Our family of seven (five age nine and under) stayed one night. The room had two full-size beds and a sofa with a pull out bed underneath.
The furnishings were Spartan but adequate, the room very clean except for the sofa which had a few spots. I recommend giving bedding for the sofa bed.
The mini fridge, microwave, and kitchen sink were useful. The bathroom had soap dispensers for the sink and shower, with clean towels.
The room was quite dark when we turned out the light, and there was virtually no noise from the street except a rather watery swooshing sound, very relaxing. I assume that it was the traffic passing, distorted by the thickness of the containers. The air conditioner, once it got working, cooled the room nicely.
Breakfast was lovely, offered free in the little cafe on one side.
This is an ideal place if you want to spend most of your time out and about but would like a place to sleep and shower. We plan to return.

This is a funky hotel that is eco friendly. It is very clean. The breakfast is adequate but nothing special. The only negative is the location. It is about a mile north of the airport kind of the edge of an industrial area. However, the bus system is good. There is a pedestrian bridge over hwy 200 and a bus stop at the bottom of the bridge. Hwy 200 is very busy, fast moving and noisy. We could not hear the noise from our room but the rooms on the front side of the building with decks could be quite noisy. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

Pleasantly surprised by the comfort and unique hotel. Staff was so very pleasant.
Near the airport on the main road but it was very quiet.
The full breakfast freshly cooked was truly the icing on the cake.
This hotel is so well priced, clean, safe, and good location to the airport.
Also offers suites and top deck with sun chairs.

The place is close to the airport. If you can from the airport it is 240 mxp. Walk over the road via the skywalk, a cab is 100mxp. The rooms are small, no real window, and you can hear everything in the next room. The beds are comfortable, and just as we were settled in the LOUD music started. There is really nothing around the hotel so we assumed in must be a guest. The front desk did nothing to stop it. Sleeping was impossible. Bathroom is tiny and the shower has good hot water but no amenities such as a hairdryer. I would not stay again. It was a total disaster.

We spent one night at the Container Inn because our Sunwing flight was delayed until the next morning. The staff did a great job getting all 60 of us checked in last minute at 11 o'clock at night. There was a small breakfast with hot food the next morning. The hotel and room were basic but very clean. It was an interesting place, I really liked the vibe.

No success making online reservation. Phone reservation service no better. Phoned hotel but when arrived there was no record. Did get a room for agreed price. Very basic but OK for overnight before flight home. Restaurant not open as advertised.

I was surprised by the idea of a hotel built out of containers (you will feel it on the way to your room). By the way the lift (or the noise caused by it) was odd but made me smile. Having said that I loved the place. Basic but has got all you need. Greta value for money as I had to find a place for three nights quickly (after booking a place I didn't like) and not expensive as it was Christmas period so everything in PVR was fully booked. Modern bathroom, comfy bed, even a TV and A/C. No wardrobe so it's not for long stays. Ideal for those flying as it is very close to the airport. Friendly and helpful staff. Free WiFi (was crucial for me without mobile internet in Mexico) but on my departure day it wasn't working so I even couldn't request Uber to take me to the centre (nevertheless, the staff was kind enough to get me a cab).
The only downside was the noise - there are carpenters right out side on the west side of the hotel and the high way meter away (not good for those with sensitive sleep).

I recently visited the AMG hotel in Puerto Vallarta as an extension to my vacation. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The young lady at the front desk allowed me to check in 3 hours before check in time. I then was allowed to stay two hours past check out time (although I ended up checking out at normal time) at no extra cost. The receptionist went on to tell me about how the hotel was environmentally friendly. The rooms are made out of recycled shipping containers (which I found the concept to be amazing). The place, although tiny, is great. I highly recommend it.

Great place to stay close to the airport if you're catching an early morning flight. It is also a cheap Uber ride to the airport (about 70 pesos). Staff was warm and welcoming. Having Breakfast included in your booking is a nice touch and we really appreciated this. They served hot chilaquiles, eggs, toast, coffee. Wifi and AC worked great. Shower was excellent, really good water pressure and we always had hot water. Room was very clean. It doesn't feel like you're sleeping in a container. There is a rooftop terrace and modern lobby. Cool experience. When else do you get to stay in a shipping container?

Container Inn is an interesting small hotel on a busy street by Puerto Vallarta airport. The room we stayed at was quite small with little space for clothes but quite cozy.
The staff was very nice and helpful. We did not spend much time in the room during the day but at night it was a bit noisy until certain hour when the traffic slowed down. The breakfast was the same every single day and after 3 days we decided not to have breakfast there anymore. It is a good place to stay for a night or 2 if you plan to stay away the whole day.
