.

The thing that stuck out the most was how friendly and dedicated all the staff was. We really want to thank our butlers Jose, Roberto, Alejandro and Felipe for the great service they provided during our stay. They were always checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and just provided outstanding service. Thank you!

We spent most of our days on the beach and want to thank Javier who always stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. We really want to thank him for always decorating our beach cabana with beautiful flowers every day. Javier you're the best! Thank you for all you do.

Over the years we have gotten to know most of the servers at the beach and the beach pools. Roberto, Alejandro, Francisco, Ziem, Ivan, Juan, Panchillo and all the other servers are just outstanding people and really make your resort shine. All of them always welcome us with a smile and go out of there way even if they are not covering our area.

This trip we had a chance to meet a new server who took care of us most days on the beach cabana. Oscar is such a great addition to the server staff. Oscar did an outstanding job taking care of us every day and was always one step ahead of us with what we needed. Oscar, thank you so much for taking care of us each day at the beach. You are outstanding at what you do.

It also important to thank Joel who was always in the Garza lobby entrance. He always helped us and made sure to go out of his way to say hi and make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks Joel.

One of my favorite things to do was take the trolly up to Hotel Mousai South rooftop bar at night for a few cocktails. The roof manager was Rigoberto and he did an amazing job running the roof top bar each night. Great work! We also found all the other on the rooftop bar to provide outstanding service. Angel, Eduardo and all the others were providing outstanding service also. Bottom line....you have to visit the Mousai rooftop bar at night. Great fun and service.

Being that we stayed 8 nights at Hotel Mousai also I want to also express what a positive experience we had with our butler Ernesto while staying at Hotel Mousai. Ernesto is on top of things and 2nd to none as far as service goes.

We had such a wonderful trip. The resort is beautiful, the rooms are great, the food is outstanding, and the employees are really top notch. My wife and I have been all over the world traveling and this is one of our favorite places.

Thank you for such a great experience.

This resort was amazing! Breathtaking views from ALL rooms and restaurants. Even the spa has a floor to ceiling outlook over the ocean and the entire city. I would recommend the panoramic view room over the ocean view when selecting especially as a couple due to the peace and serenity of the location. This resort is also apart of hotel mousai so you can get access to their restaurants and amenities as well. The 3 different pools were all infinity that overlooked the oceans and the city. The pools were rarely crowded and the staff was very attentive at all times of day. Very few kids running around the resort which was great for a couples or solo relaxation trip. (Not family friendly) All of the restaurants were high-end cuisines. The dinner at the Italian restaurant is set up romantically on the beach so you can take in the ocean and watch the sunset with surprise fireworks. The spa is a MUST if you stay. Hydrotherapy treatment is an added bonus with every spa treatment. It was definitely worth the relaxation and the masseuse was perfect(I dozed off a few times). The resort is perfectly situated close to the city but not in the city which gave it a more reserve and retreat experience. They have many activities to do for free at the resort (kayak, yoga, run, and hiking, etc.)

The resort has a trolley that takes you around the resort which can be a plus or minus depending on how you look at it. But we rarely had to wait a long time for the trolley. (Sanitizer provided every time you enter)

The staff was on par at every moment consistently greeting and at your every request. Did not have to wait long for room service and they continued to come around with food and drinks throughout the day to check on your experience.

If you sign up for the presentation you get a free city tour and 50% off the spa which was very beneficial.

Covid testing on site!!! Added bonus especially for traveling back.

We traveled around to see all the other hotels in the city and this resort definitely stands out!

My family just returned from our 6 day- all inclusive- trip to Garza Blanca. There were 6 of us and we stayed in a 2 bedroom panoramic suite on the 5th floor of Tower 4. The suite was plenty big and we were able to spread out comfortably to log in for both school and work for the first few days. We had to upgrade our wifi for the days that we needed to work or do online school as regular free wifi was spotty. Everything was else perfect. The location, the amenities, and the food/drinks were amazing. The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived at the resort. I must mention a few names for those who stood out. Erasmo, our concierge, was the best! He took care of all of our dinner reservations, and managed to surprise us here and there with champagne upon arrival and a couple of wonderful desserts sent up to our suite to wish us a happy anniversary. Marisol was our housekeeper and was super attentive, while Tito took care of us by the pool, and Emmanuel upon checkout left us with a great lasting impression of how wonderful this resort truly is.

I would like to point out how nervous I was initially to travel here during Covid times, however, their safety protocol was top notch. Other than some guests not wearing masks when walking around in public places, I would say the majority of the guests did. I liked that the employees wore masks at all times and upon entry to any restaurant, they dispensed hand sanitizer into our hands. Definitely felt very safe the entire time.

We loved everything about this resort and will absolutely 100% be back again soon!

We had a gorgeous suite in tower 5 with a wraparound balconey. The view was fantastic. Check in went smoothly. It is aabout a 30 min taxi ride from the airport. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. We stopped at the MEGA grocery store on the way. Next time, I think we will go to Costco or Walmart. The kitchen was very nice. The food was good at the 2 restaurants we tried on the property. Our room was so nice we stayed there more than any other hotel we have used on vacation. We even used room service twice. The trolleyruns you down to the main lobby beach side. We picked up taxis there but we had taxis drop us off at the tower. They provided the dish soap, paper towels, laundry soap, water and sodas as well as the usual toiletries in the bathrooms. We bought 2 more cases of water (there were 4 of us) There is a small shop by the main lobby and you can exchange for pesos there. Cozumel is a mixture of pesos & USD. Last time two years ago we needed more pesos. this time it was easier but I wouldstill have enough on hand forport fees & taxis just in case. The area & rooms were very clean. The concierge and bell captain & staff were very proactive.

Stayed with friends, purchased all inclusive package. Room was nice and big(1 bedroom). Food was very average, a lot of times very blend and not seasoned at all and other time super spicy. Alcohol drinks were super weak, without a trace of alcohol. Not really drinkers so really did not care, but noticed. Service was not prompt. Simple juice order would routinelly take 15-20min even though bar was literally 25feet away on the beach. Shower in the room was going from hot to cold on it's own, almost like there is not enough water pressure. There is seriuos construction going on next to buildings and create lot of noise. Resort has very limited grounds, almost none. During lunch it took 45min from order to first appetizer. Pool has warm water which is nice, but beach has a lot of rocks. Minimal activities. The funniest of all was "italian restaurant", which was literally few tables on the beach on the sand. We were served Italian dishes, but girls came on high heels dressed up for "Italian restaurant". Close by Mosai resort had nothing special, rooftop area is highly overrated. Five stars can not be justified at all. Would not recommend

We recently spent 4 nights in an ocean front suite. Our accommodations were luxurious and immaculate. The pool is beautiful with decent pool service and the two restaurants on the ocean side of the resort are very good. The beach is small with a protective jetty keeping the warm tropical water shallow and calm. Getting in and out of the water is tricky because of rocks. The resort sponsors free hikes and kayak activities that are adventurous and lots of fun.
Covid protocols were too lax for comfort. Guests were not wearing masks in the lobby, lounges at the pool were much too close together. And there were far too many people. While they are supposedly restricted as to occupancy it was obvious there were many people at the pool who were not staying at the hotel. Groups of people were changing in to swimsuits in the restrooms. This laxity is not respectful to the paying guests who expect to feel safer. A friend came to visit and there was no security at the gate. Cars were streaming in.
Garza Blanca must have once been one of the loveliest resorts in Puerto Vallarta. The ocean side of the resort is charming. Unfortunately they are putting up a multitude of hideous high rise buildings across the road that will add hundreds if not thousands of guests to the already compact seaside setting. It’s very sad to see paradise destroyed but that’s what’s happening.
We did have a nice, enjoyable stay except for an unhappy experience at Hiroshi, a Japanese restaurant associated with the hotel. (I wrote a review).
Because the hotel is not near the town, dining choices are few. We purchased the all inclusive plan from the hotel but we certainly ended up on the losing end of that as we are not big drinkers or eaters. The steak restaurant across the road was pleasant but ordinary. The two restaurants seaside are very good. Service was excellent.
Would I stay there again? I don’t think so. It was nice but not nice enough to bring me back

We were first-time guests at the Garza Blanca resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in mid-January. Of all the places we have visited in Mexico, this was by far the most enjoyable and beautiful. The resort accommodations were pristine, the staff most accommodating, and the food excellent. It is a laid back, serene, mostly adult resort and it never seemed crowded. With mountains at our back and an uninterrupted ocean view, we couldn't imagine a more picturesque location for a getaway vacation.
On our first full day, they booked us on a whale watching excursion. We never dreamed we would have the opportunity to see so many whales so close to the boat. My wife had always wanted to do this and was completely thrilled by the experience. We took a $6 taxi ride to the Old Town area of Puerto Vallarta and felt completely safe as we walked the cobblestone streets and visited the shops and a local restaurant. We found the residents to be extremely friendly and helpful to tourists. It didn't take long for us to decide Puerto Vallarta was a destination we wanted to keep on our short list so we sat down with Luis Perez to discuss their vacation timeshare arrangement whereby we could return to Garza Blanca properties in Cancun as well as Puerto Vallarta. We were surprised to learn that they had a reciprocal arrangement with RCI whereby our timeshare would be honored at world wide destinations. Although we had always resisted committing to a timeshare, we were totally at ease with Luis and his sincerity in describing the benefits while explaining our financial commitment to our satisfaction. We purchased a timeshare from Luis and are very excited at the prospect of planning our future vacations with him. We only regret we didn't find Luis and Puerto Vallarta sooner.

Garza Blanca is a very clean and professionally run resort about 30 minutes south of the airport. We recently spent a week there over Christmas and I cannot speak highly enough of our experience.
Firstly, the hotel: the main hotel sits next to the beach and has a number of towers with rooms and suites. The hotel expanded and now includes access to the Hotel Mousai and TierraLuna shopping and restaurant area. If you are a guest at Garza Blanca you can access "all areas" via a trolley service. There is a large pool you can use, and part of the beach is roped off for guests to use. There is a nice shallow, sheltered swimming area for kids and the main beach for guest use. There is a small store and a staffed concierge area.
The whole hotel and grounds are spotlessly clean which was really appreciated.
The staff: The staff are very, very helpful and go out of their way to assist with anything you might need. Francisco with the travel agency can make reservations for any kind of activity and is able to pull strings to get you where you need to go. Dante and Bonnie were very helpful on the concierge desk and would answer text messages when they were off duty to help. Everyone I met went out of their way to help me.
The food: There are close to 10 dining options at Garza Blanca and Mousai you can access. In a week I only at the same restaurant twice, because I wanted to! The Italian restaurant on the beach was excellent with tasty food, the steak restaurant has really nice steaks, but my favorite was the Chinese restaurant at Mousai which was absolutely excellent. The pool area has food and drink service which is quick and tasty. If you go all inclusive you won’t pay for any of the meals and is really worth it in my opinion.
The room: we were in tower 2 which overlooks the sea. You won’t hear hotel noise and at night all you can hear are the waves! The rooms are huge, and we had a “double room”, which was 2 separate suites that you access by the same entry way. The main room has a full kitchen with washer and dryer. It’s like a home from home. There was daily housekeeping and turn down. The room was cleaned to a spotless standard, and we had lots of extra towels and shampoo etc.
Will I go back? Absolutely. It was a totally relaxing vacation and as we went all-inclusive I knew I wouldn’t have a nasty bill for food and drinks at the end. All in all, I thought it was very reasonably priced. They have in house covid tests available for return flights, which was convenient.
The views are amazing, service incredible and food is delicious. But the people make it a special vacation. Thank you to all the staff.

This is an amazing all-inclusive resort. Yes, the all-inclusive is worth every cent, even if you have kids. This is our second visit to Garza Blanca, the first with kids. The two bedroom oceanfront suite (building 2) is perfect for our family of five. It has a washer and dryer that allows reduction in packing (I brought my own laundry pods and dryer sheets). It also has a Nespresso machine and a regular coffee maker. All the restaurants serve delicious food. We liked Blanca Blue for breakfast, it has a bigger buffet than Boca Dos. Hiroshi is included in the all-inclusive. The hotel is currently at high capacity but we still had a great time and got a pool or ocean chair whenever we needed one. Don’t be “that” family that drops towels on 10 lounge chairs and then leaves. It is likely that your chairs won’t be there when you return. There is construction happening right now but I didn’t hear any noise. The ocean drowns out all other noise that might occur. We utilized the free WiFi and found it more than sufficient. It is the rainy season and there was threat of tropical storms and/or hurricane while we are here. Despite the forecast, We still had many sunny days and very little rain. Mostly rained at night.

Finally, we went on the advanced hike with Oswaldo. It is advanced because you have to use ropes for assistance in certain spots. There is about a half an hour of steady uphill walking. My 11 year old kids had no issue. Don’t skip this. It was awesome. We swam in a waterfall.

First, the resort is gorgeous. The grounds are extremely well kept, lush and beautiful. We stayed in a panoramic 2 bedroom in Tower 4 on the 4th floor. It had such a beautiful view. The hot tub looked out onto the forested hills behind the resort, all else, was views of the ocean. The room was huge and nicely designed. Several different lighting sources so no matter what you had ambiance. The wall was a moveable window door that folded into itself so that you could have open air all day or whenever. We loved that feature. Every detail of the room was top notch, lush plants, marble, thick towels, comfy bed, soft sheets, huge pillows. It all felt very luxurious.
Second, the pools and the beach were fantastic. We snorkeled right off the back of the resort and saw so many fish near the rocks! The pool water was perfect and the infinity pools made being in the pool that much more enjoyable. We did the all inclusive option and there were many restaurants to chose from -- all had good food. The dishes were not your average dish but well thought out with good presentation and delicious flavor. One night the chef actually prepared the fish the family had caught earlier in the day and he was very proud to bring the dishes out. It was delicious and a real treat for everyone.
Finally, the staff at GB is so professional and focussed on client service and having the customer enjoy themselves, we were blown away. Two families with kids were in our party. We all know tweens, teens and be a little over the top, but the staff was never bothered (or at least didn't show it!) Truly it was the best customer service experiences I have ever had on a vacation.
We would love to return and will also recommend GB to everyone we know.

There is not butler service per se. There is daily housekeeping service that is very good, maintenance, IT/WiFi technicians, and excellent room service for food/beverage delivery to your room. Concierge service located in the lobby is for other needs such as restaurant reservations, excursions etc, and you can connect with them by phone, WhatsApp, or text. We always tipped for any room service, trolley trips, bar service, restaurant service, and we tipped concierge at end of the stay based on how we felt the service was or how much we used them. It is our habit to take personal gifts from home that we often give the service personnel who give outstanding service during our stay. (e.g. Baseball hats, silk scarves, earrings, bracelets, pen sets, gifts for their children like colouring books, crayons, markers.) The staff always seemed more appreciative of the personally wrapped gifts. (Given with a note so that they can easily take them home without security issues.)
